My fiancé and I went here to view the venue and we were beyond impressed by both the physical venue as well as Samantha (the on-site wedding coordinator). She has been in the game for 15 years at this place and clearly knew what she was doing and how to make the bride feel so special. In addition, because of her years of experience at this venue she has built connections to florist, makeup artist, photographers and even officiants that she can recommend to you. She is also very respectful of budgets and has a lot of knowledge on how to make a wedding that suits your personal budget. The venue itself is gorgeous and intimate. It really is a garden ceremony that transports you out of the city while you’re there while still maintaining the wonderful location. The original buildings are still there which provides a rustic feel but the interior is still quite nice and homey. We also were able to drive to the beach with only a two minute drive. A spectacular place!

Stunning setting, big spacious rooms, incredible breakfast, superb service from the owner and staff. Short walking distance to the farm village and Noordhoek common. A stay at Sacred Mountain Lodge is well worth every cent.

I recently attended my brothers wedding at Sacred Mountain Lodge. The moment I stepped in, I was mesmerized by the beautiful greenery!The staff were so helpful during the wedding, be it with the catering or helping out with a few details.There is a peace surrounding this lodge, with the chirping birds, the sound of the water trickling, and the trees rustling in the breeze.Overall, it was a magical experience and a beautiful venue. Couldnt have imagined anything better ❤️

Our wedding took place at Sacred Mountain Lodge on 08 May 2021. What a beautiful day this was! Myself as the bride didnt have to worry about a thing. As I left the bridal suite, everything looked magical. Samantha, the event planner and owner of SML had everything under control. The staff were on point with serving the canapés and food. While the photographer was capturing images of myself and the groom the staff came to serve us as well and brought our drinks and just the kindness which radiated from each one of them is what made our experience so lovely. They gave everyone a welcoming experience and the only thing that I can complain about is that the time went by too quick. Thank you to Samantha and her team for giving us the most amazing wedding day! We will definitely see you guys soon ♥

There really are better places than this in Noordhoek. I attended an event and must say, the fake grass looks cheap. There is a dodgy unlocked cottage, which may have been a spa. Unlocked, open and not safe for kids. Really smelly old cottages, that reek of dust, the food was average too. Typical buffet food. Pizzas as nice for the kids though. The place needs an upgrade but the staff, really nice and friendly people. Not sure about the owner, we did not see her once....thrre are alot of little places where people can get hurt especially kids. Please upgrade the place. I was looking for a wedding venue and thought this might be it. Its a hard miss for me.

After a long days hike one would hope to come back to a hot shower...alas ! It was not be ..The room was basic....You would be better off living elsewhereNothing worked in the room neither the kettle nor the heater..room unservicedIf you have a choice ..avoid this place ...do yourself aa favour and stay elsewhereI am struggling to find anything positive

Awesome place with GREAT food. We only stayed one night but the friendly and helpfull staff made us feel soo welcome. We also had a great time in their jacuzi tub. We stayed in a cozy one bedroom flatlet with a nice fireplace to keep us warm. The accomadation well kept and is top class.I can recomend this place to anyone.

Very dirty and nothing was available in the self-catering units. We had to ask for everthing. Nothing matches and whatever was in the units were dirty or broken. Not at all that was described on the website and surely not worth the money. A total ripp-off. And there is definitely not a spa and it is not a retreat. Flies, flies everywhere

If you value your money this is not the place to go to. Due to lockdown we could not have our wedding and a year later we being charged for people who cannot attend due to covid regulations. This lady Samantha is a bully in getting all your money. Do not go here. Beautiful place but not worth it!!!!! Samantha is the worst person on the face of the planet. You better off going some place else.

Friendly staff and lovely massage but I was expecting an actual spa environment. We were made to wait on shabby, old couches in a yard with dog chew toys. I can appreciate the homely vibe but the website (And prices) led me to expect something different

What a beutiful venue. My son and new daughters wedding was absolutely flawlessly wonderfull. Thanks to Sam and her hubby who are welcoming hosts that made our family and friends feel at home.

I liked the property and the cleaning staff was very polite. But was not fond of what I thought is the owner. She first scolded me for allowing her dog to sit on the furniture. I was not aware she was not allowed on furniture as I was not informed. And then I was accused of feeding the dog. If you dont want the dogs around your clients, put them at the back.

Food is great and a lovely wedding venue.

We booked this venue for a group basically for the entire premises for a period of almost 3 weeks. Whilst the staff were very friendly, I (as a business owner) found it VERY strange that the owner of the establishment went on holiday herself for most of this period (peak holiday season in South Africa)! Not only that but when they returned it was with visitors and they made full use of the facilities as if it was their private home! This I found most unprofessional as we basically had to share a limited space with the owners private guests and dogs who were quite invasive. When we asked for umbrellas and pool chairs we were told that the owner had take them camping and there were nothing for guests :-O.We had to ask a few times for the pool to be cleaned of leaves so that we could swim. We also had to ask numerous times for the wifi to be reset as we could not access wifi.Considering the drought situation in the Western Cape at the moment I was amazed that other than an A4 paper there was no effort to educate guests as to the water shortages. We had to ask for a bucket for the shower and Im not convinced that water was used appropriately.Whilst we are animal lovers and I have no issue with dogs at the premises, these 3 dogs were not well controlled. The one dog had a serious eye infection and in sympathy with the dog we had to ask them to clean the eye repeatedly. The other two dogs were very large and boisterous dogs and while very sweet, they were constantly trying to take food from the kids or begging at the table, which eventually became very annoying (not to mention intimidating to some of the guests who were afraid of dogs).I think the owners should take more care that their private life does not overlap with paying guests. Overall its a shame as the location is well situated, but the entire place needs updating and a good clean - the sleeper couches could not even be sat on comfortably, limited plates, glasses etc in the self catering, nothing matched, towels were threadbare, no extras, ie shower caps etc, knobs missing of the stove.There is an air of neglect that permeates and if not for the wonderful cleaning staff, this would have been a very unsatisfactory experience.
