Always a pleasure to shop in this clean and well organised store. Always find a bargain or two ! The prepared food is tasty and always fresh. The prepared grilled rack of ribs is really good and served with a good portion of chips. Staff always pleasant and exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Got home now and noticed I had 2 prices on my cheese? With 2 different weights? I weight the cheese to see which one is right, take a guess what happened... Both are wrong. Please check your products before over selling to customers.

Ive been supporting this store for many years and have always appreciated their good service. Im very unhappy with my last visit thought. I sent my 13 year old son to buy Croissants while I was getting other things. He stood there for 10 minutes while they helped everyone around him and just ignored him. Half way through my girlfriend flagged one of the personell. The guy there came out, helped the person in front and then left again. I know you can serve yourself but to be honest, all the times my girlfriend and I got something from the bakery someone helped us as we were getting the stuff. I did try to resolve the message via thir Facebook account first but got no feedback. Im not nearly as enthusiastic about going there as I used to be.

Normally one will not find stock of specials if you go later on Saturday and/or Sunday. Got fabulous bananas and sweet, juicy minneolas as advertised late Saturday afternoon @ incredible price👌😁

Love the variety of fresh salads. The prepared meals a good size, have option of a single portion or small family size and well priced too. The freshly baked bread has a huge variety. Great store always so neat and clean. Staff friendly and polite. They offer good specials too.

Upgraded recently. My little quickspar is a walk away from my home for me. Love it. Always has the basics. Always clean and cashiers always friendly. Jerry, one of the car guards is always very accommodating and the sushi is some of the best in Somerset West.

Thank you for installing a hand sanitising station. The shop is much improved with the renovations, but it can still get crowded from time to time. It is a great shop around the corner with most basics and decent pre-prepared food options.

Always a pleasure to visit Davie and his team at my local Spar. Always friendly staff and a well stocked shop with bakery and Sushi counter, made to order. Parking is sometimes very busy but very seldom totally full.

The teller want wearing her mask properly, didnt sanitize her hands before touching the stuff Id bought even though there was have sanitizer at her station. When i asked her to put her mask on properly she was quite rude to me. I know that working as a teller now must be really stressful, but its also a huge risk for me going shopping if they arent taking the risk mitigation seriously. I wont be going here again.

A great one-stop centre. Spar is small but offers good selection and quality. Nice bakery, quality meat section and a pop up coffee experience as you enter. The surrounding shops include a Tops, chemist, great pizza outlet, vet clinic and a Fish and Chip shop. ATMs available.

Always a pleasure shopping here. Their meat and bread selections are great! On the day they didnt have the cakes they had advertised on Facebook which was hugely disappointing, but thats the first glitch in all my years of shopping there. Dont leave without a slice of pork belly roasted on premises - divine

Love this classy little Spar. Fresh produce, great product selection, clean, friendly cashiers and good service. This is my pop in Spar on my to work, and often back home again. And there are always freshly baked croissants each morning!

Service is a bit slow BUT very friendly.Best priced lamb in the town. Great range of rolls and breads baked daily and some really tasty pre prepared meals.

This Spar is family owned and staff was always very friendly. Recently staff turnover has been high and the camaraderie has gone - hopefully it will improve again. Choice is basic but sufficient, sometimes a bit pricey, but prepared food is very good value for money and specials are also very good.

Firstly. The out of stock situation has deteriorated badly over the years. The basic basic foostuffs are usually sold out, but never replenished on time. They do not increase their purchases on their best sellers. And as the number of clients decreases, so the prices increase to cover the shortfall. Retail is run on a 80/20 principle. 80% of your turover comes from 20% of your product. Your Spar tries to be all things to all people. You stock products that have a very slow sell-off rate. Thus tying up your OTB. You then have no OTB to buy your best or fastest selling products to cover the wholes in the shelves. Firstly, you need to understand your customer. And you dont have a clue who they are.A point to note is that out of all the cigarette outlets around, the petrol station prices are the highest. You dont bother doing external marketing research to check your competitors. But they do check your pricing. And on my brand, are cheaper than any Spar. They are taking a lot of your clients away. You are also surrounded by the biggest supermarkets, ie PnP, Checkers and Woolworths. With a Shoprite down the road. But you continuously push your prices in a desparate economic situation.The last comment I will make is regarding your staff and sevice. You treat your staff poorly. And you have already driven away your best staff.You, as an owner, should first care for and develop your staff. You cannot run a supermarket on your own. It is run by the people you employ. A good manager surrounds himself by the best people he can recruit. The staff you have got, only work for the money.There is no loyalty. But loyalty is earned.The last thing is quite easy. The owners do all the orders. Who is running the shop while your head is buried in paper. Most stores have a Replenishment clerk, who can do a better job.An owner/manager is there to do the overall management of the store. Study your clients. Who are they. Whats in there trolleys. Welcome to our Spar. IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WERE LOOKING FOR THAT YOU DID NOT FIND. Its called lost sales.Just talk to your clients. They will tell you what you need to know.Retail is detail. But its also very simple. Get enough stock of what your existing clients want. And stop taking on new products, untill you have sorted out the basics.
