I wholeheartedly join the praise of the other reviewers: this place is amazing! The customers well-being and satisfaction are central, even if it means helping out during after hours. I left the shop yesterday afternoon (a Saturday) after 5 oclock. The shop assistant would not give up until we had installed all the important stuff. Prices also are very reasonable. For me there is no other computer shop in Cape Town anymore. This is the one!!

I wish I had the option of giving negative stars for GTR, because my experience was absolutely horrible.I went there because of all the 5 star reviews and thought that I would be getting great service. I reached out for assistance with sourcing a power jack for my DELL XPS and replacing it. Shahiem could not assist me because their supplier did not have that part. However, I managed to get the part and came to him for assistance with replacing it for me.When I went to pick up my laptop, Shahiem mentioned I need to be a bit careful with my laptop as its wobbly. This had not happened before and because I was in a rush, I didnt really have time to check it. When I went home, my whole screen was shaking if I just moved my laptop from one place to another. I could even see inside the laptop and my power button felt flimsy as well.I took the laptop to another technician and he told me that basically Shahiem had not closed my laptop properly. The hinge was not stable because of this as well. I am not sure what are the job specifications of a computer technician but I am sure closing a laptop properly is definitely one of them. So if you want your laptop to be returned to you open with some damage, please take it to GTR.PS: I did report this to Shahiem and he mentioned that I can come in for him so that he can have a look at it again. But as you can imagine, I would not trust GTR or him to touch my expensive laptop again.

Can I give 10 stars rather? These guys are professional and they do not charge outrageous prices for repairs. Their communication is excellent and they put their customer first. Would highly reccommend theae guys. Well done!

Just bought a gtx 1660 super today. Wasnt from the area and was going home later. They were kind enough to personally drive to warehouse and back to supply me with the specific graphics card before i was going home. AMAZING service
