So get this,I walked into this store needing assistance with a TV that I was interested in, asked the guy what the difference between 2 TVs were and he didnt have much knowledge on the finer details I was expecting to hear & just said : Quallity... You dont say Mr Obvious with a stinking attitude - then continued on chatting on his phone thinking that Im just asking questions to waste his time.The moment I told him I wanted a specific TV, his entire attitude and demeanor changed and suddenly became so enthusiastic and helpful - actually made me cringe.It seems that 80% of staff working at Incredible Connection are rather incompetent and rather clueless of what products are around them and have ZERO useful information about products.You people need to employ staff that actually know what they are talking about and better attitude towards customers.

Poor service from staff. Lot of standing around without much customer focus. I came in for one item specifically, but it took me about 40 minutes before I was able to get out the door.The staff first left me waiting on the floor, clearly more interested in their own discussion over helping customers. After this I was asked to wait for about 20 minutes in a queue behind a return that was being conducted because it was the only till taking cash. The till worker saw it easier to let me wait a further 20 minutes for the return to conclude before I put my foot down. After this they were somehow able to cancel the return and see to my sale - why they couldnt do that 10 minutes earlier remains a mystery.

I have experienced the worst customer experience at this store. They are great at making a sale, great with product knowledge until you experience a problem.I purchased a laptop from them 2 months ago and it gave me a problem. I booked it into the store more than 2 and half weeks ago and I have had to follow-up with the store and technicians constantly. Nobody is forthcoming nor proactive with feedback and updates. I dont think they realize how much people rely on connectivity especially now. I rely on that machine to generate an income and there has been no effort from their side to expedite my request or help me further.

I am absolutely disgusted by the pathetic customer service at the Canal Walk branch. I I purchased a laptop from them on 12 June 2021 and on 8 June 2021 I brought the laptop in as it had a defect on the LCD during use.After nearly a month, and despite a Google Review, a review on Hellopeter and more than 10 phonecalls to the store begging for feedback, I am no closer to having the device replaced nor refunded. I have had to chase the store for feedback weekly which is ridiculous as this device was paid for in full. From the store manager who doesnt even have the courtesy to take a call, to staff and technicians, their post sale service is pathetic! They can give no useful feedback - everything is pinned to the supplier. So they actually sell and then step back when there is a problem! From a 2 to 3 week timeframe to process a warranty claim, the goalposts have shifted to another week. During all this time, no concrete feedback!After my Google Review, I received a call from the technician who asked me not to call them again as they would call me when they have feedback. I thought this type of attitude is appalling. I paid for the device and I am entitled to know what is going on with the item. I said to the technician that after their poor service I would rather have a refund on the defective product. They would not communicate with me in writing, they do not follow up nor provide feedback.One would expect more proactive customer service during this time with more people relying on technology to make a living from home. There is absolutely no care for the customer post a sale. There is no way I would ever purchase anything from this store again! Refund my money and I will take my business elsewhere!

Firstly, when purchasing my Xbox none of employees could advise me of how to get the game pass activated on my pc.In fact they did not know that the contract states that it comes with it. Secondly the lady advised she will email the slip to us however we still have not received anything. Thirdly, they even forgot to give the contract sim card for the dongle how unprofessional.I ended up call incredible connection Cavendish to help me out with getting the game pass sorted as IC canal walk couldnt even advise me over the phone either. Highly dissatisfied.

I would have given 5 stars (for the quick and easy exchange I had to do) but the attitude I got from one of the people working in the store when I asked him to put his mask/snood back on was DISGUSTING. He barely even put the mask/ snood on. He even helped a customer while not wearing the mask/ snood. And when I walked passed the shop again 30mins later, it was off again. No stars if it was possible. RULES ARE RULES FOR A REASON!!!!

The Technical support guy helped me a lot and he was very patient. The rest of the staff(young people) are loud and busy doing their own personal stuff. A manager had to ask them to be quiet. He also had to ask them to get off the floor display computer.

I would say I would like the staff to be more knowledgeable on the items they sell in the store...its more attractive to customers if they know the product specifications. I went in and asked about a specific product after already kind of knowing the product but the sales person blatantly said out he doesnt know anything about it. I give him credit for his honesty.

People at the store are sleeping on there feet, Ive experienced this on multiple occasions.I did a lap of the store and not one person asked if I needed help. Then they told me the item I needed was in the stock room and made me wait 10 minutes to get it.

Do not look for stock on the website as it shows broken stock taken back as in stock and when you get there they explain the website shows wrong stock and thats it. I do not recall selling broken goods at full retail as good business practice or advertising we have stock but on arrival its broken. Highly disappointed. Takealot will gain customers....

