This review pertains only to the MiniGolf course.We haven’t been to the minigolf course in a few years and decided to take our kids for a round.The course is in total shambles (see pictures). Holes in the ground cover, trash everywhere and even the pipes that connect two holes together are blocked with mud and golf balls and no longer function. We lost two balls due to missing border bricks/planks.Very disappointing, you would be better off going tobogganing up the road.

This is the state of the Putt Putt now. Ernie Els would be ashamed. My kid enjoyed himself, although we had to wait 20min for Putter to be available although there was only 4 kids his age/size playing.Debris, berries, palm leaves all over the course. No more water features. 4 holes unplayable.Yes, you must still pay just to play.This has been coming on now since 2019Today is 2021-04-28Clearly they in no rush to fix it

The putt putt is in a shocking state. We had to wait 30 min to get 4 putters as they only have 20 for the whole facility and all was in use. Management does not care and they are unfriendly and unhelpful. The enitre facility is delapatated. The course is full of trash and the putting service is n a schocking state. See the photos. Some holes dont even have a putting surface anymore. Putting on cement. Overall very dissapointing as this was a very nice place for the family in the past. Take your kids elsewhere.

The Golf Village in Tygervalley is a incredibly unique place with a amazing atmosphere. The views are amazing,the restaurant is amazing and not to mention the courses. The Golf Village Tygervalley truly caters for all. Whether youre a beginner just looking to unwind over a few rounds of Put Put with your partner or friends,or whether youre a golf enthusiast coming to practice your swing,youll definitely be satisfied once you visited The Golf Village Tygervalley. With its breath taking views,paired with the exceptional courses on offer,it makes you feel like a true golfer on a PGA tour. From your first tee up until your last,youll definitely not want to caddy up and leave.

Food was good at the restaurant but out put put experience not so good. The coarse is very dirty with empty cool drink bottles and papers lying around. The garden maintains was also done last year by the looks of it. There was also a very bad smell, almost like some had mad a toilet of the bushes next to the course. We really felt like this was not the R180 worth we paid. Well defiantly not recommend going there to play put put again. Management really needs to work on the up keep.

Friendly staff and good hot chocolate. The resident rescue cats made the visit an even better experience

The golf balls at the range is horrendous to say the least. The mats are full of more holes than some roads... so you are better off hitting off the concrete. The ball pickers have an entitled attitude and hide golfballs so that there is always a shortage and you would rather leave than wait 45min for 30 balls... this place has really gone backwards and is not worth your money... lastly as a member in descember they have the audacity to charge you a double in season fee... I have sympathy for the restaurant as they are also suffering but just be aware that they have nothing to do with the range. In short... this place doesnt even deserve half a star.

My first experience at this venue was not good and will most certainly be my last. From the time I walked in and was NOT greeted till the time I left I felt unwelcome. I asked the questions, was told to pay R159 and I could use unlimited balls...no other option I am afraid. I eventually figure out where to go and where to get balls...except there are none so I sit around and wait, as advised by another guest, no staff in sight, eventually the balls arrive. I then make my way to the range area where no hitting off the grass is allowed and the mats are worn out with no ability to tee up the driver and no distance indicators on the driving range...it was not a good experience, to say the least. Perhaps the Covid situation has had an impact on their ability to maintain this facility but I am afraid these kind of things are certainly not going to attract new business. On their website they say visitors are welcome and that their facility is world class....not even close.

Enjoyed the driving range, bring some sun glasses if you going to hit some balls after work.

I seriously recommend you avoid the mini golf. The greens are in a state and the experience is not enjoyable at all. The course is long but some of the holes are in state of disrepair, sad considering this used to be a great place to play mini golf. Read the other reviews and look at the images before visiting.

Putt putt in bad condition. Course had 3 closed or unplayable holes. Surfaces in need of repair. Not a putter available for each person. Half way through our games the guy at the window disappeared. Nobody there when we wanted to return our putters and balls. No cooldrinks or water available to buy.

