Beautiful coffee with warm croissant what more can one ask in wintertime in Cape Town

Love this place! Absolutely delicious caramel Frappuccinos and coffee. Service is efficient and staff friendly.

I waited for 20 years to have a Starbucks within walking distance of my home. And it has been worth the wait. The staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgable about their jobs. It is always a pleasant experience when I pop in for a skinny cappuccino on a weekly basis.

Today I had my first Starbucks (Tygervalley Mall) Experience and to be completely honest, it was disappointing, to say the least.When walking into Starbucks Tygervally Mall the decor and outlay of the store looked very premium, their food items looked soo yummy and the merch is super cool, but at the end of the day, the customer service and quality coffee is what matters most.Customer service: 10 out of 10Coffee Quality: QuestionableWe bought 2 x tall cappuccinos one normal and one with Almond milk (as short is not available to order for some reason) at a VERY premium price point, compared to the premium competitors in the same mall, and to be frank compared to all the coffee shops I have visited over the years throughout the Western Cape.When our order was ready, there was no cup sleeve or holster provided for the pipping hot coffee that was handed to us, which we had to turn back for based on the heat of the coffee in our takeaway cup.A few moments later after arriving at our parked car, we thought it was safe to take our first spit of the Starbucks coffee experience, which was a bad idea. The coffee was still so HOT that we burnt our lip and tongue.We then decided to drink it at a later stage when it cooled down completely, and once the foam of the milk had settled. When the coffee was finally ready to drink, we removed the lid to discover that almost half of the cup had been filled with foam from the heated milk. We were then left with almost half a cup of *coffee* once the foam was disappeared. (Photo attached to this review) I am not sure if this is enforced as part of Starbuckss training to save on their cost, or if their barista training is just sub-standard.Our overall *coffee* experience was quite disappointing on every level especially based on the premium price point Starbucks is positioned at. I will most certainly not recommend Starbucks to anyone, nor will I go there again. We have now had the Starbucks experience and its nothing to write home about.I would hands down prefer my local Woolworth coffee barista over Starbuck any day, as they are consistent with our daily coffee order at a fair to premium price point.

This is a nice place to come to. Good energy and atmosphere, but its not being managed very well. The coffee quality is not the best. Drinks like the Iced Chai Latte are good. It was out of stock this time around though. The seats and tables are not clean.

First time having Starbucks. Went with the caramel frappuccino. I was not disappointed. Queues were not as long during the week as it was over the opening weekend

People find it cool to hate on big brands but Starbucks coffee hits Seattle out of the park with quality and service. I believe that Starbucks will thrive in the Western Cape as we all love trendy places and this is one of the best of them.

Coffee is decent and treats are freash. Had a milk tart pastry and was delecious. I just order small flat whites or coffees and Ive never had an issue.

I really looked forward to your opening. I have had coffee twice from you and both times the quality was subpar and the service luke warm at best, not at all what I expected from such well known international brand.You have two competitors in the mall that is light years ahead in product quality and service.
