I love this butchery. The people are so nice. You get prepacked meat and a selection you can weigh. They cater for every pocket whether you R100 or R1000 you will get 2 items and more. Best part They open on Sundays too.

Lamb purchase epic fail- disgusted by management and staffs response.The Customer service at DC Meat in Town Centre Mitchells plain is disgusting. I entered the store along with my mother at around 3:45 on 18 November 2020 To buy a Whole Lamb. In the display was a half Lamb priced at R99.95 per Kg with a price of R786. I then asked if I could have a whole lamb that weighs around the same price as the one in the diaplay or if the remaining half is available for purchase. The guy attending to me then brings the second half that weighs in more than a R1000, so I reken thats doesnt sit well with me and decide only to take the first half..he walks around with the lamb as though he is looking for assistance he says that he needs to cut it into quarters and now returns with two new price tags both weighing more than R500 each. I am now very confused as before it was cut it weighed R786...another worker now takes over from him telling me that this is now the price and I am saying no it was displayed at R786 as a result I ask to speak to the manager, he says I can call the manager, but you wont win ... Firstly, I am not there to win nor am I there to beg for food. I am a paying customer, simply there to purchase a Lamb that I saw on display. The manager is then called he comes out looking very hesitant to approach me.he then eventually comes closer asking me what the problem is with an abrupt attitude, not being apologetic in anyway..so I proceed to explain what had occurred and his response is that he can cut R786 worth of lamb from that lamb for me but I wont get the whole lamb. And I ask him why is he behaving as if I am in the wrong?he says yes the staff weighed it at the wrong price. Not once was empathy or an apology offered for any inconvienance, the management has a great lack of professionalism, customer service and respect I wouldnt expect more of his staff.

Thursday the 06-02-20,went to DC Mitchells Plain industrial area,bought half a sheep i paid R1207.85 for supposedly 15kg @ R79.99 a kilo,bt when it was finished slicing on the pass out to double check the weight it was 14 kg.i felt cheated
