Absolute pathetic service from the guy claiming to be the owner.Didnt know he was talking to a IT specialist and lied to me about the cost of a battery saying it was original and it is not. Sold me a original battery a while ago which turned out to be generic.Watch out for these people and be sure to check your parts are genuine before purchasing. They also shout talk down to you, belittle you, call you names, etc. Of which I have proof on WhatsApp messages.

Amazing service. They were the only company (out of dozens that I went to) willing to test individual components on my Macs motherboard after liquid damage and not replace the whole motherboard which makes things much more affordable.

In February my Macbook Air got the dreaded no backlight problem, took the device to iStore who took two weeks to get the device to their technical department, assess it and send it back to me after I received a ridiculous quote from them which I declined. I can a buy Macbook Air for that price.Contacted Macwave after reading all the positive reviews, got an estimate quote and proceeded to get my Macbook shipped from Jhb to CPT. They arranged their courier company to collect on Monday 1 March, arrive 2 March, repaired 3 March, paid and shipped back on 4 March, had my working Macbook back with me on 5 March.Want to thank Zena for all her help and professionalism. I tried 3 times to use their site which doesnt allow you to process your booking without payment (of R0.00), which then fails. When I phoned to ask what the problem is, I got a smug woman who laughed and laughed before, in the most condescending manner, barking send email.

The trackpad on my MacBook Air was stuck and would not click properly. The MacWave customer representative got in touch with me immediately and I was able to come straight in. The tech person opened it up, fixed it and tested it to see if it worked quickly in front of me. It did and it still works. Readers, they did not even charge me. All I can say is bravo to the MacWave team, I had such an amazing experience. I am located in a different province, so I had to have my MacBook shipped to their offices. The technical controller handled everything, and the machine was shipped off on the day I specified. The technical team really know their stuff as my machine had a fault on the logic board and it was diagnosed and fixed in under 3 hours. I would highly recommend their services any day. Before you write off your Apple machine, give them a try.

Wonderful experience!!!I had issues with the display on my MacBook so I took it to them for a fix. I tried a few other places and was told I needed a board replacement with estimated turnaround of about a week or so but I was able to collect my machine by the end of the day. I am really happy with their service. Efficient and friendly.

The first time I went to them about two years ago I was told my mac was not repairable but other larger companies. They worked a miracle and repaired my water-damaged MacBook air and have been my go to apple repair spot since!

Amazing service! Wefix wanted to charge me R4000 for a battery replacement and it would take over a week, whereas Macwave was selling the battery for around R2500 and R400 installation. What a bargain.They also responded extremely quickly on whatsapp when I had questions.I ordered my MacBook Pro battery around 1pm and it arrived the next morning at 10am. As I am not in Cape Town, they referred me to a place in Johannesburg for the battery installation. They even followed up to ask if I had gotten the battery replaced and if it went well. They also offered to pay R100 towards the installation fee. I’m very impressed and would definitely recommend! My Mac is now working perfectly. Thank you Macwave for all the help :)

Unlike most other places, they will sell you individual parts for Apple computers, which is great if you have the technical skills to repair your own hardware.Unlike most Apple repair places, they dont try to take control of your devices and they never treat you as if they actually own your stuff, like the iStore does. They are also significantly less expensive and their staff always behave with impeccable professionalism.I recommend them without hesitation.

Very unhelpful to my experience. We have approached them twice in the last few months with different problems. After fitting a faulty screen to my iPhone 7 I had to return twice, both times being asked to wait 2 hours to rectify, before my cracked screen was again fitted on my phone to enable it to function. Quote for repairs is R500 higher than competitors, and competitors only require 1 hour fitment. Friendly and efficient sales staff considerably let down by technical service. Not recommended for iPhone repairs

I recently replaced my SSD.Ive had a few issues with my macbook and I normally go to another repair shop near Gardens, but they were WAY overpriced. My friend recommended Macwave, since its in the CBD. Got there, they were super nice and replaced my SSD superduper quick!
