While in Cape Town, I just had to visit @burgerlobstersa in Bree Street 🦞😍 An exciting, trendy restaurant & cocktail bar offering amazing burgers, lobster rolls and fresh lobster! Definitely worth the visit and highly recommended 🙌

Delicious food, attentive service, extensive wine and cocktail menu and the restaurant itself was modern without being cold.Energy very good, I imagine it is vibey at night. Menu items are pricey, but its lobster and that isnt cheap. I enjoyed the lobster roll - very good. Next time Im going back for their wolf burger - with lobster and pure beef on a brioche bun.

My husband and I are both burger fanatics and had never tried Burger and Lobster until recently. OMG! What a tasty experience! Never would I really have thought of combining burgers and lobsters! I enjoyed the slider option which I would order again in a heartbeat! My husband had the Wolf Burger which he also thoroughly enjoyed! Fantastic overall experience, good service and well priced menu.

Wonderful first time experience. Its always great to try new spots in Cape town but especially if they cater for Vegan/Vegetarian and Lactose intolerant People. We tried their All rounder and Lettuce wrapped Southern fried Chicken burger. All their food was super yummy and not to mention the amazing service. Definitely worth all the buzz surrounding this place 👌

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I cant thank him enough. My partner and I were looking for a chilled spot to have some drinks before we could start bar hopping and we ended up staying there the whole day. Their food is so amazing and tasty. A little pricey but if you go for their happy hour you wont be dissapointed. Overall their 5 star rating is deserved. Please dont forget to make a booking or else you will be dissapointed the place fills up fast and even the bar stools get taken up quickly.

After my amazing first visit my expectations were high but I was underwhelmed by the lobster roll. It was a bit dry and not worth the hype. I would rather just stick to the amazing ribs next time.

The food was great. Absolutely lovely. I got the All rounder, which is sort of a little bit of everything and was very pleased with my meal. The food was bursting with flavour. The vibe was very nice and the service was lovely. Gladly recommend this place.

I couldnt wait till I got home to rave about this spot! The service is amazing, from the hostess that greets you at the door to the waitress. I was dining alone but felt absolutely comfortable. My booking was Saturday at 13h00 so it was not full. There was a private function at the tables outside and a few patrons inside. My waitress, Thai, was absolutely amazing. The food was divine, to say the least. The ambience, the vibe, thw food, the service... Im definitely coming back and bringing people I love to experience what I experienced today.

The lobster roll i had was quite enjoyable . Arriving at happy hour was to our advantage and also the promo on the food made it easy on the pocket. Only let down was that we could not get a table as we did not reserve before hand as nothing was mentioned on their site. We were offered a table outside but it was too windy. But altogether a enjoyable experience.

Lovely restaurant.The only issue I had was the wait period, each time we’d ask out waiter to give us a minute she’d take forever to get back to us.Otherwise the cocktails were rather tasty, and they have a lovely 241 special, but it means that each person has to order their own two individual drinks, one person can’t order two drinks to share. This runs from 4-6.

Ambiance is fantastic. The food is delectable. The service is superior. The cocktail list is fresh. I could wax lyrical for days. I would go back and highly recommend it.

Not great if you are looking to enjoy an easy catch-up conversation as the music is super loud although I personally enjoyed this. My 4* is only because as delicious as the food was the menu is really pricey for food and drinks and in Cape Town with so much choice on offer Im not sure that these prices are justified and being a chain itd not unique to our shores

The WOSRT whole lobster ever.. Was sold to me as whole lobster what arrived on my plate was the smallest tailed crayfish i have ever eaten. And i had to pay 400 rand for the dish. Not value for money at all.

This place is quite chaotic on a busy night - the music is way too loud (cant even hear yourself think) and we were seated next to the kitchen (not sure why anyone would bother putting tables next to the kitchen as the sight of the chefs cooking, noise from the dishes and smell of smoke werent pleasant at all to say the least). The food itself was okay but nothing special (we had burgers mostly). The hype around this place is not worth it.

Located in a vibey part of the Cape Town cbd, this is more a gastropub than actual restaurant based on the proportion of space dedicated to food and beverage on the menu. A wide selection of cocktails and decadent milkshakes are on offer, with a social hours offer on all weekdays. The food offerings are more limited but the food itself was well prepared, presented and very tasty. Vegan and vegetarian options are available for the burgers and were also very tasty. An almost nightclubbish feel with low light and pulsating music

Excellent establishment. Food was amazing, the lobster melt in your mouth, the chicken burger was tender. The cocktails are unusual but taste awesome, and the atmosphere is tops. Good music as well.The staff are friendly and extremely helpful as well, was our first time visiting. The waitress explained everything and was very patient.

The lobster rolls are delicious! I ordered the big boy lobster so it gets served and stuffed with even more lobster. I need to try the burgers and ribs next but I loved the lobster so much! The black truffle and parmesan cheese fries are delicious as well.

