Such a fun store with interesting and unique treats that are delicious!! A true little gem to find while exploring Sea Point. Do yourself a favour and stop by to get either a treat for the road or a sit-down spoil. Everything they make is delicious! (We’ve tried many doughnuts, many chocolates and their signature chocolate bark with salted caramel and pretzels inside.)The staff are friendly and the owner is passionate, goes the extra mile to make the experience memorable and unique.An experience to remember, and a fun one for the kids too! (One wall is decorated to make it look like chocolate is dripping from the ceiling!)

The amazing chocolate smell walking into Mysugar was definitely something worth mentioning, Definitely a great spot for Chocaholics :), enjoyed the caramelized coconut milkshake, very good consistency and taste. Will definitely be returning 😊

My Sugar (levels) is through the roof. Great place for sitdown or take away (can even order on Uber Eats). Donuts and a hot chocolate or milkshake is to die for.The choccies are cool too with unique designs especially if you want to get someone a box as a gift.Definitely recommend.

This is one of those places where you know you shouldn’t go back, but you just can’t help yourself!! My Sugar is an experience of note! From the small delicacies to the big explosions of taste in your mouth from the incredible doughnuts!! Every time you walk in there, you are greeted by friendly faces that just welcome you to a world of chocolate and sweetness! Their milkshakes and especially their coffee tastes amazing! You can have a bite inside at one of the tables, which is quite unique as it offers a smaller version of classic games like tic tac toe, or take your indulgence to the beach and enjoy it with a view!! What a lovely chocolate shop. Very friendly, amazing chocolates and the barista knows how to make an excellent red cappuccino! Definitely a must to visit.

But its Sea Point so that is expected.- Pricey - Worth it, this is good chocolate.Advice:Do you like Willie Wonka? Well this is as close to it that you are gonna get in CPT. Seriously go see for yourself, it’s rare to find a place that actually puts this level of well effort into their chocolate.

This is kost definitely sugar overload! But I was the best ever! They have some crazy awesome combinations so dont be afraid to try something new and out of your comfort zone! Have a creme brulee latte or a butterscotch popcorn milkshake or the yummy mini cute delicious soft and warm doughnuts omw they to die for! This place should definitely be on your CT to do list :)

This charming little shop is a heaven for chocoholics. The chocolates are as sweet in taste as they are in design, and the service is friendly and enthusiastic. A must visit for anyone who loves a good piece of chocolate, and surely that means anyone. Nice coffee too.

My Sugar is not good for my sugar levels, but it sure is good for my feel good levels!Disclaimer - we didnt try any of their chocolate, but we did try a few of their doughnuts and one of the mega milkshakes.I absolutely loved the brownies! They were moist with a good balance of chew and cakiness, and best of all, a great hit of dark chocolate that cut the sweetness.The dough in the doughnuts was superb - they had a heft to them while still being light and delish. All of them were fab, so try a couple and divvy them up to create tasting plates.The coffee mega shake was impressive to behold, but even better to sip. They really understand how to do a good dairy based drink. Usually mega shakes look impressive but end up tasting watery and disappointing. This one delivered on all fronts.Lastly, shout out to the chef, a burley hipster passionate about his creations, he really does a great job and making this place fabulous!

I love this store! Home grown proudly SA owners who are extremely friendly and sweet. The chocolate is so creative, unique and extremely tasty! The gourmet doughnuts are a childhood treat turned into an addictive delight! The chocolate bark is like Willy Wonkers chocolate bar that has gooey caramel and crunchy pretzel pieces, its to die for! Drove all the way from Stellenbosch for MySugar treats!

