REALLY BAD BUTCHERY. Bought Club Steaks in a marinade. Ended up throwing it all away, the meat was off, washed in vinigar and the sugar marinade was used to try and hide the vinigar and off taste.I will not buy from here again even though its just across my house. So sad

Nice place to grab something quickly after work, do not expect to do a massive weekly shop here but for a quick pick is all good.

I managed to get great fruit and veggies today, but I was shocked at how many shoppers were wearing masks incorrectly and not adhering to the 1.5 m social distancing. No staff member was at the entrance to ensure mask wearing and sanitation. Furthermore there were children in the shop with a bicycle and scooter. Is this a shop or a playground?

I do not visit the Spar Vredekloof on a regular basis as it is a distance from my home. The times I visited them was to get their ribs and chips. Their ribs are by far the best in the area! I will highly recommend it to anyone. Their service is also top class!

Fully stocked shelves, multiple tills open, a friendly atmosphere, a well run Spar, the staff and management always available to assist with any quesions or requirements.

The time indicated for closing time on google doesnt match with reality.3 times i go at 8.00-8.15pm,and the spar is closed, while indicating 9.30pm on google.Pls can someone update closing times?Terribly unprofessional.

Extremely busy. Though have very good sanitizing in place , customer squeeze past each other in the aisles which is high risk for contracting covid 19. Nothing wrong with the SPAR itself.

This Spar is conveniently located, always clean, friendly and helpful staff (management, not so much though). The store always has just what you need - I come here almost every day. Their meat selection is the best, and I always choose to buy here for a braai. Fresh produce is borderline limited but I usually find what need. And I think theyre improving

NO SERVICE; NO STARS====================My trip to SPAR was terrible and embarassing, SPAR advertised special eg. a Hamper of R150 for R49.00.I am a Pensioner and thought this is a great bargain.My wife and I went to the *first Spar at Cape Gate; and enquiered about the special; we waited for ±45 minutes and were told there was one item they did not have in stock so they cant give us the hamper.*We went to the second SPAR and were told that the same thing.*We went to the third Spar, we were then told the were not part of that advert. What a lot of hogwash - My take on this matter is that maybe quite a few customers came and enquiered; *and the message of out of stock of certain items in the hamperhad been passed around to the different shops.*My experience with SPAR was to say the least disapointing and embarrassing.No more SPAR for me and any of my family membersThats for sure.*Goodbye!!! SPAR.*

Best Spar Ive been too. The staff is super friendly and helpful, I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in. They always have fresh items in the bakery, yummy cakes and desserts. Good variety of fruit and veg for a small shopping center. And they also support local charities.

Very clean and spacious isles. Not just as a convenience store but also suitable for a whole lot of shopping under one roof. The deli has a lot more variety as they also cater for fast food lovers. Latest Hi-Tech facilities, all to simplify your shopping experience. Very impressive.

This has got to be my favourite SPAR right after the one in Gezina, Pretoria. Its clean, the staff members are friendly and the food cooked inside is delicious - always good to have on days Im lazy to cook.The building is not the biggest, but it is neatly stocked up with ideal necessities.

Its almost from the special on the toiletpaper that is two for 50 on the promotion paper that they dont have stock and staff leave there boxes standing everywhere in ailes where the customers must walk and manager are just making jokes and stand around doing nothing

Vredekloof and Cape Gate Spar are both the most convenient and best situated shops for us. Vredekloof Spar has best bakery, butchery and hot foods( especially the ribs&chips ). Cape Gate Spar is best for Sunday Carvery and monthly specials.

If everything is like the bakery, my friends it must be one of the best spars in western cape/Africa, didnt know if the bun I was eating was a cresant or if I was just that hungry 😝

Spotless store friendly staff but on average 10 to 25 percent more expensive that spar paradys park or blomtuin so the little drive further down the road might be worth it depending what kind of shopping you going to do. For daylies bread and milk maybe but i wont spend 100 bucks on a steak i can get for 50 to 60

Spar, Vredekloof is spotlessly clean! Friendly staff and bakery and meal section well presented. Daughter and husband raves about it. Now I know why.....
