So I took my Chev Utility 1.4 to them for its 35000 km dealer service. They contacted me on the day to to say that my front brake discs needed replacing, and that there were small chips on my windscreen that needed fixing. I was shocked at the price quoted for the windscreen considering that most insurance companies do it for free. I also argued that a car with only 35000 km mostly used for moderate drives to shops an friends would need new dics. So I declined both advisories. I later took the car to an independent service agent to get a second opinion about the brake discs and after a quick inspection reported the discs were fine and needed no replacement. So my advice to all of you is not to trust everything they say...dealerships will advise repairing things that dont fall under warranty because they can charge for it..they use peoples misplaced trust and naivety to milk what they can...its a fast turnaround cash cow for them.
