Terrible attitudes by owner Schalk, greens are non existent. no maintenance, use to be a huge fan of going there, however my last experience was extremely discouraging and embarrassing. R70 for a 9 hole? no thanks... I am huge fan of supporting the community but not when people have such terrible attitudes.

Nice wee mashie course with some interesting challenges. Mein host Schalk is a gentleman of note and always welcoming. Love playing there.

A beautiful, well kept put-put for all ages, 16 holes fun for youngsters and challenging for parents alike. Went on a Tue and was no other players on the course. Afterwards went for lovely meal at Bossa

A great par3 mashie experience. A lot of reviews seem to be confuzzling the restaurant next door (bossa nova) with the mashie golf course (not part of the restaurant). In cape towns summer its super hard and fast, in winter much more forgiving. But always fun to play. With cape towns usual wind conditions, its a great balance between a mashie course and something more 👍🏼

Such a nice mashy course to play on. Oldish lady at the front was very nice and had a great game for the first time.

Very nice little double 9 Mashie course, Ill give it a 4 star because its well kept nice greens and friendly service, I would recommend they change the pin markers on the holes as it seems to create abit of confusion in the middle where 4 holes play to three pins, the Tee boxes are felt but nice for beginners to practice getting under the ball to improve their game.I will be going to play there more often

Always good popping in at this mashie.... Staff are friendly and welcoming. The greens werent at their best today but still decent. Its understandable due to the restrictions on golf only being lifted yesterday.

What an interesting course where you share 9 holes. Course was fun especially for what I deem myself as a first timer havent hit a ball in years.There is a restaurant which has both smoking and non smoking. They were quite strict on the by law for only serving alcohol after 11am.Food is good and inexpensive. Decent and well maintained restaurant.

Great par 3 course... Pity im not better at golf, but still fun to play! Super friendly owners and staff!

The restaurant makes its a really nice place. However if you not super accurate you will spend the day finding your ball. The course needs some work. If you looking for a tea off with a green to aim for then this is the place. If you want more forgiveness with better fairways then go to riverside.

Great for a quick round and testing short game.Clean but fairways could use some attention. Overall good experience and a nice cold drink at Bossa afterwards.

There are too many flies around you when trying to hit the ball honestly best part of the day was the beers after the round. But staff was good!

R100 for 18 holes isnt really worth it. Greens are in decent condition but playing the same holes twice for that price isnt worth it for me.. wont be going back anytime soon

I visited here on a warm sunny day and enjoyed a cool drink whilst meeting someone. Its a calm relaxed atmosphere sitting outside in the fresh air watching the golfers play.

If you dont get onto the rough close to the green on your first shot, your ball is gone. Good for a experienced player. Too unforgiving for a beginner or casual player.

Very reasonably priced mashie golf course . A par three course . Pensioners discount and junior golfer discount applied.Excellent for improving your short game . The greens were in an excellent condition considering the lack of water.The rough was very rough and many balls went missing (time wasting) But when theres water then the ball would be in the water and no time needed to look for a drowned ball .My only concern is the size of the course is small and means that golfers are all ways in the way of other golfers be they putting , driving or midway betweenThoroughly enjoyed myself .Very friendly person at the signing in desk .

Although very small, it has a fair level of difficulty. Greens are very fast and artificial grass tee boxes are not conducive to simulating real course conditions.

Now known as Bossa. Awesome place. Really taking off and the food is good. The only think missing is a bit of live background music.

Went there to play, super rude staff, also you need your own golf set to play on this mashie course. No gear to hire, thats fine, but there is no need to be rude about it. Act like its a pro golf course or something. Its basically a put put course for adults, but who ever helped us really didnt want us there.
