They rushed me to come through as it was not even time for my appointment yet. When I got there they rushed the appointment because they were overbooked. My wax was done very unprofessionally and rushed. The wax was all over my hands and the beautician’s glasses. She was extremely rushed and rough. She said that it was due to the fact that she’s overbooked. You MESSED UP MY SKIN. Poor service. I will not go back or recommend you guys ever again.Update: they apologized and said that they’ll give me a voucher. It’s been a week and still no voucher. When I called, the lady forgot to drop the call and I could hear her say “it’s that girl, about the voucher”...NO IT’S THAT GIRL WHOSE SKIN YOU BRUISED!

Appointments are easily available during the week. The prices are reasonable. The service was alright although the technician was distracted a bit and kept talking to her co workers while busy with me. However she did do a good job with my pedicure. One of the best I had. The gelish manicure was also good.

And broke the following day and they refused to refund me. They didnt bother to call back I had to phone them countless times. They knew im travelling and opted to offer me a voucher instead which I said I didnt want I just want my money back....

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she was very happy with the work done, but I noticed the shop could definitely be in a bit better shape. Their prices were the exact same as every other beauty shop, so Id expect them to not look like one from the year 2001 anymore.

I got my lash extension, pedicure, as sculpture nails done from them, the lady was so unprofessional that she used CELLO TAPE under my eyes and ripped my skin off while removing it, and when I asked her she claims that this is what she learn from beauty school but no certification to prove it.After showing photos to their owner of the damage, she said that I must get a cream of her suggestion to use and thats it.Which i refused as its open skin and cannot use anything without Doctor’s consultation as it’s been 2 days n it still feel like burning and skin has turned dark.I paid full amount but they still refuse to accept that they left permanent scare under both my eyes and my Sculpture nail extension started to come off just after a day which I’m assuming that the product they use is expired.I have been there customer from years and have tired many times to suggest its owner to make improvements every time I had some treatment done from them, as I believe business can improve, but I have also realised that even after many suggestion and complains if they don’t want to make improvement it’s totally wrong.They use dirty tools, dirty towel even during Covid-19 when they shouldn’t be using used tools or towels from previous customers.I will strongly recommend not to get any service done from them.

I had the manicure was a good experience I especially loved the hand and arm massage same cant be said for the waxing experience the therapist was very inexperienced practically ripped my face off. The wax was super hot and she ripped the strips in the wrong direction. 🤦‍♀️

Sculptured Nails acrylic done 21 Dec 2020 at canal walk.. Very disappointed, not even an hour after done and gel polish starts to chip and peel 😡 never again.

The pedicure treatment was great...but we had to wait a while and my friend who accompanied me had to wait even longer even though we booked our treatments at the same time.

My nails were thick, the glue was stuck to my skin under my nails, you can see the layers of acrylic and they charged my R400 for natural when on the website it said it was R360. I didnt have anything fancy at all. They gave me a discount of R10 because I wasnt happy. They charged extra for a top coat which I think is ridiculous. Definitely wont be back!!!

Had a wonderful foot soak, massage and vigorous scrub. My feet were in a bad condition and I walked out walking on clouds. Really friendly staff.

I’ve been going to Zinhle to my brow wax and tint since I moved to Cape Town in 2015.. she is amazing! I’ve moved from century city since then and will travel all the way to her from town to have them done ✅ highly recommend her!!

TERRIBLE!!! so-called technician packed on the acryllic like she was plastering a house with cement. When I complained I was made to seem like I was being a difficult client. The technician and manager claimed that is how it is supposed to look. Unbelievable!! My nails have humps now, the shape is completely different to how my real nails look like. It is supposed to be as seamless as possible. Not forgetting that the process took THREE HOURS!!!!

They waxed off part of my eyebrow in the middle and instead of apologizing they tried to convince me that I never had any hair there.. never got an apology and the manager or supervisor lady just looked at me with a little smirk and said nothing. Wouldnt recommend them to anyone, this is not the first time I have walked out with something being done incorrectly. Rather take your business to Nail Fantasy where they know what they are doing and run a professional business.

