Quaint intimate setting, with views over false bay. Food is good, coffee is great. They even served us breakfast after their breakfast menu closed.(breakfast stops at 12)

Had a lovely budget friendly breakfast today with great service.

Great Atmosphere, friendly staff. Coffee is nice. Pastries are available cheaper later on in the day as they dont want to sell day old, which is great.

Service was excellent and so was the food. They also have a nice selection of basic fruit, veggies and non-perishable items for purchase. The chocolate Oreo and carrot cake were also awesome.

Lekker is really lekker! The food is made fresh and therefore takes a bit longer...really dont mind. Nice music and lovely views. Cappuccinos, Chai Latte and frech chocolate Croissants is Excellent. Well priced food. My family had the Eggs Benedict. Super good. I had t he Burry pan breakfast with olives. Be very careful for the olive pips. The manager Thelma was super apologetic and refunded my breakfast. Our server was Joseph. I think he could have been a bit more attentive. Other wise a super good experience. Will definitely go back.

Our last visit was on a rainy day perfect for spending hours in a coffee shop.A lovely coffee shop restaurant with a warm and welcoming ambience. The split-level floor makes it feel even more cozy.The service is friendly and efficient.They offer a nice range of baked goods.Great food at great prices. There is a wonderful atmosphere, the coffee is very good and the breakfast special is really special!! Attentive staff with smiles also makes a difference.

Great local coffee store really embracing the Cape Town vibe. Strong full flavoured coffee with freshly baked selection of cakes. Located just on the main road, always make sure to pop in for a coffee and watch the world pass by.

Get here before 7 and youll have the place to yourself (and R17 coffees if youre in luck). Seats at the back of the restaurant have scatter cushions and are comfortable. Theres also a selection of pastries but the breakfast menu is a bit shallow. Still, ask for scrambled eggs and theyll gladly deliver. Staff is wonderfully friendly too.

Lekker restaurant in Kalk Bay is a gem. We were warmly received and seated in a cosy part of the restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast of poached eggs - perfectly cooked according to our order. The atmosphere is cosy yet classy.

I love this place. I’ve been in Kalk Bay for 2 weeks and this is my 4th visit. Chill vibe with ocean views. Great menu with a variety of snack and food. Excellent drink selection including a nice bar. Desserts that you crave. EXCELLENT service. I’ve really enjoyed the carefully prepared food!Contrary to other reviews, the newly remodeled interior is welcoming and festive. The dark colors make the warmth of the staff stand out even more. Lekker!I’ll be back here many more times in the coming weeks. UPDATE: I visited about 8 times and have only good feedback! It’s also a great place to do laptop work - ample seating, outlets, staple WiFi, and they are receptive to you spending time on a laptop (and will kindly check on you to keep taking your order). Just a lekker experience all around!

This is going to be my to-go-to eatery for the next visit to Kalk Bay. Decor is pretty Instagrammable. The mushroom poached egg is amazing, the sauce is the clear game changer. Ive changed the English muffin to croissant - definitely a cherry on top. Their homemade lemonade is refreshing after a long walk during a hot summer day. Service is super attentive and friendly. Nicely situated on the main road where you can people watch and get a view of the sea.

Had lovely hot pot of earl grey tea, flatbread with butter chicken is a nice surprise. Maybe less tomato will make it an excellent light dish

Its a good venue with a great view. It was quiet when I was there so the vibe was super chilled. Im a big fan of milkshakes and I thought they were really nice but disappointingly smaller than I expected for the price. May they just that good that it disappeared to fast. Parking is easy and accessible unless the traffic is bad. Nevertheless I would recommend you pop in

A wonderful little place to stop for tea or a quick bite. I enjoyed the breakfast, which really hit the spot. It has a rustic feel and it feels like youre visiting your grannys house. a good vibe.

As the name says, lekker. Very lekker in fact. Hazelnut late was very good and my kids loved the hot chocolates ( made with extra care for my 2 youngest so they didnt burn their mouths). Croissants were nice and fresh and my babies loved the cupcakes. Will definitely be back. Keep up the great workAnd service

A quaint café well suited to the ecclectic hustle of Kalk Bay. The breakfast was well balanced and full of flavour. The low carb breakfast is especially noteworthywith its generous portion of avocado. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming with professional service. We will definitely come again. So well priced!

I havent eaten a meal there yet, but I work in a nearby shop and have been getting their soups at lunchtime. Its the best soup ever, served in a big cup, and the price is low. Super impressed. Staff are friendly and on the ball. Looking forward to having a meal there soon......And I forgot to mention their deli section - a really good assortment of things including perfectly ripe, big avos. All at prices the same or lower than supermarkets,. Wow.

We enjoy this cafe. Its casual and the food is great at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Views of Kalk Bay. It is noisy being on the busy main road with taxis, buses and bikes gluing pass. Great menu choices with daily specials on their board. We enjoyed their waffles with banana and chocolate- and best of all they topped it with fresh strawberries and a dollop of ice cream.

Lovely staff, reasonable prices and chef tailored the Malay Curry to make it vegeterian. Food tasted very good.

Its a quaint café that forms part of the Kalk Bay shopping row. Coffee was good but the pork belly was dreadfully overpriced for what it was. I probably would have complained but was I entertaining some old friends so didnt wan to spoil the occasion. The seating was also uncomfortable so 3 stars is all I could give them.

Love Lekker, my local to stock up on Milklab almond milk and other vegan options.

Had the Lekker Brekkie - the bacon was a liitle overcooked, but overall I enjoyed it, and the tomato relish was really good! At R59 it was a good value for mobey. Their service was great and the coffee was good too. Ill be back :)

The service was friendly enough but slow and the food took a good while to arrive.The chicken burger was very spicy but not as tender as expected. The pork tacos were disappointing - the coleslaw was very mayonnaisy and pork belly strangely lacked flavour.
