I almost never write bad reviews, unless I really feel that I was cheated, so in this case I must say I did not drive away feeling warm and fuzzy. Not the friendliest place I have ever visited and also hell of a mission to get into the estate, even though I phoned before hand to let them know I was coming, I still had to wait about 15 minutes just to get in via the security gate. In their defence they did manage to fix my charging issue by cleaning my charge port (took +- 10 minutes), but for an exorbitant amount of R500. After phoning around, other shops will do this for R100 to R150, so sorry but this is a rip off.

Got the boss IPad repaired. He is very pleased with the job done. iRestore came highly recommended by everyone I asked and we were not disappointed.

Went to the IRestore looking for an iphone 6s. The staff was extremely rude and unwilling to help me in anyway. The service was poor, and unacceptable. Was asked to pay above average market price for a second hand iphone 6s, the phone had a broken camera, broken screen, and was badly scratched. If you are looking for a helping friendly business to help with your needs I would not recommend going to this business. I am writing this because I was honestly sadden by my experience, no customer should be treated disrespectfully and like an animal.

I am so glad that a friend recommended iRestore. I had no joy with the iStore, but iRestore came to the rescue. They fixed two of my laptops at a fraction of the cost, one of which was supposedly so bad that it was deemed irreparable. Their service was also excellent. On both occasions they stayed at the office for a little bit longer to wait for me to fetch it after work - on a Saturday. They were in constant contact with me about progress and answered all my questions. A big thank you to Steph and Cameron.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Word of warning, if you like your money and your Apple product, dont take it to I-Restore. I dont normally give reviews but here is my community service. After we sent in our Imac with a hard drive issue, it came back with a burnt out power supply and broken screen. Ive heard other similar reports too.

I took an iPod nano in which had a bulging baseplate and was non-functional. When I fetched item I had to deal with a very unfriendly and unhelpful woman who would not let me speak to the technician. I had to pay R500 or could not take my nano. The repair was poor and the baseplate fell out days later and unit stopped functioning. Beware!!!

IRestore is difficult to get to (in a residential estate) then the access to the house (not really an office) is unprofessional. One is greeted with an informality that triggers concern but once you are this far in, its tough to reverse. So despite instincts screaming, you entrust you valuable phone to them. Mistake. My screen was replaced badly. R3000 later. Glitching screen in hand I returned to have it redone. No apologies and yet another ordeal into the rabbit warren later, the screen was still glitching.Apple doctor sorted it out. Lower cost (R2800). Super professional amd much easier to access.

Update: They fixed my phone a while after this and so far so good. I still had to pay about R2000 again but I am pleased with how my phone functions.Had iPhone 8+ repaired. Was done very quickly but ever since then my vibration setting hasn’t always worked, the typing is supperrr laggy. And shortly after the screen popped up a bit and thus my phone shattered shortly after as it was raised above where my case can protect it. Not worth the ~R2500. Also the lady that works there isn’t welcoming or friendly at all. Rather just go somewhere else for same price you could even go to the iStore and get the real product.

Smashed the display of my iPhone 8 and had it replaced in less than an hour, the quality of the display is 100% as original.I waited around for the repair, the staff were very friendly and professional.I have used iRestore for repairs on my MacBook before as well, prices are very reasonable and the customer service is phenomenal.I can highly recommend using iRestore for all of your Apple related needs!

End result unsatisfactory - went to replace damaged iPad screen. A few days after collecting, screen was again cracked - due to inability to fasten new screen securely to the frame. This was returned in an effort to remedy. Solution was ineffective - and iPad still has cracked screen and potential to crack further (crack is such that it can cut). Furthermore, no calls to confirm work done. And no acknowledgement that they were in error or had failed to communicate the risk going forward. Thought I had a win being around the corner - but alas, not to be. Very disappointed.

Responded to my quote request within 24hrs. Completed the battery replacement on my MacBook in 15 mins while I waited. Excellent.

I took my iphone X to iRestore to have my cracked back replaced. Price was R3200. It was not an original Apple part but that was not such a big concern for me. I notice my Bluetooth is not working properly. I took the phone back to iRestore and got it back and still the Bluetooth was not working properly and the wifi and reception. I took my phone to We Fix and they fitted and original Iphone X back and now my phone works perfectly. I did get a partly refund from iRestore R1785. Still it was an expensive lesson. I guess when it comes to your expensive iphones and Macbooks fit original parts.

I dropped my iPad and the screen cracked. I phoned several companies in Cape Town. The other companies quoted me a price which was more expensive than iRestore and their turn around time was a week and iRestore fixed my iPad in 2 hours! I got to iRestore at 9:30 am and I was hardly back at work, when iRestore phoned me to tell me that I could come back to pick it up. I couldnt believe it. What an excellent, fast and efficient service! I have recommended iRestore to all my family and friends.

Useful place that knows mac stuff in and out, prices are good and they are helpful. Its work at home setup, but dont let that fool you, I also have a business from home, and these businesses do care about clients.

If these are the guys in Stonehurst Mountain Estate – I have one advice, NEVER EVER take your Macbook /iMac/ iPhone or anything for that matter to them. Took my Mac to them for some upgrades, which included a 4GB RAM upgrade. I pay them, go to collect my mac and I go home. For some reason I decide to check the newly installed ram, & to my surprise I have got only 2GB RAM. At the same time I notice a missing part (hardware) of my mac. Red with anger, I immediately take the computer back to them and I confront them (very calmly )about both the RAM and missing parts . The short technician does not even apologise for it, or at least pretend to apologise, instead he quickly goes to another room comes out with a 4GB ram in his hand, removes the 2GB that they have put in and he replaces it with the 4GB that he has in his hand. He then reaches to a shelf against a wall, picks up something, the missing hardware, and he screws it back on to my mac. No word, no sorry about that, nothing. I was ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED. Never ever will I take my Apple stuff to them again. BEWARE OF THEM GHASTLY CROOKS!!!Dear owner,To your response:It was not an actual single 4GB Ram, but was 2GB RAM x2, which equals to 4GB RAMS. The short mans name is Ashley, I think. Unless of course he has a very short memory. I do not need to discuss this further, it was my experience and Im sharing it with others, thats all. Thank you

The worst service I have had for my whole life.They said they could fix my Ipad2 camera for freeand I was thank you for about that,But during they were fixing my ipad, they broke my Ipad2 touch systemso I had to go there to drive for 1 hours again(going back also takes 1hour) but they couldnt fix it and recommended to restore so after the day, I went to there again and backed up my Ipad and restored at the office but nothing was fixed,And the onwer was coming so I had been waiting there for 4 hours which was last day (24th) I could stay in S.A. I booked flight 25th but I couldnt have my time with family and just waited there. After 4 hours the owner called me he would come late... I needed to leave my ipad so they could try again,Then they Should say earlier then I came there...at the that day 6oclock, they finished to fix but they said to me I should go there again and get the my Ipad but I was to busy to pack and prepared to go back to my country and I told the guy at the office at that day I would be leaving tomorrow morning I didnt have time to go and get so you guys should send to meBut now they are calling me and saying to comeand they cant deliverHere had the worst service I will never ever go here againSummary: they ruined the day which was I could spend my time with my family who I wont see them for a long time.breaking the Ipad when they were fixing.they alwasy late to come to officeno Service mind.
