Generally nice but the 021 number is not working, it is 9am and I want to place a order. But no answer, phone just dies. Makes it inconvenient. I used to live that side and always got the savoury rolls, but now I dot live that aide so Im nit gonna drive all that way if they dont have it.

Good service, no queue, fresh chelsea buns with lots of raisins. I dont like a large supermarket, i like to get what i need and leave. This quikspar also has a sensible butchery section with small, inexpensive packs that suit my small household

Great for any basic food and things you need. I wouldnt do a full one grocery shop there as they dont have a wide range of stock. They are super convenient if you need the odd supply quickly.

I have been using this Spar for some time now as I enjoy their hours, but I AM NOW GATVOL because this is now the 3rd time Ive been there only to be told that the B-Smart is not working. The first time I accepted it and the following day phoned Cape Consumers to ensure that there was no problem from their side. No problem. Does not even register that I had tried to use card there. Waited a week and returned there. Went to till with a basket full of goods for 2nd time. Same thing. I asked to see the manager. She contacted their head office and came back and said they had changed banks but Head Office said it would be sorted. Today I went there again and decided to ask cashiers first if it was now working, to which they replied no, head office said they dealing with it. This is over almost a month. I would now like an apology from them or I will take the matter further. This is just not good enough. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. D Thompson.

It is convenient. Staff generally friendly at the tills and on the floor. Recently expanded their take away/lunch outlet. Which is good for beach snacks. As a local it is an expensive only option in the area though. Next stop Long beach Mall or Fish hoek.

My favourite grocery store to pop into on my way home from work. No parking problems, friendly helpful cashier ladies, regular specials, delicious baked goods and food to go. Oh, and a selection of wines. What more could a working girl ask for?

Most disgusting experience this morning. Very unhelpful and obnoxious cashier! Greeting was you have a bag. No assistance with packing, simply sat staring at me struggling. When I asked for help she told ME I have a problem! Still does not offer to assist. Her constant backchat caused me to unpack my basket and throw my stuff on the counter. Cashier just sat laughing at me! Realise there is competition in the valley now. I went to Pick and Pay Harbour Bay and had no problems. You guys need to up ypur game! !!!

Spar in Harare is better. bad selection of goods, food made on site is really not great and super oily. Ive bought expired meat twice from here. Also the staff are not the friendliest or most organised people. It always takes a good 5-10min of standing around waiting for a staff member to weigh vegetables, weighing stations at the tills is recommended.

No cashback facility like other Spars. Otherwise it has some decent quality meat, and the bakery is pretty nice.

A nice little market where we shopped when we first arrived in Glencairn. Friendly service and had what we needed. Even during black out, the market has its own generator / power back up.

Its the worst Spar I have ever been to. They dont do cash back and 99%of the time they never have stock. Their variety of stock is pathetic. You dont have a choice and most of the time they dont have what you need. Dont know why they bother staying open. Shocking.

Lovely friendly neighbourhood shop!Great bakery, especially the bread: its like cake! 😋Staff are smart and very efficient!Unfortunately just witnessed one of the managers stub out their cigarette (that they were smoking about three metres from the open door) and leave the butt on the ground!!! 😠 And then proceed to walk past at least three rubbish bins! 🤔This is the second time I’ve witnessed a staff member dumping their cigarette butt on the ground right next to the rubbish bins! Littering is not only selfish, inconsiderate and stupid, but illegal too!

Well stocked and convenient but quite pricey.

Visiting at noon today was rather disappointing. Stocks are very low. The meat counter had a few packs only- some meat was red, some off colour! I gave it a miss. No hot chips again. Cheese only for the the big spenders huge expensive blocks. Large yogurt only in full cream. Spare a thought for the lower income group in these times & cater for all. I do believe.your butchery should be closed until you can supply fresh looking meat. OR maby someone.else could improve on this strore!

This is the closet shop I can get from my workplace and the bakery side of this shop is a horror . I just bought an expensive pizza and the thing had a rock hard base with tiny cheese melted on top. it must have been from a week ago and this is not the 1st time I have encountered this.

Dirty, dark and dingy. Not enough stock. Owner seems not to care. Complaints sent to Head Office go unanswered. I suggest going around the corner to Pick n Pay at Harbour Bay Mall.
