DONT RENT HERE- staff are unprofessional. They have different rules than other Europcar rental offices in Cape Town.

Such a scam. Go to Avis instead.Cobus, the agent, told us that company policy prohibited him from renting the car we booked through Expedia without paying for additional insurance. When we told him our credit card provided insurance, which is true, he said he couldnt believe us unless we got our credit card company to address him a personal letter saying so. So we called our credit card, and even they couldnt understand his bogus requirement.Complete garbage. Weve rented a handful of times in South Africa without any issue. Cobus was just prejudiced against us and trying to scam us for extra money.
