The hotels breaths a historic vibe, despite its modern look. The downtown location gives it a real African vibe (compared to hotels in the modern V&A Waterfront), but if that suits your purpose of visit, I wouldnt look further. Good value-for-money!

This place is fabulous

Cape Town Inn on the Square. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. There is a good restaurant, bar, on the roof there is a small pool and a Spa area. There are two saunas - mens and womens. The rooms is medium size, clean and tidy inside, the furniture is not the newest. The rooms were quiet and peaceful. The staff is quite polite and friendly, cleaning was done every day. Nearby are several good restaurants and a tourist center with a bus stop.Overall, I was happy with this hotel! :))

Good old hotel but nicely refurbished. Friendly and helpful staff. The only negative is the parking situation. The flee market opposite the hotel should be cleaned up as well. Will consider staying there again in the future.

Enjoyed our short stay here. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Location is good and the street market is a bonus. Surprisingly quiet given the location but this is a bonus too. Will return in the future God willing.

Pleasant hotel place. Near a gift items market. Safe place. Safe surroundings. Trips buses to visit table mountain and others places are found there.

The hotel stuff is very nice and friendly. The views are amazing from the roof top of the hotel. There’s a small swimming pool which is cute, the gym is very tiny five people cannot exercise at the same time unless they don’t mind the awkwardness. We were a very untidy bunch but the cleaning stuff did their best to keep our room tidy even though on the last day they didn’t bother🥺

This hotel is part of green market square. Its close to many of the shops, restaurants, and tourists office. The room was nicely decorated and modern looking. Coffee, tea and kettle included.The reception staff were very friendly and helpful as was the security, restaurant, and bar staff. I do recommend trying the restaurant. Its a smaller menu but good food and drinks. You can eat in either the restaurant or the bar on the other side of the lobby.If coming to Cape Town, I do recommend.

Very nice hotel

Great rooms and atmosphere. Really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were really helpful and friendly although, housekeeping is a bit unreasonable as they came to clean our before the checkout time. A heads up relating to parking would be welcomed when booking at the hotel so that one is prepare to pay for overnight parking, if one has a rental car. Overall a great hotel.

Stayed their for a night. Must say one thing, their breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only minus was the size of room and the AC in the room.

Absolutely great stay in an excellent location to explore the city. The staff was so helpful and took great care of us in all matters. For a few ZAR the hotel offers the service to park your car 2 blocks away and brings it to the hotel anytime you would like. They even mark scratches for you, so that is definitely an option to trust.Awesome breakfast with as many options as you can ask for. We were just wondering if there is a day without the famous market - can get a bit noisy in the morning as they set it up every day from scratch.

Really nice hotel. But we didnt get the room we requested in our booking. They didnt clean our room properly when we arrived and still didnt clean it while our stayed there.

Located right in the center of town and in front of green market. Its also just beside the hoponhopoff bus office so it very convenient if youre using the bus. Just be a little cautious at night, otherwise its a great starting point to your Cape town adventure.

Hhhm my first time having my car parked by hotel stuff. And they really mean it when they say your car will be made available to you when you need it: in just last than 5 min, my car was already collect from the parking which is two blocks away in that morning park traffic.Rooftop swimming pool is amazing. The sauna didnt really work perfectly for a while until when I was about to leave the room..Food was quite good

The place is amazing and their service are amazing, for the price hey offer. Rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly. Their response to any call is amazingly. Stayed there and I am impressed. Would recommend it to anyone who is on a budget

This is by far the most amazing place I have ever been to. The service, breakfast, location everything was just awesome.. I would have to say my favorite guy though is Fungai, before I even got to the hotel he helped me a great deal and I am truly grateful for him. Also, when we wanted to go out and get something to eat the porter walks with you to Long street to get it and come back, if I requested anything I got it really hastily from the staff every one of Them was so helpful. I would definitely be coming back here, just really sad its over now. Hope to see you guys soon.

The staff who park the cars & welcome you into the hotel are very friendly & well mannered. The hotel is nice & quiet, it is clean & the front desk is very helpful. The rooms are lovely & serviced daily. My only issues were that the bathroom is a bit small & I would recommend putting the Do not disturb sign on the door if you are in the room as the room service often open the door without knocking. Otherwise a great stay, we will be back.

