The Fritz Hotel is currently undergoing renovation. Not sure what it will look like when its done. But Im definitely looking forward to seeing the end product.

Everything in this hotel needs attention. It has the most amazing collection of art deco period furniture, but even these need much love and care. It must have been a very nice quirky boutique hotel at some point, but it must have suffered heavily financially from very few guests staying there during the almost one year period of Covid lockdowns. The owner says he has recently sold the hotel. So it is understandable that the hotel is waiting for new energy and new capital.

Congratulations to Fritz hotel in heart of Cape Town for excellent service and friendly staff. The rooms are very clean, and the atmosphere peaceful and reminiscent of the bygone days of historical Cape Dutch period. At breakfast time you wake up with the smell of fresh coffee and butter and toast, and the only mosquito that showed up is now of late... Will I be back? Yea man yea!!

Amaazing! We loved our stay. The room was comfy and clean. Internet connection was good. Staff was kind. Location is great - although not in downtown, it is a walking distance and close to very nice restaurants. Breakfast was perfect!!

Very good breakfast with fresh fruit salad and good coffee (cappuccino). The hotel is very well situated. But you can easily hear other people walking around.Great price-performance ratio!

Great find. Value for money. Good location, just off the buzz of Long Street. Nice rooms. Close to restaurants. Receptionist is SO helpful, warm and friendly. Definitely recommended.

Quaint, quirky, and very interesting off the wall place, good breakfast and the most amazing late night greeter, makes you feel so welcome. Hard to find and not well sign posted, for people unfamiliar to the area. convenient location

Amazing its so perfectly situated restaurants shopping and literally at the base of table mountain!

Its a 3 star experience and the staff are awesome. However, the room only had a bath. On average water is used less economically when bathing Vs showering. Considering the water shortage they really need to upgrade their facilities.

Mediocre... rooms are very average and bathroom a bit tacky with peeling paint. Breakfast a bit drab. Centrally located so very convenient. No kettle or dustbin in the room which was a bit annoying.

Clean neat little hotel and very well situated from my balcony you can have a great view of the table mountain... the staff is lovely 😊 and very helpful...all rooms are equipped with a small screen TV a small bar fridge and two small bottles of wine 🍷 as a welcome drink 🍹 this hotel only served breakfast as for the breakfast you can go on the kloff street where you have various restaurants...theres no air conditioner in the room on the fan I love it 😍

Cozy place and comfortable room, 24 hour reception with super nice staff, great shower, heater, the view from the rooms is beautiful and the coffee is amazing.

Small hotel very well located near a park and a street with several restaurants. Count 45min walk to the waterfront, otherwise go in 10min car. Parking spaces in front of the hotel and in the surrounding area always available.The varied lunch with fresh fruit, cheese and dried meat was very good.
