I regular this Sorbet Dry Bar and find the service and staff absolutely brilliant! I started going there for their signature blowouts which I highly recommend.... They are well priced and from a customer service perspective always go the extra mile! from the head massages to the treatments..... they are my GO TO. I had hi - lights done there on Saturday and once again they never disappoint, I wont be going anywhere else - the head massages, service is so relaxing, I even fell asleep in the chair! lol - look forward to coming back soon!

I walked in and staff were sitting together looking miserable on their cell phones. I was told to go to the basin. I traveled all the way to seapoint because the other drybars in ct did not have split ender machines that worked. This store had a working split ender machine that worked. However, the machine was full of someone elses brown hair and my hair is far from brown. The therapist saw this and proceeded to use the machine, therefore I couldnt see if any of my hair was even in there. She then proceeded to use a flat iron and didnt use heat protectant, i even asked about heat protectant and she didnt use it. I had to request a pair of scissors in order to cut out numerous split ends which still remained after she used the split ender machine on my hair. I was told that the scissors was packed away and she used the machine again. However this machine did not remove any split ends and I drove home unhappy looking at the numerous amounts of split ends that still remained in my hair. I was then charged much more than what the treatment menu reflected and the receptionist, Meghan couldnt be bothered that I was not aware of a price change, she was unfriendly and seemed miserable, no smile, as if she just wanted me to leave. I have visited so many sorbets and other drybars, never have I ever experienced such unhygienic conditions especially during a pandemic and worst of all such poor hair care practices. My hair feels more damaged after visiting this store. The staff are the cherry on top, never have I seen such miserable, unfriendly staff. Seems like its a pattern as other customers have experienced this too.

Agree with Bell...always sitting on their cellphones. Unhappy with the fact that MEGAN decided to move my nail appoint to the corner shop. She should have called and asked me first. Not sure if I can recommend anyone to visit that shop at all.

I was greeted and directly went to the basin to get my hair washed. I only had my hair washed, they charged me R100, which is fine and i paid it, but paying a R100 for a hair wash and you dont even get a head massage?? Thats why i go to get my hair washed, thats what forms part of the luxury. Its a nice place, but i guess my experience was not as great.

Train your blow-dryers properly. I could have styled my hair at home. Very disappointed .

I spent over an hour and a half at this drybar and wasnt offered anything to drink - neither by the 2 women who did my nails and feet nor by the 2 women at the desk who BOTH walked right past me while I was having the mani/pedi. The latter 2 women apologised. Staff werent over-friendly either. In the past I have found the staff at the other Sorbet at the Point to be far friendlier and engaging.