I like the place nice and beautiful

We went on Sunday with our children and grandchildren expecting a pleasant afternoon together on the putt putt courses. We are bitterly disappointed with the construction and even more with the lack off maintenence. Quite frankly you have no right to charge money for such a disgrace. I wish that I could post pictures of the poor state of the place. It is very dangerous in places and a report to the City of Cape Town can close this place down. Health and safety is not very high on the owners agenda. What a waste of my hard-earned money. I asked for the manager and was told that it was Sunday and that only weekend staff were available. Why am I not surprised? I wonder if anyone will reply to this poor review.

Good place to practice your golf swing, putting and short game. Spacious, and cafe is nice to have drink cappuccino.

My family and I did not enjoy our experience at the restaurant. The quality of the food was not as previously experienced. Coupled with this was that the prices have increased noticeably. One doesnt mind paying as long as the quality is maintained.Disappointing 😞

Today was my first visit there and I was truly surprised. What a lovely place to visit. I will definitely return.

We enjoyed playing putt putt! There were some areas that need renovation as the we couldnt play there. All in all, a good experience!!!

Waiting for balls was a mission ,once ny bucket was empty had to wait more than 20min.The waiting frustrated me and ratger left.

1 star as 0 was not an option! Absolutely shockingly bad course. Zero maintenance done and NO sanitary control! Office standing open, no staff to monitor anything! Staff are rude as hell!

Sad sad sad. The course is worn, its dirty and it smells like a sewer. Its such a beautiful place that has not been maintained. The staff is not available to assist and the equipment is just worn and sad. My daughter slipped and hurt her ankle walking there. Not safe for children.

Took my son for a Putt Putt game on his birthday. What a mistake! I asked for a refund. How can you charge people money for a course like that?!The driving range is nice and so the greens.But i think you can close your Putt course. Its clear you not doing the slightest form of maintenance.

Good facilities for practicing your golf. Would have liked to see a bit more undulation in the putting area to make it more viable for that type of practice. Otherwise very pleasant.

The putt putt course is in a dismal condition and has been so for years. There is no maintenance and it is deteriorating. Why do we even pay admission where does it go? They cant even sweep the courses. Nor fill the water features again as no water restrictions ate in place and the covers are ripped and peeling off. DISGUSTING

The putt putt course has so much potential, but is in serious need of maintenance. The greens are ripped, holes where an upper level leads to a lower one dont work, etc.

Not the best quality driving range, semi run down. No respect for staff, no protective gear. Don’t see this in any other province.

The most worse putt putt ive ever experienced....no one was there to help us, many of the courses are closed, its very dirty and not maintained

Nice driving range. The pickup guys starting picking up balls at 18:30 and only stopped at 19:30. It seemed as if they wanted us to become impatient and leave so that they could be done working.

Went playing with friends and kids. What a disappointment!!! The course is in sambles litter all over 3 of the holes cant be played and then they ask money for this!!! Please avoid at all. Rather play at Bossa at Burgundy

It was fun and a decent price but the course is damaged with some holes being half broken and others removed completely.

This place has such potential with the views, facilities and family fun. Unfortunately the putt putt courses are looking very tired and unkempt. The courses are well designed for a more challenging round. There are 3 courses to choose from. There is also a driving range for the avid golfer.There is a small kiosk offering refreshments or snacks.

Executive summary: they will charge you even when your contract is over.I cancelled my contract, paid all my fees in full, and still they attempted to charge me for an extra month then threatened to take legal action against me. Then they made up a story of me not paying. My bank account and debit order history says otherwise. Ive seen other people complain about this too. People complain that its impossible to terminate a contract and that they will attempt to charge you for months. I submitted a dispute with my bank.Now for a review. Mens toilet smells really bad. The course itself is nice though, I like the driving range. Restaurant service was good and people in general were friendly. Sales people were pushy, but thats to be expected!

They could do some maintenance on the surfaces. Holes in most of the greens.Water features need to be cleaned out as well. It could do with some TLCStaff are also not very friendly.

The mini golf course has so much potential and is a really great length but is in a terrible state currently. None of the through holes are open so you have to pick up and manually drop your ball on the 2nd half of these holes. There are so many cracks and a lot of the felt is torn. Some holes are almost impossible to play. Because the course is placed directly under trees, often all the holes are covered in sticks and leaves, to such an extent,making it impossible to actually putt the ball in a straight line. Will not be returning until maintenance is performed. Such a disappointment for my 6 year old.

