The receptionist is very welcoming, goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Other staff are also very helpful. Our request for an early check in was handled perfectly as well as the checkout process had no hassles.The place is closer to most attractions in Cape Town. Is also within a walking distance with most Consulates. The Mountain View suites give stunning views of the Table Mountain.Rooms were clean. We requested an extra blanket due to the cold weather. Breakfast was excellent. Super fast WiFi is available. However, the internet restrictions are too much as I could not access normal business/news websites.The first Friday & Saturday were terrible at night as we were disturbed by noisy patrons/students - who were running around the corridor or knocking on the door late around 2am. I understand there’s nothing much that the property managers can do to prevent adults from making noise. Maybe if signs are put in the corridors for people to observe silence. Some had come to have a peace of mind. Besides that, our stay was a memorable one.

The staff are amazing! Cannot do enough for guests. I just think that they need to do maintenance.Several places wood is dry,And also needs paint. We were here 20 years ago and it was amazing. Its starting to look a bit run down.

It is an excellent place to stay at. I had a mind-blowing experience here on all 6 days of my stay and trust me my requirements were not so usual.Whys-1- The hotel gave me daily shuttle to and from my office.2- The breakfast which comes complimentary is very good and has all sort of varieties.3- The studio room I stayed in was spacious, had a kitchen section, cabinets and I have to admit, pretty easy on your pocket.4- Staff is too good. They agreed to keep my luggage for a week after my check out.5- I had a strange requirement,where there was a gap between my checkout time and next flight time. They arrange a cab for me to water front and then another cab to pick me from water front and drop me to airport all while taking care of my luggage.I deeply thank them. They were not obligated to do all this for me, but they did. I recommend this place to everybody.

This is the worst place to stay in, non of the rooms are the same, they dont have any standard, some rooms have sofa and partition in them and some dont, some have aircon in the rooms some in the hallway, some have shower and some bath tub only. All the rooms are poorly maintained, the towels not properly cleaned, the electric plugs are in a mess, its very dangerous to leave them hanging like that, please see the photos. After changing three rooms, we got a room where if you shower, as it was a bath tub, than the water is all over the washroom, the lighting is done as needed over time, the lights on the dressing table is a small tube light and its a cheap after market fixture, the aircon units are cheap Chinese, the brand one one heard of, the TVs are unknown brands, its a total mess and its not like they are cheap. I got cheaper room in the 5 star Crystal tower, go figure.

Hi staying at the hotel was a peaceful relaxing experience, with great staff from reception , room servicing, kitchen staff and maintenance staff.Everyone was so polite accommodating and restaurant area was well organised as rules for social distance was strictly applied for the safety of their visitors. Definitely a hotel to be at where you can also travel by foot and enjoy the heart of the mother city and the beautifull sceneries of Table Mountain.And the rates quite affordable...

Friendly staff, free shuttle to airport, V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. Great room options from studio to 3 bed apartments. Wonderful breakfast. Rates as low as $55 for a double occupancy one bed or studio apartment. Great views of table mountain and everything to see or do in Cape Town is within a 15-20 min drive!! Loved it!!

Food: the breakfast has a huge variety of fruit, cereals, muffins and warm options. There is bacon, eggs cooked to order, sausages, beans, stir fry, tomatoes and everything in between. Everything is tasty and in good supply.Room: as soon as we opened the door, we felt at home. The place was spotlessly clean with no weird smells. The aircon worked perfectly and the little kitchen area was clean and useful. The bathroom was clean and the shower water pressure was great! The bed, so comfortable and we were able to relax on the balcony in privacy.Restaurant: it had a small menu but had something for everyone. Very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was cozy and the staff were fast. The food came out the kitchen very quickly too.Pools: 2 pools here, so great! The water was warm and in the afternoon the pools were not in direct sunlight so it was nice to take refreshing dip at the end of a hot dayStaff: housekeeping forgot to replace towels one time but they were perfect with everything else. A quick phone call to the front desk had this fixed within the hour. This one small issue did not detract from the overall feeling of care and attention that the staff showed us. The shuttle driver was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He is a fantastic resource and great part of the team. The lobby staff were also very helpful and we loved working with them.Overall this hotel is a hidden gem and certainly worth every penny. We got amazing value for money and our expectations were exceeded. We loved it so much, we extended our stay by 2 days!