That is between you and the booking agent, dont use a booking agent if you cannot manage it. When you received our booking you should have noticed we put in 4 people and the room was not suitable and contacted us. It was sorted after moving 3 times at 11:15pm with 2 small children and ONLY after you requested we pay an additional R1750 to fix the problem, so you didnt fix it, we fixed it by paying for your and the booking agents mistake. As for the refugees, that is not what I was referring to. We were also told not to walk outside at night or to walk with valuables, so it is not peaceful or safe. The noise until 2am outside and inside is ridiculous

We spent 4 nights staying at the Inn recently at the start of our honey moon and it was brilliant. Great location to see Capetown on foot from. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and the food was great too. I had a burger on our first night and Id say its was probably the best Id had!

The breakfast team were extremely warm and friendly and their service was great. However the hotel could use more professional staff in the room service area. Phone etiquette is definitely lacking.

Nothing wrong with the place and its kept very neat and tidy...but there was a weird smell and the bar closed to early...was a bit nervous with the refugees camping outside but the staff kept a good eye on my vechile...REALLY hope they can get the refugees soon out of the area so good luck with that !

Have been upgraded to a bigger room as our reservation was mistakenly given as a twin bed room. The receptionist has given us a wonderful room with a balcony. Really, really good customer service from the hotel, I can only praise them for their service. Thanks, Onomo Hotels.

The location of the Hotel are great in the middle of the city. The staff are very friendly and the service good at reception. The room are clean and neat with all you need. Nive bar with outside seating. The breakfast are great. Great selection of food to eat. Lots of restaurants and hangouts are nearby. Recommended this place for stay over in Cape Town. Nice pool on top and safe parking can be arranged.

Just recently been at Onomo Hotel and I must say we were pleased with it.Our room was spacious,clean and we got the view of the table mountain.We got exactly whats advertised on their website,front desk was of great assistance and I commend their hospitality.All their facilities were in a good condition(pool,sauna,gym)Were contemplating on coming back soon.No regrets!

I was there for 4 days i.e from 14 may to 18 may 19 , its really awesome experience as the ambience is beautiful and its in center of Capetown everything is nearby .I must like to appreciate the gesture of hotel staff as there staff arranged me vegetarian food from outside in night time . Loved this place n will recommend it to others. Lovely place n supporting staff of hotel . Loved my visit ...

Great location and amazing service. Went there in April of 2013. Everyone from the cleaning staff and the front desk were very helpful. Free wine and cheese after a long day of exploring was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice accommodation, the rooms could do with better finishing. The food is excellent, but the dining room cannot accommodate all the hotel guests leading to annoying waiting times for breakfast and dinner.

Small but clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast is okay but when they are to many people at ones, not enough eggs and eggs are prepared individually and that takes lots of times. Restaurant to small for the amount of rooms they have. Dinner is okay not great but enjoyable. Its a big hotel with a very small pool on the roof in the center of the city. I prefer outside the city.

This was a very nice hotel. We stayed for about 3 days on a study abroad trip. The biggest annoyance was that the bathroom was so small. On the plus side it was clean ans the breakfast was terrific. I looked forward to it each day. The staff was professional and friendly. I also heard that the internet was upgraded. I was pleased with the speed.

Look before you buy!!!.of course it is not the fault of the hotel that the Methodist church right opposite is home to hundreds of homeless refugees which is definitely not a good look.not a safe place to be and markets outside the front entrance is not a good look eitherI couldnt get out quick enough.staff however without exception went out of their way to help and assist in every way.onomo should be rated or reclassified as a backpackers hostel.it is nothing more...no refrig in room for example.

The service was good, staff goes out of their way to make sure that you have comfortable stay.

A very unique hotel...I really think they should be upgraded to five star since they are only three star at the moment but the service is way and beyond ...very clean rooms ,friendly employees keen to know if you might need anything ...very nice breakfast that fills everyone from all parts of the continent

I gave the absolutely lowest overall rating, because right before I left the hotel, 300USD was stolen from my backpack. I was not offered a compensation, because nobody was proved guilty and because I did not use a safe. So to me, it is like hotel is saying that it is okay for the staff to browse guests personal belongings, cause if they’re not in a safe, you’re on your own amigo, the hotel will send you off short by whatever you lost, cause go and try to prove that somebody took something from your room if you didn’t catch them hot handed. Absolutely not recommending to stay in there.

