Just came across this farm somewhat randomly. While waiting for someone, parked and strolled over to the farm area, fed some chickens, and observed beautiful gardens, horses, and sheep. Looks like there was a cafe, and we walked around a small, rustic, intimate farm store. A great way to spend a couple hours on a sunny, breezy afternoon. We need to return and explore more of the grounds.
Whole family visits a must. Chickens, horses, Alpacas. Delicious fresh produce from the farm. Great coffee shop and restaurant. Clay and paint classes and evenings. Events place opening sometime. Accommodation. Just outside Durbanville
What a hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful destination. The owners can be very proud on their establishment. An excellent venue for private functions. Worth a regular visit!!
My friend and I absolutely adore this place. From the great food on offer to the garden and farm shop, this place pretty much has it all. Its kid friendly and there are plenty of animals for the kids to go and view....even a baby alpaca called Grace. I woul just say that the entrance road need to be worked on, but overall we love this place. In the farm shop they sell homemade ciabatta that is to die for and not expensive at all. They also offer organic produce, accommodation, kids parties and functions. If you have never been, do yourself a favour and go. I have included photos of my previous 2 trips in this review.
Expected better. Food, although not bad, was not worth the price I paid. And why dont you have bacon? Wont visit again.
The farm market was nice but the produce not up to standard. The latte was served in a small paper cup whilst sitting at the table which was more expensive than one would expect. The food was also not enjoyable unfortunately. The waiter was polite. The red cappuccino was nothing more than rooibos tea with warm milk.
Our Place Restaurant at Anna Beulah is wonderful.....Barend and his team deliver delicious food with friendly efficiency....and the venue is beautiful ♡
Flies are out of control on the farm. Furniture not safe to sit on, ie chairs for the table. Overpriced accommodation.
An absolutely beautiful place for a family togetherness the food and staff are absolutely amazing definitely a 20 star must go place to go
Was honestly sooo lovely. My little girl had loads of fun and everyone is supper friendly and so helpful. Would recommend this lovely farm to anyone and the food is really nice... Would have given them 10 stars if this app would have allowed me.. Definitely coming back for more adventures
This venue is great for the entire family. They have a great restaurant, petting farm for the kids and pottery classes. The even have picnic areas and markets on specific days. They have a vegetable market as well.
Been to this lovely place since beginning of lockdown and every time it is a wonderful, peaceful, tranquil experience wirh lovely food and super friendly service. Their pies are also fabulous as takeaway meals. Will continue to enjoy and support these lovely people.
What a delight! If you need to stock up on your organic vegies, farm fresh produce or want to support your local farmers, this is a must stop. The dew fresh vegies are picked right in front of you, and the lovely Rita and Fabian are so helpful, friendly and so proud of the produce. And there are ducks, and a lama, and lots of butterflies 😍I visited during lock down to avoid the crowds in the shops and get the freshest vegies.
Best farm experience for kids that I have come across. The children were taken on a tour of the animals by very nice guide by the name of Mike. They were able to not only feed the chickens, horses, alpacas and sheep, but also to actually interact with the animals, collect the chicken eggs and hold the bunnies. We did not see the donkeys as they were too far out in the fields. The service is excellent and the managers are very friendly and create a relaxed atmosphere. The Anatolian shepherd dog is the most passive, friendly dog you could possibly meet, despite his huge size. They do not have card facilities, so payment is by cash, EFT or Snapscan
Simple, honest food served in a relaxed farmstyle ambiance. Made with love and ethically sourced from the farm and other pesticide free farms.
Stunning part of the world behind the Durban ville hills with views of farmland and rolling hills. We went there for pre-booked fathers Day breakfast. It was ok at best.Somewhat unconventional, the people are friendly but unfortunately the restaurant and breakfast just didnt quite live up to expectations for me, the food was alright but the atmosphere in the restaurant itself, despite the friendly deamenour of the chef and waiters, it felt a bit dark, claustaphobic and stiff - I cant quite put my finger on it but Id suggest cleaning out much of the clutter and brightening up the restuarant more. The farm area was nice though for the kids and we did a tour of the farm after for R50 per child. Our 1 and 9 year old enjoyed interacting with the Alpacos, horses chickens and bunnies. They also had a very tiny market but unfortunately it was pretty empty at around 12 when we left - only time will tell if they manage to grow it.The woman on the phone when my wife called to book the R140 per head breakfast was rather offish and almost on the rude side, almost demanding to know where my wife got her number from, as if she is below taking petty restuarant booking calls - hello, that number is on your Facebook page. With some tweaks they can really make this an amazing place and I hope they do and wish them well.
Breathtaking views of Table Mountain, plenty of animals including springbok and alpacas as well as a lovely deli and farm shop.
Fantastic organic farm with lovely views of table mountain and the sea, believe their cottages are a great experience.
Only bought fresh vegetables and eggs. Outstanding quality.
