Artisan bakes and coffeeWhen I want to spoil myself quickly I get a coffee or chai from this place. Excellent service. Not halaal but the coffee is great. The chai latte was recommended and it stuck. A real treat. They would be so much busier if they were halaal. Such a pity. They sell amazing hot drinks as well as smoothies, cold drinks, lattes, cappuccino, hot chocolate and more. They also sell trays if eggs and butter besides their menu thay seems popular. Great service always.

The Tokai Junction with its large parking area is an ideal spot for cyclists, runners & race walkers to meet early morning on weekends. From there one can cycle to Cape Point, run/walk a loop round Westlake or Boyes Drive, & then stop at the Pantry for a coffee or tea afterwards. Tables inside & outside, service is quick & coffee is cheaper before 09:00. They sell eats - croissants, pastries & pies. They also sell milk, eggs & free range eggs at competitive prices.

Was looking for a place to have a cup of coffee and a nibble and found this gem. The manager was so friendly and polite when she welcomed us. Service was excellent. Coffee and food served in less than 15 minutes! Now that is service with a smile. The shop is small and neat and has a lovely atmosphere to it. I would definitely recommend this place if you looking for a quick recharge before doing your weekly shop.

Very nice coffee shop with a great selection of tasty baked goods and friendly staff. The milk tart is amongst the best Ive ever had - the filling is rich and creamy and almost melts in your mouth. My wifes comment to my daughter was This is what they feed you in heaven.

The food is just delicious. I bought a toasted sandwich and found 2 toasted sandwiches in the box. On enquiring the manager told me thats what you get for under R50. Bread is also a beautiful multi seed loaf. So much love in their food.

They have a R55 burger and chips special which is absolutely delicious. The burger is served juicy with caramelized onions. They also have an assortment of home-baked pies, muffins and cakes. Love it!

The menu, prices, and atmosphere at The Pantry are fantastic enough to warrant 5 stars, but on top of that, over and above, the friendly staff and service deserve another 5 stars. Happy staff are the surest sign of good management, and smiles, laughter and friendly chat abound—kudos to Nicole who is constantly on the move, chatting to customers, behind the counter, on the phone, taking orders, recommending menu items… this is my happy place!

This quaint little restaurant, which I would upgrade to a Bistro if it was up to me serves the most delectable fare in Tokai Centre. Today was my second visit, which turned out to be rather strange, hence the two stars. I had the most sumptuous breakfast for R 75. Unfortunately the atmosphere did not compliment the meal. I simply felt compelled to scoff down the meal and get out.Nicole, which I assume is the owner/manager made it quite clear via her demeanor that she certainly could do without my presence. It was a difficult pill to swallow in this day and age. I certainly felt like I was in a Mikes Kitchen in Gauteng. There were 6 white guests plus Me in the café. Nicole made it a point to chat with each and everyone of them. Not only once, but periodically. Needless to say, I was pointedly ignored and not even eye contact was made. It was Déja vu for sure. Finally the bill came, which Nicole brought herself, not the hostess that served me. I received a curt thank you Sir and have a good day Sir.For the record, I am a Senior Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering Services, Applied Management in Hospitality Services, BusinessManagement, and Entrepreneurship. I have had the privilege to visit most countries on 6 of the 7 continents of our planet. Sadly, today I felt like an armed robber. This country is going down the toilet very fast, still not every person of color is a potential threat.I wish your business much success, I surely will visit again.Love and Light!

Overpriced and incompetent staff. I ordered a flat white take-away during the morning special, the cashier turned to who I assume is her manager and spoke in a language I dont understand. Then she turned back to me and said sorry but only cappuccinos and americanos are on special . I asked her what the difference was between a flat white and a cappuccino, she had no idea. The difference is the consistency of the milk. They make all there coffee the same way so I was like whats the point? I would not recommend this place to anyone but if you end up going make sure you speak very SLOWLY and explain yourself when ordering!!!!
