I found this quaint little salon last year and couldn’t be happier that it is just down the road from me! My preferred stylist, Marlene is always so friendly and understanding. She listens well and does exactly what I want done to my hair!And while you do your hair, you can actually get your nails done by the sweet, accommodating therapist. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, I absolute love it here!

It was my first time by Head Masters hair today and what an experience it was. I was invited in with a smile. I was assisted quite efficiently. My hair was washed and gently massaged, I actually almost fell asleep. I was taken into the hands of a very friendly stylist who cut, wash, blew and hot iron my hair. I went in for a recovery cut from a previous hairdresser who left me with uneven hair. I arrived late for my appointment and the stylist had 3 other appointments after me which arrived however she still did my hair with patience. I left a very happy customer. I will definitely return. Please keep up the good work.

Trimmed my hair way too short and I left with very dry hair. You would not say I just came from a salon and had a nourishing treatment done. Never going back to Headmasters group, Kenilworth

The nail tech is not very professional, toe nail was smudged and she just painted over it not removing it properly and should have repainted the nail, absolute disgrace!I had to leave as she had another client and one hand of mine was already painted and she removed it in seconds, went home with half painted nails.Will never go there again, sorry!

After a lackluster experience at an upmarket salon in Cape Town, I decided to venture down my street to try out a local salon. And I found a gem. The hairstylist and staff were so friendly and listened to my preferences instead of just doing their own thing. After highlights, my hair is still healthy enough to curl naturally! And at such an affordable price! The missing star is for not having a diffuser to blow my curls! But that’s about it. I love how this salon has such an old school charm. Felt quite nostalgic when I was there.

Wonderful and efficient. The staff is caring and they take the Covid-19 restrictions very seriously. The salon squeeky clean, there is absolutely no reason not to get a haircut in this otherwise troubling time.

Wonderful service. Hairdresser had a very good understanding of how to adapt the hairstyle I had in mind to suit my face. Very happy with the outcome.

Honestly, these ladies are ANGELS!! My friend and I had a bad run in with some box dye bleach and they were so sweet and so helpful. They allowed us to come in the moment we called and fixed our absolute hot mess hair, all the while being so kind and so friendly. If you ever need anything, come here. They are incredible at personalised service and so easy to work with.

Love this salon! Cozy and elegant!!! Nolene isthe best colorist! The owner Renee is so welcoming and kind and makes you feel at home, I highly recommend!!! All the stylists here are so talented! You are treated special from the moment you walk in the door!

When you get tired of paying a fortune for pretentious salons who then also try and sell you stuff you dont need, then make an appointment here. Experienced hairdressers at very good value. Friendly and relaxed . Ill be back.