My brother & I stayed at the Best western in August, in all the hotels we stayed in during or 3 week holiday around Africa, all ranging from 3 - 5 Star, I can honestly say the service at this hotel was by far the best! Wonderful stay. Earlier review was sent in error!! Had the best breakfast!! The rooms are clean and staff was very friendly. The view of table mountain from the hotel is gorgeous. They offer transport to waterfront, table mountain and town free of church. Security is good as well. However we had a challenge checking in because of issues with our visa card and it took a bit of time to resolve the issue so please improve in that regard. Internet was also almost absent. Try to put faster internet please. Otherwise bravo. I would definitely recommend the place to everyone

Dirty, disorganized. Bad parking. Construction is a combination of different buildings putting together without any sense of taste. Very disorganized. Not recommended. The restaurant was super bad... uncooked fish... what can I say?

The hotel is located pretty close to night life and some stores. As it is central you can taxi around. In terms of the hotel itself the front desk staff are pretty friendly and will help you even walk you to your door because you cant find the suite. The ground staff were not so great as they were loud in the morning, so you cant get an extra nap.The bed is comfy the sheets are clean and the suite is huge. Bathroom is clean and bright. Overall is was okay nothing wow about it but clean and comfortable for a quick trip.

Be careful when securing a booking online by credit, they will double debit you and take forever to refund you. Beside the hotel theres two shacks, so brace yourself for urine and poo smell.We we there from 28 Dec 2018 - 02 Jan 2018. Still waiting for a refund promised last week. I guess, Reasonable value for money, the kitchen can do with more utensils, just to improve the self catering facility. Maintenance Dept needs lot of improvement. Not that comfy in the 6sleeper rooms, only 2chairs in the in the TV room but the room is for 6. 4 in the kitchen, you cant sit as family...

Had an amazing stay here in Cape Town, our suite accommodation was well equipped and very spacious, enjoyed breakfast each morning with lots of choice on the buffet, also had several evening meals which were excellent all served by friendly staff. Overall a wonderful experience and we would certainly stay here again.

Big rooms, but very outdated. Room is missing half of the furniture displayed on the pictures; no coffee table for example. Beds are alright, comfortable for a couple of nights. Bathroom looked like it needed to be replaced 10 years ago. Shuttle service was mostly not available in the evenings, needed to be booked a couple of days in advance.Next time I would go for a different hotel, with more updated rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western hotel in Cape Town. It was centrally located and the staff was great. It didnt have all the upscale amenities we would have appreciated but for the cost of the stay vs. the service the value was well worth it.

I liked the Best Western Cape Suites. The room was very nice and the bed was divine. With my bad back, I havent slept so well for many years as during the week I spent at the hotel ! The room was well equipped and clean! We where a group of people that stayed, so it was nice to meet up every evening in the Brasserie which was within the hotel premises. Breakfast was great as well! Only complaint was the Internet connection was lousy/non existant in the rooms. The Brasserie had their own connection and was slightly better, so a lot of time was spent there... Staff was very friendly and helpful :-) If I get the opportunity to return to the Cape I would like to spend my first nights at the Best Western Cape Suites again!

Arrived after a long flight only to be taken to a room not ready. No aircon in rooms. For the money paid, this is far from being good value for money.

Internet was awful. But everything else was superb. The bed was amazing too.

Located close to the city centre, V&A Waterfront and other amenities. However thats where it ends. We had a stove that didnt work, bathroom doors that didnt close and missing lightbulbs. Also had some dust. Parking is also a problem. Parking bays should be numbered at one per unit. However we had to park far away due to a trailer of all vehicles.

Nice and quiet hotel. Stuffs are very friendly. Free shuttle bus to airport. Location is a bit away from attractions (15 mins walk), but in the foothill of Table mountain. Great view.

As I write this it is 02h30 am I cannot sleep, itching all over my body. The room is smells cigarette and very stuffy. The only sliding door providing fresh air in the bedroom does not open. 3-star hotel with plenty of amenities in the suites. Good value, connected to a pub, you get your own balcony, and kitchen.Breakfast loses a star - pretty basic, lots of dairy, not satisfying if youve got any diet restrictions, but its an option.
