Great experience! Naidene is caring and friendly. She listened and ensured that I got what I asked for. She put a warm towel on me while I was getting my hair washed when she saw I was getting cold. She recommended products and she is knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!

Really disappointed with my TWO visits to Carlton Hair in Waterstone. In November, I asked for caramel balayage and I got yellow blonde stripes. Then today I asked for a warm brunette from a different stylist and I got something very close to black. I supplied both stylists with this photo of Gal Gadot and neither of them got close to it, and today she tried to convince me that my hair is not black.This dye mishap is something I would expect from a cheap small-town hair salon, not one that charges me over R1000 for the wrong colour and some excuse about my hair absorbing the colour quicker than expected.

The stylist was fantastic and was a great laugh. She made my morning.

Diane gave me a great haircut. She listened to what I wanted and cut my hair as i requested. Most hairdressers cut your hair too short but Diane did a trim as requested.

Really not impressed with my experience at Carlton Hair in Waterstone Village. I just went for a quick wash and blow dry. They washed my hair with cold water, and then the lady proceeded to bush my wet, bleached and highlighted hair with a SOFT bristle brush... None of the knots were properly brushed out. So when she blow dried my hair, she had to do it through tangled and knotted hair. It was painful and totally uncomfortable - I could actually feel how my hair was being ripped from my scalp during the blow dry. Very disappointed - wont ever return there again. Thats R197.00 of my money wasted.

Fantastic, as always.I was lucky enough to come across the salon in 2015 when I moved to the area and I’ve never had a bad experience. Always top notch and super professional.They’ve successfully taken me to red, pink, brunette, platinum blonde and back to my natural hair colour (blonde) on every occasion.Got my entire family to support Carlton as well, after they had horrible hair failures at other salons.Be smart. Go to Carlton.Five stars isn’t enough.

Never, ever again! Besides my hair getting completely messed up, by far the worse Carlton experience I have ever had, from washing my hair with cold water, to a horrible head massage that did not even include my neck. Then a totally overweight hair dresser rubbing her belly flubber on me and almost poking my eye out with her scissors. And the actual haircut; Basic instructions: Same style, just shorter. If i wanted a standard gents cut I would have said so or gone to a barber.
