Beautiful place with amazing hosts

We stayed in Villa Zest for 3 nights in early February 2020 as part of our honeymoon trip. A great location close to the V&A Waterfront. Our room was spacious with a great bathroom and balcony. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape Town.

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of June. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed in contemporary style. Breakfasts (included) were very good with a broad range of foods available. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we had a good experience at the hotel. The hotel was very well located on a quiet side street but only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Victoria and Alfred Wharf area with a number of good restaurants, also within walking distance. A 4.5 Star rating.

Very nicely located boutique style hotel in walking distance to V & A waterfront or to the stadium. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious nicely furnitured rooms, easy parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast will be cooked to your choice. Spacious lounge rooms, but no bar service - you are invited to bring your own stuff. Excellent value for money. We will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Zest during the end of December beginning of January . Friedrich and his staff made us feel very at home and comfortable. They helped us making reservations at restaurants and the hop on hop off tours and recommended us all kinds of other things to do around cape town. Genuinely helpful! The rooms are spacious and modern and the location is perfect. 5 min walk to V&A. Free parking in front of the door is available too.

Modern, clean, with lots of windows and natural sunlight. Just off a main street so perfect blend of quiet but great location. We felt safe walking to and from restaurants. It was also perfect for early morning runs by the ocean. Very good service and world class breakfast. As others noted the bathrooms are part of the rooms. This was a non-issue as each floor had an extra private bathroom if more privacy was needed.

Very friendly staff. Clean. Very small space. The light switches are in off locations, but maybe thats just different for a person from America. Parking is very limited but safe (street parking). TV was difficult to use with limited instructions so we didnt use. The staff were receptive to feedback so let them know that. Breakfast was the best. French toast was so good that I ordered a 2nd order. Great for 1-2 people but would be way too crowded for families with kids (at least in the room we stayed in)

Recently renovated and re-opened (December 2018). Everything is brand new and clean. Great boutique hotel, super friendly staff.

Beautiful rooms, Great stuff and the place is amazing

Most disappointing place during our SA stay. Looking for an alternative place to stay in Cape Town compared to usual waterfront hotels we made a mistake booking such a tiny street underlevel American Graffiti room with a tiner shower room ensuite where refreshment is urgently required such as on the pooldeck. Forget romantic moments at the facing pool because of the numerous overlooking windows all around. We also know parking is not safe at all as prentended since we saw a client s carwindow broke. Breakfast is good and staff especially Gilbert very helpful.

I was recently fortunate enough to stay at Villa Zest Boutique Hotel in Cape Town. On arrival, the façade appeared fairly unimposing and ordinary however, from when I was welcomed into the establishment, I was treated as if I was a special guest. I look forward to returning when next I travel to Cape Town.

Fantastic hotel with a great location to the waterfront and trips to the nearby Cape of Good Hope. Very friendly staff, where the boss is still in the house and the guests tips. Only to be recommended !!!

We felt very comfortable! Good service, a great breakfast and a huge modern bathroom! The location was perfect-approx. 10 min walk to the waterfront. Even in the evening easily feasible.