Great space, food is OK. We started with the calamari and prawn bites - the calamari was sandy but had great flavor (probably the high point of the evening). The prawns were yummy but over seasoned.We had the Wolf burger with truffle and parmesan fries. Burger was like any other, but with battered crayfish on top. Crayfish was sandy too. Fries were OK, parmesan tasted processed.Happy hour drinks are thrown together - not worth the saving.Service sucks, management is dismissive of any attempt to discuss it. If you are light sensitive, there is a red light that may irritate you too.All in all, not worth my time or money.

The Berger & lobster is the ultimate place to dine. Everything was so perfect since we arrived. From management to the waiter David we were treated like royalties even though we had no reservation. The food and cocktails were exquist.We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone see you guys soon.There is no price to the quality of food and dinks not to mention the service. The meal and drinks was worth paying the price.

Really crowded for their happy hour. It’s pretty and has good music but that’s all I can say.We made a booking for an outside table and got stuck inside literally touching another table and wedged so close that the DJ had move his equipment. (Updated: we had to physically get off our seats for the other table to go to the bathroom and vice versa. The backs of our seats were touching each other.)The service was soooooo slow. We waited 45 minutes for a drink to arrive and over 1.5 hours for the second round and bill. Won’t be going back because it doesn’t feel covid safe at all.

Great joint to hang out with friends and really great two for one special. Only bizarre thing is that they bring both drinks at the same time. BL burger is fantastic, skip the prawn popcorn. Drink the sauvignon not the Chardonnay.

Big thanks to Burger & Lobster for squeezing us in without a reservation on Boxing Day/Day of Goodwill! There weren’t many places open, so most places were quite busy, and B&L was definitely hopping. They got us a great 2-person table in the back near the kitchen, which was perfect for our late dinner.I really wanted to go half & half on a burger and a Lobster roll (sandwich), but N was not hungry enough to get both. Instead, we ordered the “big boy” Lobster roll, where you get 2X the Lobster for an additional R100. As you can see from the photo, it was definitely worth it! You get a side salad and fries, and we did the R29 upgrade for the Black Truffle Parmesan Fries. (The fries were pretty good...I would not really recommend the upgrade though...)With 2 BIG glasses of wine (we liked the Dragon Red), the total bill was less than R400, so this was still a great deal.Side note - this place was awesome. It also could have been in Scottsdale Arizona, New York, or Miami...which is meant to be both descriptive AND a compliment. Enjoy!

We put off going to B&L about 3 or 4 times prior. The delay was honestly worth the wait. Did the whole Valentines set menu - 3 courses. All 3 were GREAT. Champagne was topped up. Service was good, too. Will definitely be back again. Kudos.

Burger and Lobster are an incredible combination of style, cocktails and good food (but also the food items of burger and Lobster pair really well).A staple in our list of restaurants, we come back every time were in town and recommend regularly for date nights or nights out for people who come to visit CT.Their service is exemplary - even when super busy.I recommend the Marigold cocktail and the good ol faithful lobster roll; although the wolf burger is also delicious.

2nd time we pre-ordered and I had to stand and wait for order, for 30-45 mins. We usually pre-order to not have to wait with children. Still had to each time. A bit disappointed each time as they said it would be done in 25mins from when we called. When we arrived, had to wait. Not sure if food is only prepared when I get there. Order was also wrong. So had to wait longer. Food always good but really could improve the order for collection time/ experience

I cannot believe how I got conned.I ordered the Lobster Roll and was encouraged to upgrade to more Lobster, R309 was the price.I was more than happy to invest in an experience that was tempting and unique. Sadly the roll was actually a loaf of bread cleverly sliced. There was no ways that the Lobster was sufficient nor was the dish well seasoned or spiced. The salad offering was an insult. Two onion rings, two croutons and the rest was green leafs. All with a sprinkle of balsamic. The thin fries were deliciously hot and a fair portion.My Partners, Legacy Burger was okay, but definitely not worth the R149. Minimal pickles and sauce was supposed to be overlooked because of a fat serving of patty. Not impressed at all.The menu has 3 items of food and then you need a waiter to explain the floating chalk board. It makes no sense.The service ..... was okay for a burger joint... but not a great experience for a Lobster joint that charges such absorbant prices for Lobster sandwiches and super expensive burgers.I wont bother recommending this establishment.

Ive been here twice. I would recommend anyone to go here when there isnt a crowd. Some customers just love to shout in the conversation. That aside, the food was delicious. I ate the Legendary Burger with guacamole on the side instead of on the burger. Massive improvement, in my opinion. The guac you can rather eat with your loaded fries and Tabasco sauce (pseudo-nachos). Also, @BurgerandLobster, can I get that Jack Daniels sauce you used on the ribs as a take away?
