Id really would love to give a great review for someone who lives just down the road and I must admit that my gate problem was fixed quickly ... BUT I was shocked by the unfriendly and arrogant treatment I got when I didnt have the cash on hand to make immediate payment for the call out fee. I asked for EFT details but quickly got made to feel guilty for not having cash on hand and soon got drawn into an unfortunate argument about whether or not I had been made aware of the cash only policy. I delivered the necessary cash a few hours later after taking a trip to the local ATM but have since been left feeling very disillusioned about the lack of attention to basic customer service and respect.

I have been using LHV since 2011. I have had 3 driveway gates made up and installed, 2 garage doors made up and installed, a pedestrian gate, boundary fencing, a balcony balustrade, and an amazing automatic sliding deck pool cover. I have never had any problems with Andrew and his company and can highly recommend him! Fantastic workmanship and excellent quality.

Poor and rude service. Abrupt and unfriendly - and average installation - wires and receiver box just left hanging from a wire and roof supports angled (due to old longer track length which they removed) and quite loose - apparently they are supposed to be like this according to their installation manager.On top of this they seemed more interested in payment than whether or not we were happy with the work performed.We have twice requested a receipt (for tax purposes) from them - and this morning we received a hostile phone call from the owner saying you have the invoice so that should suffice - and that she would send it when she had time. Rude after sales service if you could call it that.No phone call to ask if we were happy with the work performed.Follow up feedbackWe have now received a payment receipt and a phone call from the Installation manager apologising for their heated response.

I would highly recommend LHV Garage doors & gates.I called Andrew about my very old door, the cable had snapped. He made a plan to come out to me within a few hours, as it was a security risk and I couldnt get my car out. His team were friendly and very efficient, they checked over my whole door and motor before leaving.

Please do not make use of LHV Garage Doors and Gates!!Thursday(08/12/16) I first called LHV Garage Doors and Gates and spoke to a person named Andrew, requesting a quote to supply and install both my garage and gate motors and when he would be available to install the motors.Andrew then told me he must first call his office and find out when the next available spot is. He then called me back and we verbally agreed to an appointment telephonically which was dated for Tuesday(13/12/16), he still told me his guys will be at my premises between 9am-10am. He ask me then if I can just WhatsApp him pictures of the gates and my address, when I have time to do so which I did and never even got a reply from him. I then called him Tuesday morning(13/12/16) to confirm times, when Andrew told me no its not on his list and he can only do it next year 2017.I was so furious at LHV Garage Doors and Gates as we had an appointment and I made plans for someone to be at my house because I had to be at work. So I went onto there companies Facebook page and gave them a POOR REVIEW(which they removed).Minutes after I gave them a poor review, I received a call from LAURA WOLF the OWNER of LHV Garage Doors and Gates and was extremely rude by swearing at me and judging me by the area in which I reside.Is this the way to speak to a potential client???
