Wonderful place, buzzing on weekends. Beautiful view. Food and service was great! Fresh, delicious and big portions. Had the falafel bowl with added avo, and an Iced coffee! Really tasty. Only thing was the food took a considerable amount of time to prepare.

I visited at 08:30 on a weekday morning for a cup of coffee before shopping. The restaurant was packed, with every table full, and some tables inside were a bit close together for my liking. I opted for a table outside, which was lovely. The fresh air, stunning view and fantastic coffee made for a relaxing start to my morning.I had a cappuccino with a carrot muffin, which was delicious and took a takeaway almond Danish, which was equally delicious.Definitely recommend!

They were quite busy, but despite this the service was good and Covid protocols upheld.Coffee, tea and baked goods we ordered were great.

Restaurant is always packed which is well deserved as the coffee, food & cakes are all delicious. Even though they always packed the service is good & the waiting times reasonable. The only reason they do not get 5 stars is that you are limited to breakfast before 11:45 (or 11:30 Im not 100% sure now) and then lunch from 12 onwards. If limits your options if you feel like a late brunch or early lunch. But other than that no complaints

Frequent the Restuarant. Today, Saturday 12 June 2021. Very disappointing . Never had to wait as long as we did for our order. Super long. When our order arrived, cheese and bacon beef burgers sadly we all received chicken burgers. I do not know how a waiter can mistake chicken for beef. Huge difference. Also after we in detail discussed who would appreciate which level of medium to well done etc. The waitress offered to place a re order, however we did not have the time to wait as extensively perhaps again. What was truly uncool is for the waitress to NOT OWN HER ERROR. The fact according to her, at least I received a coffee on the house does in no way, replace why we specificity chose to return there to enjoy the mentioned. Neither her interest to ensure at least our chicken burgers tasted nice. Sure, however, not what we wanted, ordered, or expected to receive. We are people whom understand service and watering too well. All my children started with waitering positions before achieving top positions in S. A top restaurants , fine dining etc. We do understand how service work as much as how owning your errors, could grow a person. Being more than your ability verbally instead if paying attention and focusing does not improve your skills.

Located in Willowbridge, Ou Meul Bakkery is everything you love about the Cape Town food scene. Cafe style vibe with restaurant service and delicious food. Service was efficient and there was a very short waiting time before we received our food. Menu is varied and very appealing with healthiet options available. There is inside and outside seating and like the rest of the centre Ou Meul is powered by a generator when there is loadshedding. Enjoyed the experience very much!

Met friend here for quick bite and catchup. Hidden away in a weird little stripmall but isnt shy in service and vibe and food is great!Largish menu with breakfast and brunch type fare, opted for the bacon and cheese burger and was brilliant.Bootleggers coffee is their house brand and the service attentive and just top notch.Love this spot, there are a few around Cape Town and any will be as good.

Set in the heart of Williwbridge shopping centre this eatery is an absolute gem. No matter whether you indulge in pastries or good old favourites you will never be disappointed. I was was again happily indulged with a bun free burger. The service is hit and miss depending on how busy the restaurant gets.I squeezed in another visit again this weekend (June 2019) and had a lovely curry. They were kind enough to put it on a bed of green instead of rice to accommodate my lchf lifestyle.

First and last visit😔Seated at a uneven table and a drip spot. Latte arrived cold. Toasted banana bread arrived cold and took too long for food to arrive. Ordered a Red Velvet Latte, very different to their Instagram pic. Tasted disgusting and looked awful.

A coffee milkshake made from Bootlegger coffee co. is amazing!Take a seat outside and enjoy a host of various food suitable for all diet types.

It is a nice place to visit, but it is a very expensive place and I am not sure if you always get the value for the money you spend. But there is a very nice vibe there.

Yummy food and comfy neat area and nice background music. The cheese sauce was delicious and I enjoyed the salad. The waiters were friendly and they asked if we needed anything else. A great place to have a casual time with friends or to take somone on a date to have a good one on one conversation not having to talk too loud. Would recommend to go there if you want some healthy food options.

Had the salmon salad at lunch time.Was one of the best salads I have had.It was very fresh and the portion was large and well presented.Friendly waitress and a nice atmosphere.Will go back just to have the salmon salad.

Popped in with friends for brunch, and as a vegan I will not go back again. There is one vegan breakfast option, a smoothie bowl (a great summer option) and one option available for after 11am. Theres a special menu with oats on, but the restaurant was not willing to substitute cows milk because the oats were already made. Enquired about bread, but not vegan.Had black coffee, went home hungry.Extra star is for the staff who were embarrassed that they did not have more options.So, if youre vegan - go two stores away to Sweetbeet, they rework their oats to be vegan. 🌱

There is only 2 vegan options on the menu, of which neither is a hot meal. So one person in our party did not eat.They need to step up their game and have more vegan alternatives!

Its a lovely little restaurant, and food is okay. Just a pity the restaurant is now limited with their menu due to the pandemic so we couldnt actually order what we went there to order. But all in all no complaints, its a was a good experience.

