So impressed with this one. Kayla and the rest of the staff here are all sweethearts. The space is immaculate, making a booking is super easy, and they dont charge ridiculously high prices like some of the other places in the area. I was definitely a very happy first time, and second time customer, and this will now be my go to hairdresser from now on. Well done to the team at Hair By Shaughn!!

This is the worst salon I have ever visited. The owner, an eccentric man, was extremely rude, I just wanted to leave but I was too scared– the combination of the owner seeming slightly out of control and holding a pair of sharp scissors made me feel uneasy, to say the least. He was literally throwing insults to me, while cutting my hair. I cried when I left. My experience with Cape Town in general is that most people, especially service staff, are extremely kind and helpful, so I was baffled. I felt extremely vulnerable. I wouldnt recommend anyone, especially not women, to visit this place.

I went there to get gray hair. When I walked out it was purple. They whasey my hair with chemicals for 4h, after this session my hair was damaged.
