Very nice upmarket Checkers with fresh food and bakery.

It is most probably the worst shop in the history of this country that i have ever been too. Unfriendly staff, staff that dont want to help you and they havent got a clue what is going on in that shop. I my professional opinion i will give it a minus 1000000. Luckily I dont have to go back there ever again.

Its a big Supermarket with a lot of variety. The annoying thing is their delivery service bikers parking right the entrance and moving around the parking area at speed. This should be moved to its own area further away, one bike should collect their order for deliver and leave. The hot food deli often runs out of foods, preference seems to be given to staff to buy rather than the customers.

Not my favourite Checkers. Usually super crowded and very smelly.

Staff has never been friendly at this Checkers. Been going there since they opened but no, customer service is really poor. You almost feel like its your fault you needed something from the shop they work in for which they get paid. If PnP was cheaper, id much rather go there

Checkers Okavango is a smaller store but it has your essentials. The parking is close to the entrance so it is very convenient.You can also order online with the checkers 60Sixty app.The butchery section is good but we generally go to another store for a wider variety.The pricing is also in line with other checkers stores so its excellent value for money.

This branch of checkers made the best Portugese Rolls on Monday 16 August, not sure if theyre always this good but thats the winner. Normally bakeries just use normal crispy roll recipe with flour over top.

There was nothing wrong with the shop itself but your cashiers are rude and have no customer service skills. When you ask a question they roll their eyes at you and dont bother to answer either nor greet. She looked at me and only said plastic. Didnt even care to greet me back. Will definitely not go there again.

I recently bought pork sausages from Checkers and after braaing it at home I got ready to eat it and found a long clear plastic inside the sausage.That was so disgusting I had to throw the rest of the sausages away. I will NEVER buy meat from Checkers Okavango Crossing again!

Its a little small, does not always have stock everything you might be shopping for, but its neat and clean and great for a quick shop.

I wanted to buy one of their freshly squeezed juices which was displayed in front of the store. Get to the till no price tag. Supervisior comes to assist. Takes them 10min to get price tag which they still couldnt get at the time. Waited forever and told them to leave it. Walked next door to Woolies and got it there with no hassles. Not in the same league

Not a horrible store has enough variety. staff loves to walk right at you as if you dont exist so not a place i love to visit unless i really have to.

I will never never never ever ever ever shop at your branch again the staff i dont no who is training them but there is absolutely no customer service or even a hint of friendliness. Again i paid for extra products like milk i took two bottles but the teller scanned three i said no for bags but the teller scans bags. Tried to call the manager but no one ever answer that phone. Cheers Chekkers Okovango you will never see me again.

Specials not clearly displayed enough on product shelves. Ended up leaving the store without realizing the specials. I have to now grab a pamphlet at the entrance to first read up about the specials.Edit: changed this to 1 star, should be zero, cant cant select it. Attached a picture of their baked bread area. As great as it looks, you cant see the 3 flies doing their business on the various breads. Quite disgusting. The women behind the counter took zero note about it. Ive raised this issue before, but I cant keep being the bug police guy. Avoid the bakery at this checkers it you still want your health intact.

Very much all over the place no structure to the aisles. Fine selection if you dont mind having to walk all through the shop.

Clean , spacious and lots of shopping options available. Staff friendly and helpful.

Unfriendly, rude staff. No manager to be found. This is not the first time I have experienced unacceptable service in this store. The cashiers need to be taught people skills and how to take their jobs seriously. It is absolutely shocking!!! Yesterdays shopping experience was the straw that broke the camels back.

The carrot cake I bought was too sweet for some reason.Staff : friendly and professional.

I useally prefer the Okavango Checkers because the service is a little bit better than the other Checkers. But tonight I pop in for a few items, Im really disappointed, staff member behind till started ringing up my items but also started arguing with the staff member standing behind me in the row, there is a closed sign and he must go somewhere else and it got to a point where I said this is unprofessional Im standing in the Line. I just got a blank look. Im actually so fed up with the bad service at all the Checkers branches. I love the brand but the service does not make up for that.

Shelves always stocked and staff are always friendly and extremely helpful this is a go to store.

Such a pleasure buying at this store, except at the Deli...🥴serious room for improvement there. The hot food is dried out all the time, does NOT look appealing at all and I highly dought that if food costing is done, that it would show any profit there. Anyway... but in the rest of the store it is a pleasure to buy there.

Never has chedder cheese, shelfs are never stocked on month end.Staff at entrance do not clean/sanitise trollies, unfriendly till staff. Always a mission yo do a full shopping. Always have stop at another shop to complete shopping!Order management needs to be looked at!!!Very unhappy client!

Easily accessible, ample of parking and units for the disabled. Elderly and disable do have privileges. Isles in the shop can be widened more for accessibility competing with trolleys.

Unhelpful unprofessional uneducated staff rude and no communication skills

Checkers should really invest more in their front line staff. Awesome store but their front line staff really made my shopping experience bad. The lady at the money market till that helped me was rude. Did not greet or even just a smile. Spoke to her which i guess is a supervisor in her language while attending to me asking for something with out acknowledging me. Or apologising about it afterwards. Made me feel like they were doing me a favour by helping me. Definately wont go back there again.
