I have seen Dr Asmal twice in the past few years; after being misdiagnosed by the GP. Both times she identified the issues correctly, immediately; she prescribed a comprehensive treatment regime that worked quickly and effectively. She is no-nonsense and caring. She encouraged me to follow up with her weekly via WhatsApp and replied when I needed feedback. Exceptional care and support. I recommend her highly. Thank you Dr Asmal. Dr Asmal is absolutely lovely! Her open manner immediately sets you at ease and she expounds her clinical reasoning, which I really appreciated. Im so thankful my google search lead me to her! Look no further if you need a dermatologist :)

My first time going to a dermatologist and Dr Asmal made it a great experience. Lovely and friendly doctor. She gave me thorough instructions about how to manage my condition and Im happy with the outcome.

I had mild- medium acne, she told me straight that I should go on Roaccutane. I said no because it is such an invasive drug and is more for people with severe stubborn acne where other meds have not worked for them. Roaccutane should be the last option not the first. She is not very empathetic, its more of come lets just get done process with her. She substantiates prescribing Roaccutane by saying patients must take that so that it does not come back, which says that she impatient and does not really care about the well-being of her patients. Roaccutane has major side effects, and should not just be prescribed carelessly. Patients pay a lot for a consultation, she should then convey herself and provide a service of the worth of the consultation fee. Highly do not recommend.

If you are bringing a young child to have her seen at this practice, I suggest you walk back out the door. This dr has absolutely no emotional intelligence or empathy whatsoever and thats an understatement. I went to her for a follow up visit with my daughter, and my daughter started screaming hysterically obviously because she was traumatized by the previous session. She not only screamed at my daughter, but also stormed out of the room. If I there was zero stars then I would rather give her that. Never coming back.

Efficient and friendly - but straight forward enough to tell you how it is.Caring, very professional and full of care and provides advice on product suggestions to help you and your skin.She knows when it is time to escalate a situation and her recommendation in my situation proved to be a life-saver for me.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Asmal as well as the staff members. I was so nervous because Ive never been to a dermatologist before and was/is very insecure about my issues, but not once did I receive any indication that I should feel ashamed or sorry for it. Dr Asmal is caring and thorough in her examinations. She often goes beyond the call of duty to help and care for her patients and twice has given me a freebie appointment. Chatty with a wonderful bed side manner.

Service rendered was very disappointing. I was told during consultation, There is nothing I can do for you. You hould have gone to a Beautician. I was prescribed a Ben Zac gel and cream. I informed the Dermatologist that I had previously used Ben Zac gel and it caused a rash. She responded by saying, Ya, that can cause a rash but this is not for your neck its for your back.

Its just about the money! Dr Asmal is friendly, but as she was running late and people piling up at reception I was in and out before I knew it. I have full understanding of doctors running late. What I dot not agree is telling her my other medical conditions and being prescribed a shampoo that I should not use at all! Luckely I red the pamplet before I used it, where it states do not use if you have the following conditions! This was exactly what I told her during consultation and it would have severely effected my health! I contacted her and shared the information, with only a reply that I would be refunded only for the shampoo if I bring the receipt and product to her office! So now I have to be a currier service too! No further effort was made to assist me with my innitial problem. Save yourself the time, money, effort and go somewhere else!
