Its a very cute building and has a great view from inside the café. Sadly it doesnt mean much to me as they really dont cater for vegans and vegetarians. We ended up having a dead average cappuccino with Soya milk, as that is the only vegan milk alternative they had. The prices are also extremely overpriced as you can imagine. Overall not impressed, wont be visiting again, will rather take my own food and drink up. Only gave 3 stars because of the view.
The cable car parking was a bit full but not a problem cableway run up and down was very good 10 minutes each way and the walk around the top of the Mountain was also good amazing scenery. I had lunch there as well which was good
Its a warm and cozy place to have some coffee and snacks after a cold trek on the mountain.
What a wonderful experience. The only thing I dont understand is how people cant grasp the concept that the floor turns and you dont need to move. Almost had to rugby tackle the guy next to me who wouldnt stand on one spot trying to get to the open window....Other than that everything was pristine and simply amazing
This is a stunning destination! Spectacular views of Cape Town and the surrounding area. Please note thought that during Covid-19 the staff are not enforcing 1,5m distancing rules and temperatures are not checked on arrival. This does make you feel vulnerable after visiting a spot that is frequented by so many people. Find parking on the side of the mountain as you go up or on the otherside of the building on your way up the mountain.(Suggested Innovation: An audio tour of the city and the mountain from the top of the mountain.)
The cafe experience was surprisingly good. It felt a bit disorganised and chaotic, under the lockdown and covid regulations.Once we were able to enter due to only 30 being allowed inside at a time, We had to figure out where to go, what to do and get our food. But at least when the food order was in, the kitchen was quick with the food, it was tasty and affordable. So an above average experience. If you have any older people in your party, dont be shy to ask for a seat for them, if you dont do it, no one else will.Tip: Do the guided tours on Table Mountain!
This was phenomenal if youre at Cape Town make sure this is on your to do list
What a wonderful experience. The top of the mountain is like another planet.
Beautiful views and tasty Mac n cheese and pizza slice 🍕.
Beautiful, breath taking views, and well worth the visit each time Im there, I feel on top of the world🌍 literally👌
Great service. Everyone that works there are so welcoming and respectful! Definitely something to experience.
Exhilarating hike up Plattekloof gorge and then what can one add to the magnificence of God’s artistry of Table mountain.
Platteklip is the best way up the mountain. It is free the people on the route is friendly and everyone is so positive. The shop onto of the mountain is expensive but the view makes up for it.The only thing that can be improved is the price for the cable car. It is to expensive for South Africans!
You have to pay and order for the coffee without a menu. It eventually did pop up on the screen a few tills away, but with a signal error in the middle of the screen, blocking a substantial part of the screen.I would have liked to have had a muffin or something to go with the coffee, but to find a price is almost impossible. Unfortunately the prices are geared for tourists and makes it an expensive outing for locals, so we have to check. The coffee was mediocre to put it mildly. The actual cable car and ticketing staff were absolutely amazing 👏👌
Awesome hike. A definite must-do for anyone visiting CT or looking to explore. Incredible views of Camps Bay and Lions Head
What an awesome experience. A sunny day brings the cable car 800 per hour. Awesome experience and fabulous food to buy on top of the mountain. Expect an hour wait if you come in the morning. Afternoon not so busy. Views are awesome
Clean, Covid-19 compliant trips. View was spectacular! Weather was fantastic! Friendly staff!
Enjoyed the day great views of the mother city. Be prepared to spend allot of cash its expensive up there
Everything was incredible, the ride up breathtaking. Seeing those scaling cliffs float past as the cable cart made the final approach really made everyone gasp! The wait was hectic though. Dont go in a school holiday unless you are really kitted out and prepared to stand and sit for about 2 hours in the queues. For pensioners, bring your ID/Passport. You can look like Moses shaking and tripping all over your grey beard - no ID, no discount! The views were amazing and I spoke to many people from over the world. Its quite a tourist attraction. In foreign currency terms its basically for free. Very good value. There is a restaurant, souvenir shop and toilets on top. As mentioned, If you choose a busy in-season day, be prepared to wait..The staff was very friendly and helpful and did their best to make us comfortable and manage all the people and school children. My Time Frame:Queue wait to go up: 2h20Time spend on top about 1hQueue wait for down trip about 35minI went mid morning. Bad time. Go either very early or after lunch, or call for advice.Buying tickets online can save lot of time as you skip one queue. Bring sun screen! All in all a wonderful trip, Ill definitely do it again, but during a more quiet time.