Incredible connection had an promo on their website, prompting me to go to the store/s whom had stock. 480GB SSD drive at R599. 2 other stores honoured the promo, however Canal walk refused, even though I showed them the online promo ..Immediately as I walked out their store, suddenly the national promo also ended, despite the fact that the site showed the promo was due to end in October 2021 only.. See proof attached..... Unethical and dishonest

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. Oh Incredible Connection! You never fail to disappoint! Im 30 years old now, and ever since I was a kid, Incredible Connection was THE WORST computer store with THE WORST customer service imaginable. I thought Id give then a try again now, thinking that surely their Canal Walk store woukd be different. But alas! Nationally poor. I have been trying to apply for a credit application now for 3 days in a row, every day waiting for no less than an hour, but still no approval. Im officially never making use of Incredible Connection ever again.

I bought something that was wrong and went back the following day to change it. The staff were supper UNHELPFUL. The first person I asked for help from could bearly speak to me, then turned around and walked away. The second person had to get the technical staff member who then helped me. We went to change the item at the pay counter and it took 3 staff members to work the computer. All this while the guy next to me loosing his cool as his ordered items took over a week to arrive from jhb and then was still not processed at the cw branch when he was told it was ready to collect. NOT recommended, I wont go back.

Really unhelpful staff dont buy anything here. Bought a macbook pro for R26000. You have to fill in forms in order to get your warranty. But first they did not want to assist me. When they did they said they sent it in but I never received a follow up. Did it by myself a 2nd time and never got a confirmation...Went in store again and asked for help but they just told me to do it online again which clearly does not work.Really bad service please go somewhere else and trust all the other bad reviews for Incredible connection. Its not just this store its their entire chain that is useless.

Part of this review is for Incredible Connection as a whole and specifically online orders. Do not order online from these guys. Youll pay for something and receive a message you have to still pay for it hence you never receive a collection confirmation. Just cause a whole back and forth issue. The status on the site will say ready for collection but then its not (you can phone and theyll say come in and we can get it sorted but youll just waste your time). The reps dont even know how their payment methods work or even their own credit if you inquire about it.CS so poor, youll be explaining the issue to someone just standing around and hell be telling you okay go to that other guy before you said the first sentence.Just go in and purchase cash/card if you need something else avoid like the plague.

If I could give it a minus score i would. After sales service is atrocious. The so called tech team didnt even bother to assess my machine and it was away for repairs for 2 months to which it came back in a worse state. The new scratches on my machine were blamed on me and they just told me they would have to send it away to be reassessed. I really regret buying anything from them and will never return.

There are many nicknames for incredible connection which many of us know.Well, the last time I bought something from them was in 2008.Service is terrible and majority of the time my queries fall on blank faces as the staff have no idea what Im asking for. Such an example was the raspberry pi. The assistant thought i needed to go to checkers to get a pie. I went straight to Computer Mania and asked the same question to get amazing assistance and knowledge of the product.There are so many better shops with much better prices than incredible connection.If you need assistance installing windows, I can offer my services for free, instead of the somewhat +-R500 I saw at incredible connection which they offered.Dont waste your money and time. Do some research, ask family or friends and yoy will save time and money in doing so.

Only because zero stars was not an option. As a whole, IC is just not interested in their customers. The staff at this store are so rude, unhelpful and just not interested in clients trying to purchase items at the store. You have to stand around for 20 minutes to get service, only after you ask for it as well. Also do not even attempt to visit this store after 5pm as their closing time is at 6pm and they simply wont accomodate you as it will interfere with them leaving at 6pm. I have been told on two occasions I cant be helped as its too late and they closing soon. I then tried to get assistance online to purchase a laptop (a very expensive one in case management decides to read this and do something about it) and still no one has gotten back to me after more than a week. I would rather suggest skipping this store and company as every single time you interact with them you always end up feeling frustrated instead of satisfied.

Very happy with the service. Was on the market for a laptop for my husbands birthday. Ive checked all the other competitors and incredible connection had the biggest selection by far. From entry level to premium. I chose one, cost me R12000. My husband refused to accept it though, he said it was too much. So we came back and they gladly refunded me no questions asked. I did buy a cheaper one for myself though. Lots of staff on duty and a big variety of items to suit all budgets. Thanks again guys.

Twice now Ive called and asked this store whether they had stock of certain items, then explained that I lived far away and asked them to hold out the items for me while I drove over there.Both times I got there only to be told first that they in fact didnt have stock of said items, then (when pushed) admit that they sold my items to other customers just before I arrived.I will not buy anything from them again, and I strongly discourage anyone else from using them either. Rather go to Dion Wired on the other side of the mall for both better service and prices.
