I love that this store is never full. It also stocks busy corners halal meat products that is such a big thumbs up. Best of all you dont find loitering on the premises and no annoying car guards.

Small store doesnt have a big range but have the important stuff

This franchise needs some help. Meat with an expired sell by date was found. Flies were walking on the baked confectionary inside the display. Covid protocol is poor. Sanitary wipes for the trolley handles etc is not visible. Very little parking space available.

I have given this store a two star rating for the specials but none for staff vs customer relations. I had an issue with the availability of an item on special and was told that they not pick n pay stores that offers rain cheques. When I mentioned it to the manager on duty he laughed at me like its the norm for staff to reply in that manner.

When this was brought to the cashier.. I was told.. oh we dont check the shelves ... too shocked by the response I didnt bother asking for the store manager... last week my mother bought from the bakery and it had mold where you couldnt see from outside the packaging. This screams Health and Safety so I suggest steering away from this OK if you can else be careful and check before buying.

Just horrible. Stood in the queue for over 10 min. Staff is just, arr hulle Kan wag. Dont try to go in here even for a bottle water. Jy gaan wagggg and it dont even seems like an OK store. Jorr, needs upgrades.

The staff needs to wear there mask over there noses.Management not visible to see there staff mask not on there faces.Not following protocols

I love popping in at OK groceries as it is convenient and the prices are reasonable.

As far as LCM stores go in Strandfontein it is below average to ok, not nearly as good and does not nearly offer as good a variety of goods as most smaller stores and forecourts in working class communities (more affluent suburbs). Parking can be a nightmare sometimes and the stores here are generally a bit dark (badly lit)

Large store for a local grocer that supplies only necessities... Supplies limited options if you feeling fancy on food options or other things such as toiletries...

Dodgy area but easy access and makes for a good store as there is no actual other alternative in the general area. Also has a liquor store and the alcohol is reasonably priced.

Bottle store open on a Sunday till 6pm which is great. Shop is good enough for a OK I would think but they may need more cashiers as the queue can sometimes get long and the wait feels a bit long.

Well stocked, the manager and staff on this day and week was in control of situations and regarding shortage of water made it there business to contact clients who asked to be contacted when their supply of water arrives, they deserve a bottle of Bells, other then that store is always very clean and cashiers are well in control with a speedy service. Nice cosy atmosphere.

Isle space is impressive but teller on thosboccasion were minimal. Could just be a bad day for tellers. They have a decent hot foods section.

Conveniently located on spine road. A bit pricey but in the right location.

Most times not a good experience ... only go there if I have to. High staff rotation ... who are not customer orientated ... many occasions on cell phones and not attentive to customers. Store standards have dropped since initial opening. Dont really get what I need. Overall needs stronger management!

This store is ok to pop in for an emergency item or when they have specials. Often dirty with a horrible smell , loud music and a rather unfriendly manager and owner. Normal prices are higher than other retailers by a couple of rands to R20 per item

This O.K. store is situated in Bayview it can be accessed from both main roads Spine and Badenpowell road,especially for holiday makers and visitors to Strandfontein pavilion and Muizenberg ,not very big more like a family store with other smaller shops surrounding it ,eg. Fisheries,Hairstylist ,Dial-a-Pizza and Hardware store, on the premises is ATMs of ABSA,Nedbank and Standard bank .sufficient parking for +-100 cars inside and outside parking .

Ok Grocer offers the neighbouring areas easy access to immediate groceries. Ok Grocer has a liqour store that has a wide range of bottles to keep your summers cold and winters warmit is also surrounded by neighbouring stores like phone repairs, hair dressers, fisheries and hardware store

Good service and lockdown etiquette

I hate this place because the staff dont greet if u ask a question about a product its like they doing u a favour the foyer area just outside the shop is dirty and crowded the security doesnt tell the idiots that park in the parking bays meant for wheelchair etc not too park there. What if a fire broke can u imagine the chaos because its too crowded and parked closed. And as for the manager owner of the shop oh my word he is the worst of them all. Disgusting excuse of a human. Besides him being Ill mannered and rude he is not faised by complaints or concerns at all. The staff compliment changes so often cant blame them. He should invest in a uniform because some of the front line staff dress as if they going to a night club. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I unfortunately have to pop in from time to time for emergencies only. Wont miss it if it just burnt to the ground.
