To post 2 parcels one to Pretoria and one to Sweden took 50min of slow paperwork .I asked mr Heinrich when the Dhl will pick up the shipments and he confirmed it will be around 2pm . I was in postnet Hout Bay ar 11.15amI asked him again if it will go out same day to which he responded :if I find time !May be only tomorrowbecause he still had to upload it to the computer .Sure enough it is still not sent out 24hours laterOnly uploaded in the systemWhat kind of service is that?This is not the first time that I promised us elf to go either to Postnet Kloof street or Constantia ..both very professional, the parcels get uploaded same day and you receive an AWB track number the instant you paid. I only received the track number with a 24hour delay and the parcel is yet to be picked up at Hout Bay .This is most unprofessional .

Absolutely terrible service. Phoned before the time to find out how much it would cost to print a couple of pages. They gave me a price over the phone - I then went to print and when they finished the printing, the price was 2.5 times more than the quote. They did not even apologize. I am usually very lenient and give 5 stars to most places I visit, but honestly I would have given PostNet Hout Bay a zero if I could.

Be very weary of being scammed by this company. I have been using PostNet for over 7 years and recommending them to other people however I will not be using them again. I received a parcel that I paid to get couriered and was told that anything over 2kgs would incur an extra R70 per kg. While the parcel was still under 2 kgs they insisted that I pay an extra R225 because of the metric weight while it fit into the standard parceling bag that they usually use. I will not be using them again and recommend that others dont.

My Husband posted a package on 8th Feb to a friend his friend collected the package only to find old soccer boots! What happened to our package I would like to know??? this is such an inconvenience because his leaving the country tomorrow without the gifts! This is extremely upsetting!!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. I had a good experience. Poor Staff had to deal with a person who must be a very unhappy soul. So disgruntled and agro. He thought staff had a bad attitude. I however thought HE was a problem. They smiled thru all his grunting and mutters 🙌 Oh well, you cant make everyone happy. I recommend this PostNet

What a change in service between sea point and Hout Bay, it’s like it’s a different company, I’ll rather drive all the way to Sea Point than use these guys, such poor service!!

POSTNET in Hout Bay is the worst in South Africa.Little knowledge about international shipments and in order not to be mistake they always say that the shipment cannot be made
