Meticulous therapists, clean facilities. I had CBD massage, facial treatment and pedicure and lunch.The therapist applied the perfect pressure. The facial treatment was good as was the pedicure. Lunch was fair. When you arrive early, you can make use of their pool and shower. All in all it was great. I have made another booking .:) Recommended.

Excellent full body aromatherapy massage by Astrid. She listened to all my issues, was so obliging and had great suggestions so that I would get the most out of the experience. Facilities are lovely and I could have easily spent the whole day there. Will definitely go back.Booking process is efficient and professional. Entrance is a bit hidden with poor signage and closest underground parking should be recommended to you to avoid delays.

Just wanted to say that out of all the Swedish massages I have had in my life time... PEZI was the best, really, what a treat. I cannot stop raving about my time spent there today. I am impressed. Its hard to impress me, and wow what a great experience. The floatation pool deprived me of sound and sight, I connected with me again, it was very impressive. The last treat I experienced with the exfoliation salts and mud, sauna and rain forest rains, omw... I felt like I was so connected to nature. Again, very impressed and highly recommended.

Beautiful Spa, absolutely love the design. I have visited a few times during the Covid Phase and I found their Covid Protocols to be strict - which makes one feel safer. The therapists I have seen thus far were great, friendly, welcome and great at what they do. The receptions are warm and friendly when you enter and confirm your arrival. However, they tend to be quite busy and just leave you standing, so I am never sure if I can go sit, or whether I am allowed to drink water or coffee etc. I have also never be shown all the facilities, I am not sure if it is because of Covid, so I am only aware of the facilities from the internet. I appreciate the sms which confirms the booking and the call the day before to confirm the booking. I will definitely visit again because this is the place to go if you need ME Time

The staff is very efficient, friendly and helpful. You get much more than your moneys worth. You can use lots of other facilities such as the pool and steam room. Also a variety of hot and cold drinks... etc... Will recommend them anytime.

Took my mom here for her birthday. She totally enjoyed the treatments she got. But the ladies who take appointments could have informed us of the facilities she could use you know before we got there. The lady who gave her the pedicure was excellent, soooo accommodating and nice. Her masseuse was kinda rude to us but all in all she had a great time and enjoyed her treatments.

From my first telephonic enquiry with Lameez on Sunday 13 September 2020 the service was nothing short of exceptional. Lameez guided me on what treatments to have as I mentioned that I needed some TLC and unwinding. I was treated with the utmost care and kindness by Avril who was very pleasant throughout my spa experience. She explained the Rasul Chamber experience and the flotation pool with ease and enticement. I then proceeded to having a wonderful massage with Hazel and oh my... was she good. Hands made in heaven! Incredible massage, the waiting area is beautiful and calming. The service is excellent, it doesnt take that long to fill in the forms on arrival which is done on a tablet. Hand sanitizers are available at the entrance. All staff members and guests wear masks

Painful back massage to the point that I was badly bruised. Wasn’t even a deep tissue massage and asked for medium pressure.

It was my daughters birthday on the 17th of November and she booked a spa day for me and her sister at this venue. We arrived, was checked in and I was taken to have my pedicure...not even to the changing room to change into their attire. My daughter was taken to the changing room.After the pedi I was waiting for someone to show we to the changing rooms to make use of the facilities as weve planned to do...that was the purpose of this day otherwise I could have gone to Sorbet for a pedi. Me and my daughters wanted some bonding time.Well, I was waiting and waiting but nothing happened. I later went to reception and asked them about it, where I was then informed that I cant use the facilities because I had a pedi and they cant take responsibility should the nail polish lift.On my question on why this information was not communicated to my daughter when she made the booking, the response i got, shocked me to my core! All our clients know that I could not believe my ears.I dont think the voucher that was given to make up for this lack of communication and poor choice of words to justify their actions can make up for the fact that our day was spoiled!!!

I had the Bliss package with my daughter, we both upgraded to the Gellish dip instead of a manicure. 2 days after receiving the treatment the top coat peeled off. I emailed the spa to complain and had no response from them. Apart from that the rest of the treatment was lovely. There did seem to be a lack of communication regarding what we were supposed to receive between front of desk and the manicurist.

Dressing room is adorable, grown and slippers offered in locker (safe and secure for your belongings). Very tranquil and relaxing. I had a Sports Massage done, as a group experience, with colleagues, and my masseuse was bloody good! Definitely worth the experience.

