The Langebaan Country Estate staff went out of their way to ensure that our golf tour party of 30 players had an exceptional experience.

Stunning estate with a very good Black Knight golf course. The security is very good and the location is great. There is a little bit of traffic that gets noisy, especially motorcycles outside the estate that could be rectified by the estate lobbying the municipality for yellow speed cameras on Oostewal between the estate main gate and the OK shop down the road. This would certainly help reduce noise for home owners that are nearer to the road and also improve safety as there seems to be accidents on this stretch of road at least once every few weeks.

Had and awesome day at the golf course...putting was very bad but I enjoy every second of it.

Walking on the marked trails by the golf course was very special in the flower season. Lovely views of the sunset from the clubhouse.Unfortunately the photo is an inadequate representation of the golf course late evening.

House amenities and facilities are really too class. When we encountered a problem it was sorted out ASAP. Beautiful, well worth the stay. Winter rates very affordable.

Someone needs to educate the chef around dietary requirements, specifically celiac...

Facilities are good. Golf course in good condition, but poorly managed. The Breeze restaurant is rather to be avoided. Food is monotonous, service is very poor and sometimes there is not even enough food for people who made bookings. Despite people complaining even on their fb page, management do not respond nor seem to care.

Very nice accomodation! There is a lot space between units so its very peaceful, at least where we were. Lots of of nice shrubbery and pretty birds. Our unit had a nice spacious balcony with a braai. Nice facilities, including a golf course and close to town and beach. I wld definately reccome staying here.

Its a wonderful place to settle down in as your forever home 🏡 quiet, well maintained, beautiful homes in a range of prices, golf course & club, swimming pool, gym, lovely walkways around the estate, children can play safely within the estate & its close to wonderful beaches & great shopping centres.

My only issue is that the members dont make you feel welcome, other than that it is a great course with great facilities.

Great golf course.

Wow. This place is so beautiful and so clean. Houses are big and look stunning. Golf course is open and the greens are so well looked after. Security is very helpful. There is a gym as well so you can train and exercise when you want. Saw some wild life which is amazing. It is a nature reserve as well so that was a nice scene to see.

Friendly attentive staff. Neat facilities and well maintained grounds. Reasonable food and drink prices. If it were closer to Cape Town Id give it 6 stars...Id definitely recommend a sunny afternoon bevvy at the 19th hole

The house was absolutely amazing. Everything we needed and much more was there. The photos do not do the house justice. And the hosts are very nice and helpful. Will definitely want to return. The house is not far from stored if you do need anything. Is it worth your money? Absolutely.

Enjoyed our stay in one of the lodge houses ... Beautiful view. Close to pool and restaurant. Kids loved the range Cafe. All you can ask for a family getaway...

Luxurious, modern & close to the sea. Could just be the perfect place to retire. Also has a great golf course and driving range & many more activities to be part of during weekends. Love the look and feel of this place. Can not wait to see what the future holds for this estate.

A really beautiful place to spend the weekend. Spacious accommodation situated on the Langebaan golf course, serene and with an array of wildlife right outside your door. Relax and watch Impalas grazing 50 meters away from you, if youre up early, you will definitely see a couple of foxes and the occasional Mongoose sitting on your stoep. You can sleep soundly at night in a security complex and there is also a mountain bike trail through the estate for you to enjoy. Take a 5 minute drive to the stunning beach where you can also do kite surfing or wonder around the curio shops available. Just a lovely getaway for the family.

Very relaxing and quiet environment, the estate is very nature conservative. They have a lot of fynbos and wild bucks. The Country Estate is most famous for the beautiful golf courses and restaurant that serves lovely dishes for reasonable prices. They have friendly staff and security that is always willing to help.

One of my favorite places to visit, great mix of nature and fantastic golf course. Club house is great and the food as well. Something for everyone to do and if not at the country club, just 5 minutes will do the trick. For a small place you have almost everything in just the right amounts.

It is beautiful and serene..Tarentaal take their chicks for walks on the Greens.. Golfers always respect them and wait for the adults and chicks to Cross. Beautiful Clubhouse tasty lunches and serene setting

Good security spacious close to the sea

Very quiet and well managed estateSecurity is of a high standard. But unfortunately living in the estate was unpleasant, we sold. Privacy is almost non- existent, houses are built almost on top of each other, neighbours are right in your face, everybody that walks past your garage peeps in to see what you are doing. Houses are very similar, there is no individuality, all painted a choice of similar colours, as prescribed in the building guidelines and building rules, some houses are just fancier than others and the people living in that fancier houses, think they are fancier than the others. Estate living?? no thanks, been there, done that, got out, thank goodness, not again.

Great place for dining with your better half, family or all by your lonesome. The celebrity chef knows her stuff very well, am honored to eat her creations.

Not much to see and do if youre not a gholf player. Accommodation in the golf suites is modern, clean and comfortable, but nothing special or extraordinary. I didnt have an apartment with a view, and I cant see that any of the other apartments might have a view (of the ocean, in any case). If thats important, enquire before you book. Staff and reception were very friendly and helpful.

I came as a guest for one day to play a round of golf. As I came a long way from Germany I only brought my 5 most important, fitted clubs in a small carry bag. The unfriendly staff refused me to play as I am not allowed to play with my own clubs, with the argument that I must have a fully equipped golfbag with 14 clubs - if I play them or not doesn‘t matter.I am pretty sure that I can play better golf with only 5 clubs than most of their clubmembers with a full set.So no chance to get on the course for me.

Brilliant place for family holidays. On the amazing Gary Player Golf Estate. The course is beautifully laid out, and the facilities are top class. Inside the estate you find a massive gym, swimming pool, games rooms for kids, a play park, and a club house with a fantastic restaurant. The estate is situated 10min from the beach, and 5min from Langebaan mall and town. Staff and security are super friendly. If you are lucky youll spot some tortoises and various species of birds. Perfect for a getaway, and only 1.5 hours outside of Cape Town. 5 stars from me!

Golfing here in busy periods should be avoided if you can. The lack of a starter on the 1st tee and no form of course marshalling on course ensures that n round of golf will take you 7 hours to complete.

I never got tired spending weekends in Langebaan. A very good course I never got tired of playing, West Coast people are the best, and a few great places to eat along the coast/bay.
