This is by far the best Bicycle shop in the Cape. The guys here are so genuine and straight forward. If they can fix a bicycle there and then for nothing they will.Even saw them trying to fix a guys wheel that was ruined when he was trying to get home. The bloke didnt have much money so they fixed it up for him anyway.I have been to this shop +/- 10 times and i have not had one bad experience. All very good.

Im a 51 year old anaesthesiologist who has always been keen on cycling, but short on cash. I have never bought a brand new bike for myself. I have done so for my wife and daughter, but I always figured that I would make do with something previously owned, if I had done my research and was patient enough.Ive spent the last 4 years as a roadie...first on a borrowed bike on DC, then bought a used Trek Domane S from a medical partner for R15k. Did 3 more DCc on that, and spent a week in France during the TdF 2019; rode LEtape de Tour.Started playing about on an MTB this year on a borrowed bike....and enjoyed it so much I made the owner of the bike an offer. He refused.So I started looking for a bike. Chatted with some mates, stopped in at a few bike stores...Somehow....ended up getting a lead on a used/demo/reconstructed bike at Specialized. I stopped in at at Freewheel Cycology/Specialized Kenilworth to enquire about it.Its a place I know well, as its next door to my IDT coachs venue. Ive bought many quality accessories there, and have always coveted the beautiful bikes in store.Paul was most helpful in tracking down the item and getting the relevant info to me. He arranged for the bike to be transported from the warehouse to the store for me to have a look at with no obligation.I have just purchased the S-Works Stumpjumper (used/rebuilt) from them at a real bargain but have been treated to the most amazing customer experience. I was treated to a complimentary bike fitting today by Willem...who knows his art and science, took his time, and got me really comfortable on the bike, and took me through the tech bits.I was not a big-spending customer at the store, but was given such great service that I will not ever buy from anyone else!Thank you Paul and Willem!I will be returning to see you guys when I upgrade my road bike...

Love this store. A bit pricey but worth it

Tyrell managed to source items for me that Ive tried a long while to find with zero assistance from the stores around JHB. Quick responses to my email correspondence and got back to me when he said he would. Pity Freewheel is in the Western Cape; thankfully being online helps a bundle!

Great shop for Specialized bikes/gear/accessories. Really helpful staff (Jayden in my case) and they did a bike fitting when I purchased my bike.

Absolutely outstanding service and value for money. This team go out of their way to help and I will not go anywhere else for bike deals or servicing. In a time where service is not on top of the list these guys (and girl) go above and beyond.

They treated me different to their other customers. I fele that they dont treat all customers the same. Their promises they do not keep either. Do not recommend them.

Great service and friendly staff

Flew from London to CT to ride the CTCT (Argus!). Accidentally over-tightened the thru-axle when rebuilding my SWorks, took it into these guys who were very, very busy. They stepped in and wrestled with the threaded thru-axle, got it out and replaced it and also loosened off some tight bearings in the stem head. Would only take the R425 (£25) for the axle and couldn’t have been more helpful. Amazing service and a credit to Cape Town! Within an hour was off cycling along the Atlantic seaboard to Chapmans Peak, which must be the most beautiful ride in the world, surely...

Best bike shop in CT. Such friendly and helpful staff that offer amazing service. They are always able to help you out and understand that sometimes you want to bring your bike in for something quickly before you go for a ride.Took my Giant Reign in today and got new brake pads, whilst they were changing them they also adjusted my gears free of charge and lubed my chain.Do yourself a favor and check them out.Thanks again guys!
