Excellent food, coffee and service! Happy to have found this place in the waterfront area. Food tasted great and portions of good size. Prices are reasonable. I went twice in 2 days. Highly recommend!

An absolute gem at the VA Waterfront. We had such a delicious, inventive breakfast here. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the latka beef and poached eggs along with the mama breakfast bagel. We enjoyed tea and coffee while watching the craft vendors open up their shops. The best breakfast we had in Cape Town ! Wish we discovered them sooner to enjoy more food at this lovely restaurant.

My friend and I a wonderful lunch experienced at COOKED. The environment and vibe is amazing and so is the large coffee and grilled chicken toastie. The stuffing to bread ratio is perfect, not too much bread and more than enough stuffing. Poetry on my palate!Ive told my family and friends to come and experience the greatness that is COOKED. Cant wait to come back for the pasta as recommended by the friendly waiting staff

Great ambience and delicious food. We ordered the hot chocolate and cold pressed berry juice (very refreshing!). The lamb burger was on point and the mushroom and cheese toasties was delicious. Love the cool hipster vibes of the Watershed as well.

Food is tasty but wish there could be slight menu modifications. On my first visit I asked if the beef latke could be swapped for lamb as I have an mild allergy. There was no issues. After driving all the way from Milnerton, I was told they don’t do that there and never have.If you have a lamb burger on the menu, why couldn’t a customer switch it out for beef even at if the price is slightly higher?But if you enjoyed beef, the latke is great.

This lovely little family run restaurant is packed with great vibes and awesome meals. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. Lovely place on the inside of the V&A craft market. I only had coffee and cake but there was a good selection of meals to choose from should you want to eat there. The portion sizes are very generous for a reasonable price.

Very humbly enquiring, upon ordering a toastie, if it comes with onion and was told no but they would arrange some onion for me, left me happy to go ahead with order. Sadly upon eating my toastie, I realised they did not stick to their promise. A bit disappointed in them.

Consistently good food (and coffee) can be found at this restaurant. Run by a hands-on family, the business churns out delicious fare with a Middle Eastern slant. When popping into the Watershed or any of the other sites near it, like the Aquarium, this is where you should eat at the V&A Waterfront.

I loved their single origin Rwanda roast Cappuccino. As well as the spanakopita which has the best flaky pastry ever. The service was quick. The atmosphere is quite and calm and a good refuge from the business of the general V and A crowds.

Excellent and different extremely affordably priced lunch dishes including many vegetarian options. Charming staff and manager in a cool setting at the corner of the Blue Shed at the V&A. Will be my lunch spot of choice from the many options at the V&A from now on!

It’s so good that I wanted to go out of my way to rate it. We got the lamb souvlaki and it was perfect. Decent price point too.

Came on sunday around 10 and it was nice and busy the food was great and coffe was good but the service from our waitress was poor.

They have really amazing fresh bagels and their staff are extremely friendly. Most of my breakfast dates, I come to COOKED.

Loved this place - found it by accident and the food is spectacular at a very good value. Ordered try lattke w salmon, creme cheese, and poached eggs. Crispy, salty, fishy, and rich. The grilled halloumi was legit.

We ate here three times in our week in Cape Town... it was that good. Freshly made, tasty, economical. Friendly and helpful staff.

Relaxed atmosphere with good food for the adult pallette. Not really a good kids eat-out, although my son loved his toasted sanwich. If you are planning on going to Play Days afterwards the food there is cheaper and more aimed towards what children like. I however have eaten twice at Cooked and always enjoyed my food and our waiter this week was quite good.

The food was DELICIOUS and the staff are always friendly and professional. Not to mention they make the best coffee in the Waterfront.
