We had fantastic service today. The system wasnt working 100% but we still received excellent service from Pauline.I had my upgrade sorted out by Shadley in 2019 and that was excellent as well.The customer service definitely seems to be on an up and the consultants mentioned above were very helpful going well above the call of duty to satisfy my requirements.Thanks!

To say I was impressed by the service received at this store is an understatement. Out of sheer desperation found myself in Canal Walk on a Saturday, the day before Fathers Day, mid-third wave in a global pandemic. I was incredibly frustrated with the service received at the other Vodacom store, because I handed my phone in for repairs assessment more than a week before and it had not even been sent to the repairs center, so obviously going to another Vodacom store was not even an option for me. But after going to multiple stores in Canal Walk, I ended up at the Vodacom Repairs Centre with very low expectations.As I walked in, I noticed the store was rather busy, so prepared myself for a long wait. Instead, I was greeted at the door and directed to a consultant, Mark, immediately. Mark was incredibly professional, explained how their process worked, and what I could expect. I think he noticed the look of despair on my face thinking that I would have to return at a later stage to get the necessary work done. He immediately said hell kick off the admin to book the device in, but that he would see what he can do to fast track the work. Imagine my surprise when 20 minutes later I walked out of there, with the work COMPLETED!Again, I was incredibly impressed with Marks professionalism, efficiency and absolute brilliance at understanding a customers needs. Can we please clone him and ship copies to the rest of the Vodacom stores?Side note: I actually spent about an hour looking for a means to submit feedback about my experience to the company directly (that is how impressed I was by the service!), but not an easy process it seems, so opted to post a review here instead.

I went to the shop for an upgrade, and i justqalked in without knowing i had to get a number. So when the assistant asked for my number, i said i dont have one. He went on to explain to me that they work on a number basis. Then he went on to help me anyway. I got what i came for and he also gave me good advice regarding my purchase. Im a happy customer 😁

I stalled on upgrading my account as I find the process rather challenging. I dreaded standing in a queue, waiting for assistance, finding a sales person who would take the time to explain packages and devices associated with an upgrade - the list goes on and on. Cynthia Hodzi met me at the door with a big smile and asked how she could assist. Cynthia immediately took control, assessed my old account statement, pointed out where I overspent and where I could save. She was knowledgeable on the devices on offer and gave her honest opinion all the way. Most importantly she did not try and push me to go for the most expensive phone or package - SHE LISTENED TO WHAT I REQUIRED and advised accordingly. The cherry on top was her attitude, kind, sparkling and going out of her way to help. A HUGE THANK YOU again Cynthia.

They were helpful but weird setup. The system could not pick up my phone details, something about the system is a repair system. After a while the assistant walked to a sales assistant to use their system to identify my phone. It added to time spent there and frustration levels.

I would just like to give Mark a 5 star rating if I could give more I would.Personally one of the best levels of customer service I have ever received. Prompt feedback over the phone and over and beyond excellent in store service.Endless hassles with other service providers for the past 4 weeks. Mark sorted me out within 30min.Well educated in regards to Vodacom Brand and devices. Would recommend anyone to visit the branch and go and see Mark.Truly glad I made the switch in my service provider.

Prepare to wait a very, very long time in the queue. when I was helped as i entered, i was given ticket for my place in the queue. the obvious you can do that transaction online if you like was not mentioned (the consultant who eventually helped me told me).

Useless. I bought a new laptop from vodacom. Got the first one in April. It wouldnt charge was told to return itThat took two months to happenThe new laptop came, only 3 weeks agoIt took a week to try to get it set up including visiting a store for helpI was told they dont help if it was purchased via the telephony offering. The same thing happened, replacement laptop not charging. Theres a battery in the box, they wont install it. I have to once again return it!! I havent been able to work since AprilThis contract will be canceled

I have been tryinv to call the shop for the last 2 hrs to no avail. Did an upgrade on Sun 19 / 9 for which they didnt have stock but was told that it would be by today Wednesday 22 / 9.I feel that tje salesperson or someone could at least have had the decency to let me know that there was a further delay.This is not service one would expect after being a Vodacom cloemt for more than 20 years.

