Didnt sit down so I cant judge the coffee etc; we were greeted by a man sitting at a table by the entrance, working on a laptop. Not sure if he worked there or not as he didnt stand up or offer to help us. We werent helped so we left, also because it seemed cramped with only a few tables, and there didnt seem to be any free tables.

Lovely lunch. The Caesarea salad was sublime!

The coffee is quality and food good. However there is not much seating so if you expecting to just walk in and get a table you might be disappointed.Recent experience, service really dropped here.

From the 2 visits I made I can say the food and coffee are delicious. It appears to be frequented by very regular locals who are greeted by name by their friendly staff. Nice and quiet despite being so close to busy Claremont. Nice that they have far earlier opening hours than other places in the area

Beautiful little spot to meet friends and have coffee.

Coffee and breakfast here never disappoints. Your only concern is, will there be sufficient seating with everyone that is there for same experience. They have a small menu but you can see it has allowed them to really perfect each dish and the coffee is just amazing.

My favourite lunch and tea eatery in the suburbs. So beautifully decorated. A lovely place to meet. The orange chiffon cake is my favourite!

Its a nice space for a morning cup of coffee. The service is friendly and efficient. Coffee and food is all worth the price! My only problem is that there isnt even space to get in, or get out, the outdoor seating. Otherwise its a good place.

I would now like to edit my previous review. As mentioned, I visit on a regular basis. Today was my last visit however. I got served a coke in a dirty glass with finger prints still on it and something that looked like tomato seeds floating between the ice. The waiter did remove the glass and came back with a clean one. A few mintes later the chicken mayo arruved. Not once did he visit the table to ask if everything was OK. As customer, you have to go in and ask for service and also to ask if you may pay. But the cherry on top was the price this place now charges for a coke. A week or two ago it cost R16. Today it costs R37. How on earth is that justifiable? Talk about hyperinflation. When I questioned the waiter on this, he said the owner is expensive and that the price is written on the black board. So I am going to do as starlings do and fly away...

Spectacular place to meet for a breakfast and or lunch. The indoor ambience is amazing for sure with its cozy fireplace however in the hotter summer months you certainly want to be in the backyard of this house venue type restaurant. There is not many vegan options but really good foods and not exactly the cheapest. Expect to spend personally from R80 - R125. Great for meetings and doing work as well. Internet is not the quickest however so dont expect to stream YouTube and or make WhatsApp calls here with ease. Its not a place for that in any case but the meals are great for sure. Staff is well curated and service is above average. Enjoy it.

A great neighborhood location for a coffee shop. You feel like youre at a neighbors house. There is a small shop selling local merchandise inside as well, it does take up a lot of space that could be used for seating, but it wasnt a bother. Overall, the coffee was great!

Ive had lunch here a few times. Service good but be patient it takes a bit longer and when it comes out, the food is great. Super fresh, simple, tasty. Fyi no beer or wine on the menu.

This stunning little cafe is a hidden gem in the backstreets of Claremont. They offer a range of great light meals and drinks, in their cosy, tranquil surrounding. The staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful over the many times I have visited.

Nice and cozy little place done in eclectic, cottage style decor. Besides food, they also offer an interesting, select and tasteful variety of collectable houseware products. Nice neighborhood corner location with a really spacious L-shaped stoep with quite a bit of outdoor seating.Always friendly and the food is never disappointing.Prices are very acceptable and parking is street but not a problem.

Although prices can be higher than in some other places , the place is cosy and you can relax easily. Staff is friendly and the view is nice.
