Lovely place to shop. And wouldve shopped much more, if the securities werent making it blatantly obvious that they were following me around the store. And yes I know theyre only doing their job and maybe I do look suspicious but the store was empty, it just opened. You couldnt had more class about it and not litteraly almost bumping into me... Twice. still gave you 4 stars though

Often a line at checkout and shop is always busy. Not my go-to Foodlovers but was in the area. Bought a Spinach and Feta foccacia and when I opened it at home there was a broken shard of plastic (from those price/item signs) Staff are all friendly and helpful though. Quality of products Id say is okay.

Food lovers Market N1 City. Very good deals and always friendly staff. Fruit and vegetables are really delicious But unfortunately on Friday 03 Sep 21 we purchased Prepacked Biltong packs spiced and ready to hung.. When we opened the packet there was not a nice smell coming from the meat....needless to say it ended up in the waste bin. Will think twice in buying that again. Unfortunately it was to late (store was closed) and a inconvenience to drive back.Many many thanks to Warren and Thendai for rectifying the problem that we encountered. After this letter they got back to me same day and apologized for the inconvenience. It was a pleasure to go back to Food Lovers Market and be treated with such special care. We are really enjoying shopping time at Food Lovers. Will Highly recommend them to friend and family. 5 Stars for your guys. Well done.

The layout of this store basically drives everyone to the back of the store where they all end up standing in queues... butchery and bakery and tellers are all clustered in the same area... doesnt work well for smooth traffic flow.... avoid this food lovers if you can, or try to visit out of peak trade hours as the layout translates to long queues, aisles you cant easily navigate, and tight fitting spaces... overall produce range and selection is acceptable, instore experience is terrible

Prices are good but the quality is very poor. Buy today and off the next day, thats how their specials are. Will rather spend a bit more for good quality. Wont be going there again.

Always good deals, except their chilli bites price is R550 per kg which is almost double the price, but the rest if their biltong is very nice at a good price.

Excellent variety of fruits and veggies. Ive never seen a queue move so fast. It was a good shopping experience. Ill be shopping at Foodlovers from here onwards

This is the 3rd time I experienced the price on the selves differ when it is ringed up at till. Example sardines on selves R17.99. At till Scanned R22.99. Otherwise a very clean store and friendly staff.

Its okay. But the queue is way too long for this time of the day and month. Bought sushi. Wasnt good. Rather tasteless. Soy was salty and Wasabi was weak. The ginger tasted funny. Couldnt get it down. I assume it was off or had a flavour added to it maybe. Not sure but it wasnt edible. Overall I might get some veggies here but the food is a no go for me

FLM is a favourite food shopping venue. Always good specials available. And on a Thursday just before lunch the store is empty so its a quick in-and-out. Having said that, even when there is a queue, it moves very fast because they have an extremely effective checkout system.

I definitely love this place,you could never go wrong with food lovers. I go to this one cause its very close to where I live.but there is alot so just find one that is close to you. But definitely good place to shop for vegetables and fruits.

Occasionally I shop at Food Lovers Market, today was 1 of those occasions. I liked the freshness of the produce, the layout of the shop, the prices is very reasonable, much more economical than most grocery stores, did not want to mention names, however I was surprised and shocked they were not More Halaal conscious, 50% of the clients at the store was Muslim Islam, they need to divide the fridges between Halaal and unHalaal for balance and to show diversity.The bakery goods was really fresh and tasty.The queues to pay went very quick.All in all I shopped and paid within 1 hour. Good experience

Why is this place overrated? My wife wanted to check for cooking bananas and ended up buying coconuts. All four of them have gone off and had to be thrown away.If something like this happens once, I guess its acceptable, but the last time a couple of eggs from the 18 I bought were just aged to almost having a chick in.The only thing is the range of things you can choose from; at least to still go!

Mind blown! I would move to closer to CPT just for this Food Lovers Market. You actually need mental strength not to buy everything, biltong and sweet stuff especially.

More tellers needed most especially now that its month end and people are also stocking up for this two week lockdown which we are currently under. Staff needs to help customers enforce the 2m social distance stickers on the floor on your way to the tills as some people, staff included, ignore that.Other than that, staff is great at the fish and butchery counter. Produce is fresh. In store specials are very much appreciated.They have octopus at this store for those who are looking for some. As well as snoek and hake kuiter which I discovered yesterday.

Good, revamped, easy access from the entrance. But, I am still challenged with entrance being on different side from exit. That is one has to first park the car close to exit and walk arround for an entrance.

Fresh new look with spacious aisles has given it the lift it needed. Staff very helpful and always plenty of staff on the tills so waiting time is never long to pay and leave. Quality and display of the fruit, veggies, meats and dairy well laid out and clean.

Lots of varieties, I am surprised to see that they started to sell some foreign vegetables too! Its great to have more selections of vegetables for the family! The staff at the store is also very friendly.

Cheap. But sometimes fruit and veg out of fridge and next day already not as good. But great specials on meat and food. That has never been a let down.

I bought Kudu billing that tastes so awful. it appears it has been kept in the fridge for too long it has lost all the flavor and aroma, only salt is left. this is the worst biltong I have ever had. dont be fooled by appearance. they should focus on fruits and vegetables and leave butchery alone.

A fantastic store thatbis well stocked and super clean. Everything is nicely displayed. The bakery is awesome, deli and hot food inviting. The queue was extremely long but it moved very swiftly. This store is situated at Value City and has wheelchair accessible parking and entrance

Witnessing one of you supervisory staff shouting at a supplier merchandising in your store, whilst having a work related conversation, regarding your store, with another supervisor from your store. How embarrassing. She shouted to remove the vehicle from your recieving bay. Absolutely inappropriate and total disrespectful. This elderly gentleman was fixing your Ina Paarman stock. Your floor was soaked with water...

I have visited this store every weekend for the last 4 weeks and they never have Thomas cutlery available. Better go to another shop if you have complete cards..they will tell you next week as always. Also last week they didn’t even mark all of there specials. Customers had to shop with cell phones open to view the specials. The 2 staff members I asked about it is probably still looking for the supervisor.

They make the best Panini bread rolls, there meat is also of a very high quality!!....The shop is large and very convenient to shop at as they also sell groceries and other necessary food stuff and fresh produce!.....TODAY:- 7th June 2017.....Storm Day for Cape Town but it was worth the risk to whip out in the storm to grub 2 cups of Thick bodied warming Insidiously Delicious Broth Soup! The butternut was thick cream-ii and almost as sweet as honey and the thick full bodied veg soup filled with all the goodness and barley reminding me of the days when my mother made soup for us on a cold winters day....Awesome and worthwhile experience again of the goodness to be found in this store!........

I always come to but the hot chips and they were fresh and crispy but now all of a sudden they do the chips in the morning when you around past 1 they give the hot chips they did in the morning...this is not on
