I contacted this branch once, while in the process of buying a vehicle. Their service was poor and I was able to get a better price through other Ford dealerships (most Ford branches could get me better prices, with the Paarden Island dealership in particular giving me the best price).Now, five years later, Im still getting harassing spam smses, Whatsapps and emails from these individuals. Ive been assured multiple times that they have removed me from the system and will stop the constant stream of garbage, with absolutely no effect.Buying a vehicle involves a lot of interactions with the dealership after purchase. If this group of people are to incompetent to remove someone from their marketing list, do you really want them handling your this admin for you?

Came into the store to have a look at a couple of vehicles I was interested in and was completely overlooked. There were plenty of staff and salesmen on the floor doing nothing but chatting to each other and playing on their phones. I am a big client of Ford N1 city and I have never experienced service like this there.

Took almost 30 minutes to check in the car for a service at 7:15am. One person running off her feet trying her best but still slow to do only 4 cars when I was there. Eventually someone helped me. Earned a second star in this review. .

Asked a quote for parts on Friday 19 March after my cars service, guy asked if its fine to email it to me I said yes. Its the 25th of March today and still no email. And why Email? I was right there all he had to do was check the prices!

The service for me is not up to scratch. I waited for 25 minutes before I could check my car in for a service and was not given attention or an update before that. This seems to be the trend with my experience over the last 3 years. Never left there impressed.

Got there 7.45.... Was told to be there at 7.00. the gate was only open pass 7. Lady alone parking in the road while its still dark it was very scary, the lady I was dealing with got no customer etiquette and too crown it all I was told to pay for my service, I was under the impression this is my last service under my maintenance plan.... Just sucks

I asked the service advisor for a quote to have my annual service done. Quote was emailed to me and I accepted the quote telephonically. Go to the dealer and guest what,they told me they forgot to add the spark plugs and labour to have it replace. I had a bit of a bantering with the service advisor about and demanded that this be covered by them and not me. How can you quote a client then tell me you forgot to add certain small items which now pushes up the price?Last time Im taking my vehicle there...😡😡😡

Excellent after sale services

I have been servicing from here because the previous owner was doing the same. They have consistently failed to update their database to my details from the previous even after countless taking of my details. I wanted a repair done and tried to book in my car for two weeks and just kept being told I would get a call back. It never happened. When I called in again, I had to redo the entire process because no one was paying attention to actually order the said parts or even update my details. Very frustrating!.

Pathetic service from the servicing department from the service administrator to management .There is nothing personal over there one gets treated like a number and everything gets done quick .After this review they will ask me to leave my details so that they can call me , good luck to me im still waiting for the service administrator and management to give me a call regarding my car.Its a gamble to take your car there , one will be lucky to win there.Communication is weak !

Awful. Consistent with my experience 5 weeks ago. Totally indifferent service. No one wearing masks, one staff member sneezing right into the service area. Only get a response from them if you complain to management first. Then they wake up.

Incredible organised band of human peeps all on one mission....to serve....the vehicle and its driver. I am so impressed ...it felt like coming home....well done to Leila and all . ..from the moment I arrived to the time I collected my vehicle....I was looked after and I felt like a real customer.

PatheticCalled several times to book a service. The calls to service department either go unanswered or I get told the person who does the bookings is too busy to answer the call. Call backs never happen and so didnt even bother with an online booking.

When my car was booked for a service and on arrival of service date I was told there is no booking found for my car and was helped by 2 very rude ladies at the service department sis disgusting service from a big company like Ford taking my business elsewhere thank you and good luck to those doing business with them N1 city Ford here I come

Mekor terrible post-sales. Dont answer emails, phonelines drop, confused service people, didnt follow up on servicing, I wasnt happy with the car post-service... and I just discovered they forgot to stamp our service book! Changed to Ford Culemborg and they have been fantastic.

I would not recommend them for various reasons: 1. I haven’t been contacted about my car’s recent service. 2. They lost my service book. 3. They returned my car unwashed and made me wait an hour for collection after telling me it was ready. 4. I was told that the person working on my car had not been to work in weeks and was facing disciplinary action. 5. Possessions were taken from my car. 6. Completely overpriced! What a rip-off.I’d recommend Imperial Ford Cape Town instead.

The after sales service at Mekor Ford is excellent. You get message reminders of appointments you book and Zack (one of the consultants) is highly professional. I receive fantastic service each time I am there. They also offer a shuttle service to and from.

I would like to thank Mekor Ford and in particular commend Clinton for superb service this week. I was on my way to have my car put through a road-worthy test when I found out at the last moment that one brake light did not work. Not only did Clinton attend to my car immediately but I was treated to a cappuccino while I waited and when it came to paying I was told it was all on the house! What wonderful service - THANK YOU!!!

Terrible and overpriced. They let me leave the workshop with a bolt missing from my car, leaving me to drive with terrible sounds coming from my engine. I went back and they admitted to not putting a bolt back. Then another staff member said it was just something loose. I explained that they went to fetch the bolt infront of me. Not acceptable. Careless work could lead to bad accidents. I will never go back.

Served snacks when i was there. Staff is very busy. Makes it difficult to sit down and discuss important things. But then again they are also very energetic

I went there 2 days ago to make an appointment for my cars service & to get a quote of what it would cost. I was asked if Id need to be dropped off after leaving my car there. I indicated that I would.I left my car there this morning. Staff were friendly & helpful, especially the young lady who was my service advisor and had booked my appointment and coordinated the entire process, the young man who did a pre-service inspection of my car, and the lady who transported me from the service center, a real people person. When my car was ready to be collected my service advisor called to inform me.What impressed me & why Id go back:1. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff.2. The quote Id been given was extremely accurate.3. Id lost my ID but theyd found it in my car (under a seat probably) and left it in my cubby.

When buying a new car:Get it in writing, every single minute detail of the deal. You can rely on nothing verbally. Do not trust that the salesmen are giving you an accurate description of an accessory which you have not yet seen an exact and full sample of yourself. Do not pay a single cent in advance for any part you have not yet seen with your own eyes and received in your hand. Do not assume that ordered parts will arrive by the dates stated by the salesmen. Do not be taken in by smiles and bible verses. Know and despair that this is a deeply chauvinistic industry.These views are my own.

Called into this dealership to make a service appointment.Could not even get to speak to a bookings clerk to book my vehicle in.Decided to call another dealership as ford cost me alot of money last year because I was 1 week late on a service, of course fords fault, but I guess the customer had to pay.

I was assured a lift after dropping my car and one back to collect it. I dropped my car at 7:30 and request a lift to get me to campus in time for my lecture at 8. I was told an arrangement would be made. I then had to wait until 8:05 to leave as the driver hadnt put any petrol in his car. Further I had to sit around as other people who arrived later than myself were given lifts ahead of me. As a result I missed my entire lecture. To make matters worse I agreed with the driver that he would collect me at 3. By 3:25 I had not heard or seen from him and a call to Mekor proves pointless as no one could be found. Eventually I was contacted by the driver who said he would be delayed a bit and wanted to check on someone else first, but hopefully only until 3:30. This was at 3:29 and the driver had clearly not left Mekor yet. Im extremely disappointed in this level of unprofessionalism and poor service, it session to show a lack of concern or care for the customer and our time.