Judging by the breakfast crowd there isn’t much anybody can say to add or subtract from the Ou Meul brand except get there early or you are going to have to queue. The quality of their food is top notch. The eggs benedict is perfect. Although the portion may look small on the otherwise empty plate, once that delicious sourdough hits your tummy, you know it is just right. Worst comment I can dare give is that the service was a little slow but let’s be fair, the place is packed.

My fiance and I sat down to have a nice brunch. However, it turned out to be a disaster. We sat down at 11:40am and the waiter made us aware that we only have 5 minutes to order something from the breakfast menu until 11.45am spot was cut off time. He came back at 11.44 and told us we must order our breakfast now or we will have to order from the main menu. My fiance refused to be pressurized by the waiter so she started looked at the main meal, nevermind breakfast. However, I wanted an omlette so I chose the next best toppings on the menu just to get the order in. The waiter stormed off and placed my order. When he came back my fiance wanted to order her meal from the main meals part. To our surprise the waiter advised us that main meals can only be ordered at 12pm. So we were expected to wait 15 minutes in order to put my fiances order in. This was enough for me, I canceled all my orders and we went to another place where we experienced a much better service.I was very upset about the way we were treated and pressurized into making a choice by the bad waiter and then also expected to wait until 12pm to place the 2nd order. Very bad experience.

Very picturesque wide open space of greeneries and tree and some very impressive palatial homes built on the slopes of the hill! The Breakfast’s & Lunches which are served here are more on the gourmet sandwich style done on real sour-bread and croissants! The variations are plenty and no matter which one you choose always taste insidious-lii delicious just as the one which we chose today! We settled for the Avocado-Smash which is made up of a slice of sour-bread, avocado, pooched eggs, bacon and grilled cheese some with some rocket leaves and the Full Monty which is a big crisp-ii croissant, scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon and some rocket leaves! Absolute-lii scrumptious! They also have some very professional Barista’s here because your different coffees are always served very artistically and magical-lii pure high class coffee beans are used for Flat-Whiles, Latte’s and also the y serve a Magic-Flat-White here which comes in a glass, pure delight! The place is always full and has a vibe of its own matter! The manager and staff are always pleasant, helpful and professional! Prices are good for the excellent food and drinks on offer, they do serve alcohol drinks here too! As it’s also a bakery various breads and cakes are available to enjoy on-site or take-outs! For us we just love it here and today our visit was for a surprise 65th birthday breakfast which turned out to be magical and an unforgettable celebration! A place worth a visit and it won’t cost an arm and a leg!........................Wow! What a Snazzii cool venue to sit down and look around you through the glass wall that surround just about the whole restaurant! To the one side is the picturesque Tygervalley hill with the massive parks filled with trees and lots of green-rii and also some nice apartment blocks! This place is busy most times of the day so it tell you that people love coming here to enjoy good foods! The staff are very friend-lii and very efficient, you are welcomed in a pleasant manner shown to your seats, order for drinks taken and almost immediate-lii your very snazzii-lii decord cappuccinos are served! We decided to have a croissant with scrambled eggs & crisp-ii bacon which turned out to be insidious-lii delicious and very filling! We enjoyed the ambiance and the vibe here and will come back here again in the future!......Today 3rd August 2018! ... B-day B-fast...our very favourite spot to celebrate special occasions! The vibe is awesome! So is the very exquisite foods on offer! And it always a surprise when the manager recognizes us and comes to chat for a bit! What a find. Absolutely great breakfast gem. Had the avo hummus toast which had generous avo and hummus spread and 2 perfectly poached eggs served on sourdough. Coffee was equally great courtesy of bootleggers coffee company. Could not help myself and decided to try it the bran muffin which was very tasty and stealthily eaten by my nephew without me knowing. Great value for money.

Great coffee if you enjoy a dark roast. Food is beautifully presented and delicious. Outside area can get a little windy but theres plenty of seating inside.Staff are well trained and friendly, though the orders are taken by your waitress and served by kitchen staff (?) so miscommunication can be difficult to clear up.

Ou Meuls generally offer consistent good service and food, and this one is o exception. However, it always surprises me that contact-less payment options such as Snapscan or Zapper are not offered by restaurants, as is the case here.

Yesterday i had breakfast there and 1st of all the food looked terrible, the eggs looked like it fell off a train, and second of all, the waitress, no one came to ask after the food was dropped off if every thing was ok.Bad service.Within in an hour a fell terrible ill with diaree and vomiting, i was bed bound for the rest of the day. So i obviously got food poisoning from there food.It was literally the only thing i ate all day, so it can only be there food.It was a truly terrible experience, and would never recommend that anyone go eat there.I certainly wont be back.Bad service and off food...

Lovely venue with lots of varied seating. Friendly efficient service. I didnt find the food great but it was good. 4 cheese muffins were over baked and my coffee was not quit hot enough but a pleasant morning.
