We loved our stay. Staff was incredible. They were very friendly and accommodating. Price is very reasonable for location and views. Views of False Bay were spectacular and rooms made it very relaxing to spend time inside enjoying the views. Was a great place to stay for exploring the Cape. We would certainly come back!

What a beautiful place very close to Simon‘s Town and the Table Mountain Nationalpark! Big rooms with a breathtaking view, generous breakfast and very helpful staff. Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a place to wind down!

Do yourself a favour and stay here. You wont regret it. Rooms are immaculate and beautiful. Facilities are first class (best internet connection I had during my whole trip). Service is fantastic and food is delicious. Ill be back.

We stayed for three nights in Simons Town and Lynn & Amanda took care of us like we were family. They helped us find a car rental (which ended up being a bit tricky, but they saw us through). The breakfast was delicious, the rooms and common space were comfortable and beautiful. The views were spectacular, and we loved the way the place was decorated. We couldnt have asked for a more perfect place to stay - Simons Town Guest House comes highly recommended.

We stayed at Simon’s Town Guest House in November-December 2011. Fantastic experience overall! Beautifully and tastefully decorated, spacious room with breathtaking views, great breakfast, very pleasant, attentive and extremely helpful owner. When we go back to South Africa we definitely stay there again!

The view of the mountain and ocean are amazing and at night you are mesmerized by the town lights.We were subject to exceptional service and felt right at home.The delicious breakfast also helped a lot :-).Will definitely visit again soon.

We stayed here for two nights. The manager of this place is absolutely wonderful! The room was very nice with a view to the sea. We loved the breakfast and especially the fruit salad.

Spectacular location and perfect hospitality. Not only Amanda, the owner is a wonderful and friendly guest, but she also offered us excellent advice on places to see and addresses for eating. A perfect place to visit the cape area avoiding the bustle of the big Town.

We stumbled upon this guesthouse and booked 2 rooms last minute. We wanted to be somewhere close to Cape point, and this place was perfect. Amanda checked us in and showed us to our wonderful rooms. The decor is lovely and the photographs are awesome, especially if Amanda gets to tell you about the backstory on them. Our room was gorgeous and we watched the sunrise from bed. Breakfast was great! We were so upset that we didnt have a chance to stay more than one night. If we come back to SA we would definitely stay here as much as possible! Thank you!

We never ever could enjoy such a beautiful view and hospitably before. Its more than worth to visit Simonstown Guest House. Form the beginning: totally helpful, super rooms, everything clean, quiet and wonderful breakfast.

This place is great. It already has excellent reviews and I can confirm what other people are saying. Amanda is a wonderful host and was always available to answer our questions and chat over breakfast. Two things that stood out: 1. We were in Cape Town/Garden Route in August and it was one of the only places in which we were really warm as it was still winter. 2. We had our 5 month old baby with us and Amanda set up a really nice cot with fresh sheets and cute toys. Overall a perfect comfortable place to stay.

Outstanding in every way. Location and views unbeatable, including whales in the bay right outside your bedroom window if you visit in Aug/Sept (not guaranteed, but very likely!). Rooms are stylish and comfortable, in fact luxurious - great value. Breakfasts are outstanding - healthy options available, but the cooked breakfasts are a must, especially if your will-power is as weak as ours! Breakfast on the sunny terrace looking over the bay was a real bonus. And the friendly, warm welcome and helpfulness from Amanda and her team is the best we have experienced anywhere. Dont miss this place, it really is outstanding.

After a long journey from Plettenberg bay this one night stay was just the ticket before my 12 hour flight back to the UK!Delicious bed (and bath) with a view of the sea (both which were quite hard to get out of!) and a lovely breakfast to boot.Only a shame I couldnt stay longer....