Very helpful staff. Unlimited balls for just R109. Well looked after Putting and Chipping greens mabye just work on the sand bunkers. The resturant is great and the service is on par.

The attached restaurant is great, they serve great food. Went to play putt putt and although we found the course entertaining it is in dire need of maintenance, greens were molding and wooden bridges were starting to rot. Place could use a little tidy up.

Not the best driving range Ive been to.They were out of all sorts of tees and do not do club hire.We were lucky that one of the people we went with had a set of clubs.The putt putt course was poorly maintained. We had to clear parts of the course of leaves causing obstruction. Parts of the course were missing the barrier bricks (this wasnt too bad cos it added extra challenge).There is definitely a lot of room for improvement with regards to maintenance.

This could be a brilliant place if a little more funding was put into it.Golf staff are wonderful.Super approachable and knowledgable.Restaurant is good, car wash is brilliant R40 bucks for a wash and go.I cannot review the hairdresser as I havr not been there.Driving range is good but some of the driving mats are broken or have missing grass sections.Only negative part is the putt putt section.Course is really torn up.Carpet put in sections to replace missing grass.It use to look amazing but I dont think much maintenance was done.If they had an indoor putt putt it would be amazing.The putt putt course is the only major negative.

Alot of space(driving) and big green to practice. But we waited 10minutes upon arrival for any balls to hit. When you get tired you have to walk inside to sit because there is only one bence to sit.So good driving range but thats that.

Possibly the worst PuttPutt I’ve ever come across. I phoned in prior to getting there to ask whether there were water puddles on any of the holes & I got a swift “no puddles” response ... upon arrival I was at the front desk & i had a look over the receptionist’s shoulder & I could see half the course was flooded. So she didn’t even bother to have a look. Credit to the man housing the PuttPutt course, he started cleaning up when he saw we started playing.

We were a group of eight. Waitress was friendly and good.Ours food was served in good time and correct as per our order.

Was so excited and so disappointed all in one. No one explained where to go so we were lost. Then the lady helping Sith the clubs was rudely chatting on her phone and didnt even listen to how many kids we had. Shocking to day the least.

Dont go near these guys. Complete sharks. They sweet-talk you into signing up for a debit order. I have been battling to cancel my debit order for the last 6 months. Vote with your feet and put crooks like them out of business.

Putt putt course is disgusting! Course is ripped up en pipes leading to next part of hole are all broken but one! No cleanup! Even toilets would not be unlocked after asked. Very very disappointed! No maintenance has been done in at least the part 3 years!

The putt putt course is really dilapidated and needs major repairs. The holes are so rounded that it is almost impossible to get the ball in even when you are a metre away.

This is to warn all those thinking of joining the Momentum golf village driving range . An Old friend of mine asked me to sign a contract as he needed the sales , after explaining I never go out to Durbanville , i reluctantly agreed . A few days later I called the range , invoking Buyers remorse whilst explaining the situation , they got angry and slammed the phone down . A year later I get a call from their attorneys , Ive been handed over ( Even To this day I have never been back since the day i was asked by said friend to come for a Visit ) Not that they care , they just wish to extort money . I urge you all NOT to fall into this trap , they WILL hand you over , they do NOT care how what or why . If you wish to join a club I suggest Riverclub ( No contracts ) . The river club offers so much more than this Golf village . I have been harassed by these sycophants for months . Dont let them do the same to you

Great driving range

I wanted to play golf here but they didnt have any left handed clubs for rent.Its like hand discrimination (handism?). So Im not keen to come back, because my family had fun and I just sat on the side like an awkward potato basking in the midday heat.Please fix this.Thanks :)

Went for putt putt... it was severely run down... bird poo all over the course (and piles of it), carpet broken, bumps, leaves, branches etc. And they say there is Monday maintenance... what are the staff actually doing during this time?

Dated and poorly maintained facilities. Putt putt course has issues on just about every hole. Could do with some TLC.

Mini golf course needs a lot of work. Some of the boards at the start of certain holes are wrong, others are missing entirely. The course itself has been abused and not maintained. To top it off, you have to sign in with your phone number and the day after they give you an unsolicited sales call.