Cableway services the top of Table Mountain, one of the modern 7 Wonders of the World. Wondrous views of the mountain and City on the short safe journey.
Lovely little store. Great pastries and coffee, just a tad expensive but it was to be expected for such a high tourist attraction. Seating is limited due to social distancing.
Most beautiful place, loved it..
Wow what a an experience. I can wait to go up again. And make sure that we are there early before the clouds chase us.
Lovely adventure for friends and family. Dont forget to take a jacket, water and hat with. Can be cold on mountain.
It was a quick and easy trip up the mountain, even with wifes disability.
Must go for everyone awesome place. I photograph up the montain is a must when in Cape Town.
So efficient. Loved the cableway. Felt safe and secure the whole time.Had a good lunch at the café at the top and beautiful views! Well worth it especially with kids 5 and up.
Wooooo It Was A good Experience, I Loved It We will Come back soon
A great way to visit the top of Table Mountain, see the wonderful views and explore the unique flora and trails. Well worth the price of admission (though you can get a free return ticket during your birthday month). The cable cars run every few minutes, weather dependent so check the website regularly for updates on services on the day.
Must see! One of the 7 wonders of the world!Excellent service, friendly staffBrilliant experienceGo in your birthday month free of charge with RSA ID
An awesome place to take tourists spectacular sites to view one tip, wake up early and be there before 9h00 or else u que, over 60 rates at great
It was nice but it was not budget friendly. I would rather they sold good old fashioned slap chips / french fries or a chip n dip... Something more affordable because not everyone that goes there are privileged and are able to afford the return trip and meals.
Oh the beauty of the Cape! There is no better place to become awestruck and fall in love with the wonders of our planet!
Great experience!🤗
Like everything touristy in Cape Town... A 5 star experience with efficient staff and good facilities. The new cable cars are awesome, they rotate 360 so you get a full view as you ascend up the mountain. The view up there is just breathtaking. An experience to remember.
Just love being on the top of the mountain.
A great place where you can see the whole city. I recommend to visit Table Mountain at sunset.
Good place to relax and have a hot coffee and bites after walking around the Table Top. Coffee is honestly not all that great...it is just that you need something hot inside you after walking around in the cool breeze. It is usually crowded as can be expected.
It wasnt that pricey, compared to everything else in Cape Town, which is all overpriced. Food was nice.
Now that was amazing 👏
Lovely amazing views.... 💜 Beautiful experience and friendly atmosphere
Always a joyful experience. I really like that you can take a pram up comfortably with your little ones. Also the cable carts closes at 4pm these days
Atmosphere perfect,love it.
The easiest way to get to the top of Table Mountain. Is true that you can walk there, but will take you at least one hour climbing it. If you have the change, the walk there is great.
Our own wonder of nature. A must visit
An Absolutely Fun Filled Family Experience. Ensure that the weather is clear before making plans to visit as the Cable Way is weather dependent. Pro Tip - Buy Tickets online as it will allow you to jump the initial queue outside the building
The best experience ever
The views, the service, the employees, the experience - all top class
If your ever up table mountain please do not hesitate to eat at the cafe ! They have good home cooked meals and it’s not that costly
Beautiful place to visit with the most fantastic views.
A must visit, Breathtaking views and good food from the Restaurant on top.
Fantastic views from the top of Table Mountain.A short and a Long walk around the top gives a 360 degree view of the city and the Atlantic Ocean.
Although the weather did not play along, the misty cloudy day made it all the more an awesome experience. My third, my childs first. Will definitely go again.
It was a great experience! Very very hot and an extremely long wait to get in the cable car because it was very busy
When in Cape Town one just has to visit Table MountainThe cable car ride up is great and with the moving floor everyone gets a full 360 view on the way up and down.
What an amazing experience on top of the world, the sights a breath taking this is a must do for your bucket list. I abseiled of the side of the mountain and what experience it was.
Loved the coffee 😊
It is a wonderful place to visit
Professional staff and super efficient and helpful. Mountain was clean and obviously wonderful.
The cable car ride was nice but the café at the top was overpriced, the portions very small and they had a poor selection of food.
Had coffee and it was very nice.
Cant explain how cool of an experience it was too watch the sunset, wine in hand, with the girlfriend. One of the coolest places Ive ever had the pleasure of going. Its worth the time we spent the by far!
Friendly service big selection of goods fantastic view
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Am keen to hike up table Mountain now. Decent prices, quick conveninet trip on an icy cold day 🌹
Amazing 👏friendly staff the works
