I always go to this shop on a Sunday for some lovely cake and treats. Their cakes are the best compared to other shops but remember to go as early as possible as they sell out very fast just because its so mouth watering 😅 the service is always great from the bakery staff to the cashiers. I would personally recommend this shop even the security at the front door greets and that is something most dont do.keep up the great work to all staff 👍👌

This particular Spar isnt in my neighbourhood anymore BUT their specials, friendly staff and super tidy, well-stocked shelves keep me coming back in spite of the extra drive. They are pretty much legendary for having the longest, yet fastest moving queue to the cashiers - Ive joined the end of queues snaking to the back of the store and within less than 10 minutes Im packing my groceries into the car. Id say its magic but thats doing a disservice to the awesome cashiers...this is my favourite Southern Subs Spar for sure. Go there and shop. Lots of parking, friendly car guys, definitely not a slog.

The best Spar ever. My one stop shop. It has everything. Bakery has fresh breads and rolls everyday. Wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetable. Its just a very nice grocery store. Sushi and fresh fish also available.

Love the fresh sushi and fresh fish section - always high quality and fresh. I actually love this place - I usually come here to buy my exam study snacks and find Korean Noodles and exciting imported sauces and spices I can’t find anywhere else 💯

A very BiG Superspar. Went late Sunday so most fresh goods were sold out. Next time I am in CT I will go early. I believe the bakery cakes are great.

Usually a positive experience, but had a fairly negative incident with staff. But overall a good place to find a good range. One negative cannot overturn normally positive.

A bit disappointed in the quality of the products. This store def had a drop in quality. The only redeeming factor is their sushi bar. Alan and Ken are really great at what they do and really friendly.

Brings all the boys to the yard. Its a great spar, has a coffee bar, safe parking, gated. Many shops nearby, overall inside is a well oiled machine.

Its a good place to visit. Parking was also not an issue for us. 👍

The best Spar by far.. This Spar leads the way for every other retail store.. They seem to have the best cashiering /queueing system with humble and the friendliest management and staff

On good days its neat,tidy and stocked well. On busy/slow days the shelves arent stocked or restocked with fresh product on time. Other than that the staff are friendly, the shop has a busy, yet welcoming atmosphere.

So convenient and some nice specials...we need all the help we can get

Only reason Id shop anywhere else is if I battle to find parking. Other than that, this store offers the best shopping experience.

The only thing is there are no public bathrooms , otherwise I always get what I need there. Their sushi is always fresh and for me affordable.

I shop at Spar Rosmead once every week and spend nothing under R1500 per week. I was very happy when they started selling meat from Goodhope butchery as I only buy at Goodhope or Wembley... I went to the store on Friday 24 September only to find the unhalaal meats mixed with the halaal meats...dont get me wrong Im not saying there is anything wrong with the other meat, just that there is a very big section for the unhalaal and when I found this i was very shocked...I asked one of the managers about this and her response was.. we mix the meat now because of space. Remember the halaal section is extremely small...the unhalaal section is about 4 times the size...I feel the response I got was in no way valid and the fact that the meat is mixed is disrespectful...anyway I just left the store without even buying anything and am not sure if Ill be going back.

Great freshly baked bread.All the other thing thing you would expect from a convenience store.Would be my regular shopping location if it were not for the Aisle of Doom, aka the sweets aisle, on the way to the till. An absolute nightmare to negotiate with my 2-year old. I prefer the distributed till system as opposed to the one long lane of terror.So would have given them 5-stars, but they lose one for placing profit over parent convenience.

Nice and convenient place to shop, everything is in its place. Whoever is managing that Spar has order in his or her life and that filters down to the staff as well.

This place has Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and Gales Lemon Curd! Not found these anywhere else in Cape Town, Joburg or Pretoria and I have looked hard!

I absolutely love shopping at Spar. There food is delicious. You dont stand long in a queue when you need to pay.

Out of my way so I generally just come here for the sushi, which is awesome!

Best Spar in my opinion, always have a large variety of fresh produce and the quality is excellent. Queue to pay can be quite long but moves quite quickly. Want a refund? No problem. Overall excellent service.

Have always loved this Spar & have been using it for the past 20+ years. Its a Super Spar & on my doorstep - 2kms from home. Their meats are always super fresh & they have a great sushi counter. You have access to so many other facilities that are all on the same site, viz. Steers, Nandos, Medicross, Clicks Pharmacy, KFC, Simply Asia.

Its a very nice Spar. My offices are above it and so I shop there frequently. Nicely stocked. Seldom have to wait long at checkout. The coffee station is very good.

Has deteriorated since it changed ownership or management a couple of years ago. Less variety in stock, not so clean as it used to be either.

Hi, had great experience, just a bit disappointed that I couldnt find the Magnum small tub ice cream with chocolate pieces in it. Been advertised on TV for a while and wanted to buy it today . A bit sad about it.

This has to be my absolute favorite supermarket. The service is outstanding! Super friendly,helpful staff are always there to help. There have been many occasions where I have searched practically every store in the surrounding area for a particular item such as new wicks for my Zippo, and just when I had about given up completely, Rosmead SUPERSPAR had everything I needed. Great store, love it!

Pleasure to shop at and the queues are long but you get out of the shop so quickly as the queues go very quickly..

This SuperSpar is always fully stocked and customer service is always a premium experience. The variety of products is large and expansive. There are also special sections dedicated to specific imported items for both specific and general clientele having the opportunity to experience products you dont normally get in other SA shops.
