I needed a place to stay for an evening, it was late Saturday afternoon and I was welcomed by the very friendly hostess and owner MaryThere were various room choices available ranging from private single capsules cabins, in a dorm, as well as double bed capsules. They have a family room, or a private master room too.Best of all is the great vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Its a 420 friendly venue and the owners, Maryna and Mike are great hosts, willing to share their stories or point you in the direction of a fun activity.Great view for the morning coffee, fast WiFi, and practically a stones throw from one of Cape Towns best surf spots.Oh, yes, they have surf boards and wetsuits for hire too.If you are hungry, the cafe can provide something tasty or enjoy a nice braai (barbecue) outside amongst some friends with an ice cold beer.Im definitely coming back, even though my plan to stay for one night only, turned out to be a week!

Cape Capsules is a perfectly located backpackers, a short walk away from one of the best beginner surfing beaches, Muizenberg Beach! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, it is clean with nice bathrooms and showers, and the capsules give you plenty of privacy when you would like it. There is also a nice kitchen/hangout area on the 2nd floor with a view of the ocean.

My new favourite place in Muizenberg, it is super clean, peaceful and the location is just perfect.Maryna is amazing, she let me check in at 11:30. Which allowed me to settle in early and go out and explore ,as I had limited time in the area. Will be back soon❤❤❤

Extremely friendly and helpful staff and owner. Clean and tidy facilities plus fast wifi. Would most definitely recommend for short-term stays.

Maryna and the entire staff were very friendly and hospitable. The capsules are surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Great location, just a few meters from the beach and a short walk to bars, restaurants and the night market which has great food and lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend. It is not your typical Japanese capsule hotel, although the size of the rooms are about the same, its has a little bit of south African flavour, although I wouldve liked it to be slightly more modern, it does however fill the purpose of being cheap and close to good attractions,

Out of all the places to stay at in the Cape Peninsula I chose Cape Capsule Backpackers and WHAT a good choice!Its really as if the building is a reflection of the staff that runs it. Not only is it well organized, sparkly clean and neat and convenient (everything from fresh towels to privacy), but also safe, well located and looked after.I hope that there would be more visitors during my next stay here, since I prefer to travel solo and meet new people.Dankie Maryna, dit was lekker!

We were expecting a nice and clean cabin on the beach. Instead, we arrived in a stinky (smoke smell everywhere, very disgusting!) and unhygienic room with just a mattress. Their description online is very different from reality. We left the place one hour after arriving and we did not get any money back. I really don’t understand how they can ask more than 20 euro for 1 night. The positive thing is that the hostess was very nice

Back in Good old Muizenberg again- you guys did awesome renovations and so many special touches - like the honesty bar - really makes one feel welcome and part of the family !

Cape Capsules is in great location coz it is walking distance from Muizenberg Beach Front. The place has lovely breeze and sun all day. Maryna is so friendly and has always made the best for us to help since we had some issues with a lot of baggage and accommodations.You will feel like home for sure!!!

Super nice place to stay in muizenberg! I just loved it!

What an enjoyable stay! Because I was obliged to travel back home faster, Cape Capsules has been able to give me shelter. And this earlier than planned and for a shorter time than expected. I am also so thankful for the nice tour through Cape Town. Much seen in a relatively short time. Definitely recommended if you want to stay near Cape Town / Muizenberg.

We were pretty shocked because we didnt realize that there was only one mattress in the closet.I was expecting small beach huts.Luggage can be locked in lattice boxes, but you have to rent space if one box is not enough.But the breakfast was really great and the landlady is very nice.

The pictures on the website booking does not reflect the reality of the hotel, we tend to believe that the colored huts on the beach belong to the hotel, but no. very small capsule without the real possibility of entreproser such baggage. The price is quite raise against the proposed service. However, places are very propes, safe, and welcoming is good.