Centrally located, not far from Long St City Bus stop 5. 8 floors to hotel, ensuite, coffee making facilities in room. Great bar with outside seating area. Buffet breakfast, can book as part of room or pay and eat. Very friendly staff. Day trips etc can be arranged at front desk. Gym, sauna and swimming pool (unmanned). I have stayed a couple of times solo and had great experiences both times.

Hotel very good , friendly staff at front desk. Pity the Cobble and Stone Pub in the hotel serves their draughts in dirty glasses even after pointing it out to the barman he just carried on as if it was to much effort to get them washed again. GET NEW BARMAN WHO KNOWS WHAT HES DOING !!

Its a great hotel in a good location with the market, restaurants & museums within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast excellent. You can park at the hotel for an extra 80 Rand. I recommend this hotel highly

The twin room was small but comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. However, be aware that there is no parking at the Hotel. Parking is 300-400m away. The staff will park and bring your car to you, however they accept no liability should there be an accident or theft. If you choose to use their parking, you have to pay R75 a night. We were not told any of this when we enquired about parking a few weeks before we booked. We eventually parked at the Mandela Rhodes public parking which was closer and cheaper.

Old delapidated. The windows are rusted and cannot be opened. The noise from Green Market Square is unbearable. You cannot sleep with the drumming noise from nearby restaurants ALL night especially over weekends.The food is terrible and not very appetising. The alcohol prices are absolutely a rip off.

Staying here for holidays until 31 December.Great place. Central. Restaurants across the road. Clean, spacious rooms. Big enough for me and my daughter. Friendly and helpful staff. Could do with bigger clothing space as well as a better package dstv.

This hotel was good place to stay at. My room was a little small. Staff very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean.

This is a nice property that is centrally located with plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. The breakfast is excellent, though it can be a bit slow at the omelette station. The rooms are nice and have a more modern feel after the renovations. Front desk service can be a hit and miss.

Located by the market sqaure, the mornings are pretty noisy due to the numerous craft traders setting up their stalls by 6AM, works as an alarm, but not when you want to sleep in. Its conveniently located with close promity to shopping centres and food outlets in case one wants to catch a snack, the hotel has a bar which i have only been to once, its well set up and the say i was there, met a very friendly bartender.

Beautiful rooms in the heart of Cape Town. Set around green market square and literally around the corner from long street, its central to everything you could possibly need and there are museums and the companys gardens within walking distance. Didnt use the car all weekend! Friendly and helpful staff, great amenities, free wifi and buffet style breakfast were all amazing pros. The only con I found was that at 6am people start setting up the market in the square and it gets noisy, so unless youre a deep sleeper you might find it hard to sleep in. But it also cant be helped by the hotel so I cant fault them on that. Theres also a gym, sauna and swimming pool on the 8th floor for guest use.

Reasonably priced very central hotel. WiFi supposedly but in reality its useless (like much of S.A.). Rooms are comfortable though not huge. Breakfast is fine though not exceptional. Be careful walking the streets nearby as these are commonly used by prostitutes and petty thieves.

Hello to Fungai, Ms Dawn and aunty B... When we checked in on Friday 18th January 2019, I was greeted by three very friendly faces, namely those mentioned above. Besides their genuinely welcoming dispositions, the reception staff gave my husband and I their utmost respectful assistance! From the kind gentleman (porter) who safely parked our car off site to the friendly faces we saw on our way to our room, you made my day! And to make it extra special, the ladies noted that because it was my birthday, we could have a beautiful Green Market Square facing room... I felt that I was floating on the cloud above table mountain! This birthday was my most memorable one spent with Damion the love of my life and thanks to exceptional people who went over and above to make it so!

Comfortable, central, not overly elaborated, fair value for money, healthy and varied offer of breakfast. A good place to be based if you want to rove around Cape Town on foot.

Shocking. Heard a coulered manager at 14.00 21st of March 2019 say she these white people in a absolute annoyed toned@ the cobblestone bar. Considering this is on human rights day, I actually felt quite disgusted with hospitality as it was quite obvious it was targeted at me standing right next to me.

Room is neat and clean, breakfast is delicious, asked them to prepare a special surprise for my fiancée as it was his birthday they more than met my expectations would recommend this hotel to anyone Im very happy.