Friendly and professional staff in a clean and neat setting. There is a little sitting area with complimentary coffee and muffins. The pedicure was amazing. The massage wasn’t as well done but my girlfriends said theirs were wonderful. When I told the ladies at reception about the massage, I received an email from management acknowledging the feedback with a complimentary massage.

Avril went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, will come back just for her warmness.Very nice treatment just sad we missed our complimentary bubbly! Definitely worth another treatment.

I had a great massage here. The lady who did my neck and back massage was Patience. she is so good. I would recommend her for anyone who has a lot of tension in their neck and back.

It is the first time I go in a SPA that is not part of a 5 star hotel. I like a certain level of standards so today was a shot in the dark so long story short...a few 5 stars in the waterfront could take lessons from this SPA. From the set up, the treatment room size and comfort, the quality of the treatment, the common areas to the friendliness of everyone, this SPA won my loyalty in 1 single experience. Give it a try.

Gorgeous spa with delightful complimentary facilities, including a jet pool that is a great relaxing preamble to a massage. The pedicure station has a lovely ocean view, although whether you get a therapist who will make your treatment special is luck of the draw. Ask for Dawn or Nellie or Angelique.

Sadly I have to rate my experience at the Life Day Spa V&A 1 star. I’ve heard great reviews from friends (fair to stay they all get treated at the Canal Walk facility) nonetheless, booked a couples packed for R3200 included:1. A 60 min couples hot stone massage2. A 30 min middle eastern mud ritual including a bottle of sparkling wine and a snack platter, and3. A 30 min floatation therapy for two.Sounds amazing right?, like a day of pure bliss and relaxation. This is exactly the expectation I had when getting ready to treat the plus one to a day at the Spa. This making the experience at this Spa even more so disappointing. We arrived at what is a beautiful, clean, relaxing and modern space. Our first treatment was wonderful, the masseuse was well experienced and used great technique (treatment 1). It’s after this massage that the whole experience went left, and it took a sharp left! We were told to sit in a little seating area just outside the treatment room for our hostess to come and get us for our next treatment. We sat alright, for almost 30min thinking she’s preparing the for next treatment. I was now cold (just in my gown) and had already coloured two sunflowers in the colouring book provided while we waited. I had to walk back to reception where other groups of people were now arriving and ask the host to please tell us what to do next. She looked surprised and asked well what did you book for? (The same hostess who checked us in and confirmed treatments on arrival) I said well mud ritual or floatation, whichever came first. She then said ok, please hold I’ll go and prepare the steam room for your mud ritual! Gag! now nearly 40 minutes since our first treatment. I could see she looked unsure so I politely reminded her that the ritual came with a bottle of sparkling wine and treats which she was even more surprised by and asked me to please double check my booking because this was news to her and she doesn’t believe its complimentary with the mud ritual treatment, I may have gotten it confused. Before I could now head back to my locker in the changing rooms to fetch my phone and check my booking confirmation, she checked it off with another lady at front desk, and said apologies sir, I’ll deliver it while you having your treatment please listen for the knock on the door. It arrived just about 15 minutes into our 30 minute treatment. Enjoying the treatment finally, but now having to rush our sparkling wine, we finished and only to once again be standing in a little sitting area with no guidance on what to do, or where to go next. Without skipping a beat I head straight off to the reception area. Can we please do our final treatment now, I asked (thinking by now she’d know where we were to be) nope, I had to remind her, she then walks us to the room for the floatation therapy treatment only to find the floating bath is already covered. She looks to us and says, well we close at 19:00 (this was at 18:45) do you want me to remove the cover and setup the bath for your session or do you want to come another time and I’ll give you a voucher. Haha, I can laugh now but this was that jaw dropping moment and all I wanted to do from here on was make a beeline for home. Even that task wasn’t as simple, as Murphy may have it our locker, out of all guest there on the day...our locker was now jammed and we had wait...and wait...for assistance. Aaah what a terrible experience, just an overall poor experience. R3200 later, eish it’s just so sad. Needless to say, that was the first and the last.

While the facilities were great and the staff generally nice, the lady who did my nails lack of hospitality was horrible. Considering she asked me if I liked the colour of my nail polish, had used the wrong nail polish and when I said no I didn’t like it, told me I was wrong and proceeded without suggesting we could fix it, what could have been a great experience ended horribly. It could probably be a five star experience but it is the service industry so I am giving it 2 for lack of effort, but nice facilities and the remainder of the staff that were nice.

I was not impressed nor disappointed. The water in the jacuzzi was really cold though which spoiled the experience for me
