What is happening at this branch? The pharmacy service cant even be described as bad, since there Is NO SERVICE! Every month I request that my prescription should be automatically prepared. Every month they simply dont. Then you have to wait up to 2 hours (no, I am not exaggerating) and then another 30 plus minutes while they prepare the existing script. Shocking. I will not take me new prescription there once this one has expired

This is by far the worst pharmacy i have ever been to. If the pharmacist dont even know what a probiotic is.... i dont know. Every single time i go to this Clicks I feel aggravated. Staff is so rude. Pharmacy is ridiculous to say the least. Please get qualified staff or rather close your doors. This Clicks will never see me again.

So hubby and I thought we were the concidered type of people who book their Covid vaccine appointments rather then just walking in. The bookings list was full and I managed to get an appointment 2 weeks from the day that I booked. Got there today, on time may I add. Only to walk in and no one seems to know where to go. The vaccine cubicle was unattended, people standing around looking for someone to tell them where to go for the vaccine. Finally when we managed to speak to a staff member they told us to wait in a queue to be helped. So what was the point of even booking??? Everywhere it is advertised that everyone at all stations would be helped but people who booked would be helped before walk ins. Well it is most certainly not the case here. We only got helped a hour after what was meant to be our slot. Jack up your service clicks, itvs not the greatest!!!

Every single review is negative and all with the same issues, the wait is WAY to long, the ticket system makes no difference, and no one answers the phone so you can not even ask them to prep your repeat script if it is with them! When you finally get to the font, its so slow to get what you require its ridiculous! Why has someone not done something about the bad service or lack of help or who knows what to change the situation here... something needs to be done about this Clicks Pharmacy!!!

This is still the worse clicks around.Easier to drive to pick n pay pharmacy.The wait time is crazy, having a new fancy ticketing system still does not make it better when you are STILL under staffed.I thought it would be better by now but same same but you get a ticket to hold now while you wait........

I have never experienced such a lack of understanding the consept that if a patient is on chronic very much needed repeat medication but they never contact you to tell you your script is ready. Almost every single time I had to tell them that some of the medication is not there. I have had enough and today will be the last time I deal with Clicks Edgemead pharmacy.

It doesnt help having a phone for dispensary if it never gets answered. Phoned 5 times this morning AND left a message with my details. Suppose I will just have to stand in the queue and wait and wait and wait.

So sick and tired of every month having to wait in a fat queue. I am not one to review, but Ive just had it. Your ticket system is terrible. I was Prescription 086 and you let 087 088 before me just because they were Self Medication customers. I waited for exactly 27 minutes. All the pharmacists are so slow. They just dont seem to care at all. Did it ever occur to you that people do actually have lives and dont want to constantly have to wait so long to get their medication, especially on a weekend? You are rated 2.5 on Google Reviews. Clean up your act!

Had a terrible experience and so had a few friends. Got billed R8000 to my medical aid for R80 of medicine. My medical aid caught onto it and refused to pay till they corrected it. With a few friends they paid cash for medicine but then they also billed their medical aid. Since then I dont go there for prescriptions.

Every month the same thing. In line for 40 minutes to get my repeat script. Get home, and I was given the wrong thing. So here I am waiting another 40 minutes hopefully for the right stuff. They put me on the system to get sms when my monthly order is filled, I never get the sms. If everyone complains about the same thing, why is nothing done? I work full day, I do not have time to stand in line 1hr20mins in 2 days to get my pills. When this script is done, Im leaving. And not to another Clicks. Somewhere where they provide a SERVICE.

Amazingly busy, terribly managed. Customers wait way too long to be served here, to a point that we simply dont go there anymore. The need for cashiers and even pharmacists to prolong conversation while serving a customer is having an adverse effect. We have since found better, faster service elsewhere.

Long ques, slowest pharmacy service ever. One lady with red hair at the till babbles not stop, which makes paying and exiting even longer. The shelves are never well stocked, and lots of elderly people waiting forever to get service at the pharmacy.

I waited 30 minutes in line, finally my turn. I send through my email to the address that pharmacy lady provides to me.She goes to the back for a few minutes to read it, then comes back saying there is no prescription on the email.I tell her that it was sent as an image in the body of the email and not as an attachment.She goes to the back again for a few minutes and comes back with a page and tells me this is all that was printed( it was my prescription zoomed in x50 and was just the corner of it).This went back and forth for an additional 40 minutes till finally she manages to actually print a full image of the entire prescription.I spent about an hour and a half just to get my medication. Just what the f.....

Monthly prescription for heart medicine for elderly of no concern to this pharmacy. Phoned Monday for collect and go...still expect my mom of 81 on Wednesday to stand in queue outside. Myself on second course of antibiotics and cortizone since last Tuesday (and mentioned clearly)...they rather prefer feet through their shop and health LIMITED issue.Will never set foot in any clicks again.Dischem it will be. They truly care, understand and assist.

Generally excellent. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The shop NEEDS A GENERATOR to deal with the blackouts. Other shops in the centre have independent power.

Something seriously needs to be done about the waiting time at the pharmacy. After waiting more than 20 min and still having 4 other customers that needed to be seen before me, I had to give up! Have more staff on duty if you are always so busy

Now I can understand the poor rating that exists for this pharmacy. After collecting some scripts, the young man who served me at the till never even looked at me, never greeted and never said thank you. Didnt even ask me if I needed a bag. At that moment, a young girl working at one of the other tills, sat down on floor behind the till complaining that she was tired. Poor advert for Clicks. I wonder if any top management reads the poor comments that exist online. That, after I received excellent service from Ali the Pharmasist (always a pleasure to have him and Frans serve me) Im sure that taking my business elsewhere wont break the bank, but thats what I plan to do.

Hung up on me, went in lunch to collect parcel. Lady asked me 4 times what my surname was , still couldnt get it right. Had to leave as they took too long to get parcel, so much for click and collect!

I am discussed at the way the door handling was done today, my wife was in the q from 8:30am and there was ppl pushing in from the other side of the door. She could not go in I would not suggest this clicks to anyone as there management is non existanace.Too

Stood in line to purchase meds from the pharmacy not knowing about the new ticket system. A white pharmacy assistant was busy at the shelves and never bothered to assist me or direct me otherwise. What a disappointment these people are!

Inconvenienced by a junior cashier, wasted about 10 minutes of my time while my children were waiting in the car. Easily resolved by her Supervisor, but she wasted 10 minutes to-ing and fro-ing before calling her senior. Will take me a while to return.

The staff are lovely, but the dispensary queues are always a long wait and sometimes the stock variety is not great especially in the beauty/makeup section.

Why are your lockdown hours not updated on your website?Also, it is very difficult to get any answer on the telephone, ever, not just now during lockdown.Thirdly, there is no reason why all Clicksstores should still be using plastic bags for the dispensary.

I understand that they are a very busy pharmacy and that sometimes people are not as pleasant as what they can be, but their service to me has been exceptional. The pharmacists are really great and their advice is fantastic. Their Clinic is also awesome.

Moving all my scripts elsewhere. So tired of waiting a minimum of 30-40 minutes to be served at the pharmacy. The proximity to home and convenience factor is now outweighed by the excessive time one spends queuing and waiting. Ill rather drive 7 minutes farther, have a larger selection of products, more products in stock and spend less time waiting to be served.
