They have an interesting selection of gadgets and Ive always enjoyed looking and making the odd purchase. However a fair amount is not good quality at all, and after purchasing defective headphones I discovered that they have a draconian return policy whereas even a copy/photo of the receipt is not sufficient for a refund, but only the original receipt, although they agreed that they have their own records of the purchase. Its barely worth my time and effort to actually process the refund which means I will not be taking another chance on them.

Staff are rude and unfortunately incompetent. Products are not great and sometimes have misleading packaging (HDMI 1.4 labelled as 2.0). Great store if youre looking for novelty items and memorabilia, but dont expect friendly staff who can answer questions about their products.

This is one of my favorite shops in Cape Town. My friend got me an Akatsuki coat with a bunch of props and they all are good quality. He told me the staff was friendly and just when he entered they asked him if he wanted help with anything. Great staff great products and great quality.

The cashier was very nice and at tge entrance the helped me, I bought a kakazu ring, pikachu key chain and also a naruto necklace they had amazing gadgets

I wanted to purchase six similar products. The manager interrigated me as to what i wanted them for. Then he proceeded to shake his head and got angry and said he will get a warning if i return any thing...???? He made me feel so embarrest in front of the other staff and customers and i asked him several times if i could please just purchase the items! According to the returns policy i can return within 7 days if it is still in original packaging and i have the slip. He made me feel like a criminal for BUYING items in his shop.Oh, and he still said if i dont see him there next week its my fault.....

Poor service, with poor quality products. I went to the store and politely talked to one of the the staff member and he started yelling at me for nothing. I really recommend staying away from the store and even if you have to pay for more at another store it would still be worth it.

Affordable goods,but may not be the best quality. The most recent item I bought did not work at all - easily returned it and got a refund. They have a 14day cash back refund policy. I seriously think you should test the items you sell to see if it works. Especially because you sell Chinese imports.They have a wide variety of cellphone covers and glass screen protectors, which is affordable. I would only recommend them for this.

I spend almost a thousand rand every time I visit. Sorry for you but I will not be visiting anymore. Your gel cover is a con, on the day the guy assured me it was better than glass, but it starts coming off after 3 months? Then when i go back to the store they THEN tell you there is no guarantee.

The funny thing is,is that most the people here are karens dont listen to them my dad is friends with the owner and whenever i go there they give excellent service dont listen to the people who talk nonsense about your store -weeb

Ive spent R900 on screen protectors and phone covers. The glass ones didnt sit then they told me to rather go with the gel ones because its indistructable.. This too came loose and the phone covers dont sit properly. Is there anything that can be done about this? I dont necessarily want a refund just for the mistake to be rectified please? My kids and wife are unhappy with what they got from your store

Bought one screen protector for samsung galaxy note 10+ but wasn’t put on properly and went back the next day and the guy was extremely rude as he was doing a favour. never visiting again

We visited the shop on Saturday. I was looking for a flash drive for my brothers daughter and I decided on a hello Kitty 8GB. The guy that helped me tested the display to see if it was a 8GB or a 4GB. I heard the one at the cash register tell him its a 4GB, but when he gave it to me it was in a tin with a 8GB sticker. When I went to pay the guy confirmed that it was a 8GB. When I got home it was only a 4GB. We live 350km from Cape Town, so I cant take it back!! I dont mind the money its just about R30, but its the principle!! And yes, there are LOTS of people that work there but it seems they are really not keen on helping. I wish I could get paid to just stand around and look bored!

This store seems great at first- a selection of tech and accessories at reasonable prices, along with friendly staff. Just dont buy anything on sale and then try to return it... The policy is no refunds and the staff do not make this clear when youre buying (I was told there was no guarantee on the cover I bought because it was on sale).

Have the coolest stuff. Always get asked if I need any help or if they can help with anything. I love going into Gadget Time and sometime go out of my way just to visit the store to see what theyve got.

These guys are awesome they have memorabilia of anime .....anime!!! lots of gadgets and lots of electronics phone covers screen protectors and lots and lots more, take some time and go see for your self especially if you love anime.

Although the staff dont know much about the products theyre selling, they have really cool accessories as well as a few unique anime items and figurines.. Really fun shop to be in and geek out

My experience in dealing with this store has been bad in general, yes they got tech thats cool but try return an item that only lasted week after purchase, the rudeness of the staff making me believe that its because of my own negligence has gotten me riled up to the point that I will never return to this store, regardless of how much I dig the gear, the tech, Ill do without the R1000, but they lost a fan forever...