Vodacom in general are laughably pathetic. Issues with double billing, insurance issues, migration issues. The response in a super store?!...here is a number to call...the person on the other side sounds like they didnt make it to high school. Will be cancelling my contract, reversing debit orders as far back as my bank will allow, and changing providers. Criminal what you thieves get up to with corporate tape preventing a face to be labeled a criminal. You are putting your staff in harms way and at risk of taking the brunt.

I went to the store to get the new pay joy promotion and Stephanie Gerbert was so informative and super helpful she passed me on to a team of guys comprising of Reece, Lazola and Musadiq and Annesha, let me tell you there team work was that of our South African Rugby team !!! TOP NOTCH !! Its a new addition to their current system and they worked together and I was truly blown away at their incredible collaborative effort!!! Especially since it was one of the first times either of them had done this, super impressed truly. Thank you Vodacom Canal Walk I will most definitely be back... Asta LA Vista!

Very disappointing for a first-time experience.We were asked to browse the mall for an hour before receiving a call from Reid to verify our application. After 2 hours still no phone call. We went back to the store only to find Reid is on lunch and was told we had outstanding documents...something he could have told us in the first place. A colleague of his checked in with him and told us to email it to him. After doing so, we are still waiting on Reid to contact us. This is a week later already...

I am a pensioner and I visited Vodacom Century city for assistance with my phone ( Sumsung A10s ) When I arrived at the store a woman ( Nthombi ) assist my with my phone. She downloaded al my things on my SD card, and full in all documents because the phone is faulty. She told me I can come back in 4 days. She was very, very helpful ( 10/10 )After 4 days I visited the store again. A man (Damian) told me my phone is un repairable. He assist me to claim from the assurance. He spend about 3 hours to get my claim approved, a woman (Rifqah) also help him with the paperwork. Al 3 persons I wanted to thank you from my bottom of my heart for your assistance, help, and kindness. I told Damiam that I never drink, but I think I need a bottle of Whiskey today. Your manager can be very proud of you ! ! Al of you are excellent people. 10/ 10 is not a good rating. 10/100 is better.Kind regards.Chris de Jongh.

6 months ago I purchased a Samsung S7 tablet and was promised my mouse and Microsoft software to be at the store at the end of the same week. After 4 phone calls and 4 weeks later I decided to go into the store to see the manager...the mouse and software was miraculously at the store ...Last week my wife decided to upgrade her phone at the same store and was promised a call and collection of the watch and air pods by Thursday. I find myself having to run after them again!!!!How frustrating 😔

With the start of lock down, we needed to leave SA very quickly, not being able to sort out everything we needed to in order to sort our dad out with a new phone.We reached out to Vodacom SA and a lovely lady by the name of Karen put us in touch with the guys over at Vodacom Century City.Once they were able to, the team sprung into action and managed, in the middle of a global pandemic, family dramas and two countries, to get our dad a new phone sorted.I want to say a particular thanks to Mansoer and Nazeer who made this all possible and for going above and beyond to help some random stranger half way across the world. They do not answer their phone. I sat in the shop, calling them and they just ignored the phone. I spoke to the manager about that and he said that they had problems with their line but that is sorted and they employed a receptionist. This seems to be untrue. I have been struggling since August 2020 to get my cell phone repaired. To date, 4 Dec 2020, NO ACTION!Will choose a different provider next time after using Vodacom since 1993. Bad service all around.

Hi I attempted to Call vodacom canal walk today and the phone has been ringing all along. I eventually decided to call centre manager of Canal walk and was informed Vodacom that the store does not have a number. Im extremely baffeled by the fact Vodacom a cellphone shop does not have a contact number this is crazy. They have the option to select 1 for repairs, 2 for sales and 3 for reception /admin on the telephone number you dial. Why have a number on the website just take it off and say we dont waste people time and airtime. If you not going to answer the phone.

I have to say that I have been afforded the most excellent service Ive ever experienced at Vodacom Canal Walk by the Gentleman Named Umir. If you need any assistance with deciding a phone to purchase or an upgrade with extras, theres no better place than going physically into the store and talking to one of the sales reps. Big ups to Umir and his team with helping me decide on the new S21 Ultra. I certainly will be looking out for you next time. Vodacom Canal Walk Store certainly make online and telesales look bad lol.