So I visited this store because I was looking for places to visit when I was in CPT and I decided to ask for recommendations on the CapeTown subreddit and MySugar came up a whole lot and I thought “why not?”I took a walk from my hotel down the road and visited a number of stores on my way to this one and it was like a child’s version of heaven...You walk in, get hit with a cool breeze from the air conditioner...you’re greeted by someone and then they walk over to the glass cabinets and you come face-to-face with the most beautiful chocolates you’ve ever seen...Then, you get distracted by the machines behind the counter melting and oozing white and brown rivers of chocolate😭♥️...there were so many options to choose from and I was also taken by surprise when I saw that they have a menu with things that weren’t just chocolates...they have shakes, waffles, hot-drinks, etc...Pros:•There’s plenty parking•It’s in a safe and ‘vibey’ area•The ‘Chocolatier’ is friendly•The flavours are odd but DELICIOUSCons:•The chocolates are NOT CHEAP (they start from around R12 and go up to R25, from what I can remember)•If you buy in small quantities (I bought 4) you don’t get it in a box and, instead, all your chocolates get put in a plastic bag(see the pic)

If youre in the mood for chocolate - this is the place. The Melktert doughnut is amazing. The Broughnut (brownie + doughnut) is also really good, but quite sweet! Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious cappuccino and very friendly barista! Tasted both the peanutbutter and apple crumble donuts - absolutely amazing! Will argue that these donuts give the famous ‘hyped up’ donut joints in Cape Town a run for their money, especially considering My Sugar’s reasonable prices! Can’t wait to try out their chocolate that they are well known for.

Sweet - but so worth it! Good selection of all things sugary but even their ordinary cinnamon rung doughnuts are worth it.

Received chocolate in tight plastics. Thought to request a box, but would not make us environmentally friendly....they were damaged when we got home. Usually we receive a box at Steenberg even buying 3 pieces. Still, this is not about the fancy box, if the owner has respects to these hand made chocolates as he explained, he would already find a way to not pack glassy chocolates rubbing directly against each other.

What a wonderful experience! My hubby and I were very warmly welcomed upon entering. We purchased the creme brulee donut and the cookies and cream donut. SO SO SO delicious. We were treated so well too. Rare to find a place that is so warm and welcoming as well as serving a whole lot of deliciousness. Will definitely be back!

This place has RUBY CHOCOLATE! After milk, dark, and white, the world has found a new chocolate flavour and this place has it. The ruby flavour was not mouthwateringly delicious, but nevertheless worth trying. The staff were also quite friendly and their candy creations looked like carefully crafted kids toys. Definitely worth the visit.

Website says that they are open, been to the store a few times and every single time they are closed. Bear in my mind we came on Holiday to Cape Town and was recommended to visit this place.

I was so excited to try this place out but when we got there is was so cramped and couldnt accommodate us with a pram. We just placed our order which was mini donuts, the cashier said it will just be a few minutes and we had to wait outside in the cold. After waiting for half an hour I went to ask her how long will it be and she forgot about my order and didnt know what I ordered and weather I payed or not.The donuts were good but not the service.

This is by far my favorite place in Sea point. I particularly love the salted pretzel brownies, and the buddha’s. And the white skulls... and the dark chocolate skulls... and the donuts stuffed with milk tart.... i cannot choose. I love this place.

Visually beautiful and delicious chocolates. Rich flavors but nicely sweet. My favorite was the golden skull caramel ganache. Wow such a flavorful explosion. It was such a cool experience trying the diff flavors and theyre all quite affordably priced so Ill be returning soon. Very close to the famous Mojo Market and Seapoint Promenade so its a nice pit stop for desserts after.

Even if you dont have a sweet tooth, its worth dropping in just to see the amazing treats and custom chocolates - absolutely incredible.But if you DO have a sweet tooth, try and pace yourself as there are way too many nice things to try!Highly recommended!

The only reason I dont overdose on My Sugars wonderful chocolate is that the shop is located in busy Regent Road, Sea Point, and its a bit of a mission to get there from the southern suburbs. Otherwise, Id probably take up residence. Choose from a large selection of gorgeous chocolates (more like little objets dart than edible items), made from dark, milk and Ruby chocolate. Pricey, but if youre a chocoholic and youve yet to experience My Sugar, do yourself a favour and get there...