I am extremely upset about the service I received from the staff in Canal Walk, Century City Divas Nails last week.I came in for a thread since it is not my first time going there however it wasnt the same female that did my brows. I call her a female and not beautician because coming in she was sitting in the corner on her phone numb the wiser of whats happening around her. When they called her from across reception she got up and walked straight to the bay for waxing and threading not greeting but simply showing me with her hands to come in. At this point I was wondering if this girl is deaf or if I look deaf.I showed her a picture of how I have my brows shaped and I also told her that I dont want it any thinner or thicker than it already is. Basically she had to just do a clean up cause my brows were done 3weeks ago and I have it done every 3 weeks.She just said okay.My brows look as if she used a blade. The shape is completely different from what it was. The ends was so thin and on my left brow she thread off a piece of my front leaving it looking like my brow has a cut in the front, the arch being higher than the right side as well as a whole just before the start of the arch. I told her what she did wrong and she looked at me like a small child that didnt understand.When I went to the reception she asked me what she must do about it. I gave a look and asked her what am I going to do about the whole in my brow. Then she said , you can come back when its grown out. I said thats not solving the fact that I now have a whole in my brow. She looked at me clueless then asked the girl if she can do a tint. I asked her if the tint will cover the damage because I know once the tint comes off your skin the whole will yet again show. The receptionist then said okay its fine. I asked her whats fine. She said its fine. I just gave them both a look and walked out very upset.I am disgusted by the poor service I received. And I now need to wear my fringe over my brows and in my eyes to cover up the mess of what seems to be a unqualified beautician.I will also be taking this to social media so that my friends and everyone else can know not to have their eyebrows done at Divas NailsBecause the service was appalling and I didnt even receive and apology for the damage caused to my brows. This is something in my face. And I am not in the least pleased.

Appointments was easily available on a busy Saturday which was good. It did feel like we were being rushed and like they were just trying to pump the most people through their system..definitely a quantity over quality situation. The products was cheap and the technician wasnt the best..making mistakes and not fixing them. The manicure was relatively cheap but definitely not worth it. I would rather pay more for a more relaxing experience and not regret the money I spend. Also there was a weird experience where there was a guy coming in and selling biltong and all the technicians left their work to buy biltong and negotiating the price while the customer was left baffled as to what was going on.

What a horrible experience.I went in today at 2pm to have my lashes done. I wasnt sure if I wanted flares or classics then I remembered the last time I had classic lashes the tech said my eyes were too sensitive for the glue so I chose flares(prior to this experience they worked absolutely fine). The tech insisted on classic lashes saying that whomever applied it did it wrong. So I gave her an opportunity and she said she knows what shes doing, only to go through the same experience if not worse! Burning eyes and laying there not knowing if Ill have eyesight when I was done or not. The more I told the lash tech to stop she insisted and continued. I said multiple times my eyes are burning, please stop. Now I have had lashes done many times before and not once was it this painful and too top it all when she told me to get up and that she had completed, I walk to the mirror and my lashes are still stuck together!I am not writing this saying all of their service is exceptionally bad but what I am saying is that how do you allow that level of professionalism and render such poor service when dealing with one of the most sensitive parts of your face. Or do these these people get paid so poorly that even though I opted for the flares the tech went with classic because its more expensive and shell get more comission.Knowing very well she was stuffing up. On more than 3 occasions it felt as if she was pluking out my lashes and fighting with the glue! Im also not overlooking the fact that I may be sensitive towards the product but then atleast stop when I ask you too as it may have been a medical reaction.Her kid who was with her on duty also kept coming in an out of the room which was very disturbing.I paid and as I stood at the counter all the lady could do was blame me for blinking and said to me it started out bad because the tape had moved!!!!!The administrator apologized and allowed me to leave.

Disgusting no sanitation at all. Very dirty. Paid R420 for manicure and pedicure my feet are still rock hard, used an old file on my feet. When the woman did my manicure I had to ask to cut the cuticles cause she forgot. Then when she painted my nails she missed half the nice I had to ask 7 times to paint it over again, no top coat my nails are already chipping and I had it done yesterday. Will never go back.

I paid R500 for a new set of nails that looks as if it was made thick enough to be for an ogre.It looks as if I have a disease, my nails are so thick with the amount of acrylic the technician kept plastering on, absolutely ridiculous.I am so very unhappy with the treatment and that I have to walk around with these hideous nails that are way to big for my fingers!The salon is also FILTHY!!Disgusting place! Sis!!

Got gelish done here for the first time. A few nails did not dry properly, but my nail technician was apologetic and willing to re-do them for me. I left the salon feeling very happy with my nail colour and the quality of the finish. I received warm, friendly service. They also offer the most competitive gelish price at Canal Walk.

Inexperienced nail technician. Blunt and dirty tools. I got up and walked out after 10 mins of being hurt and a bleeding cuticle. Not fun. Was so looking forward to a relaxing treat.

Horrible experience. Had a soak off and gelish application done, the woman doing my nails was so rough and hurt me often. She was so messy and took offence when I explained that I was not happy. I have scabs all around my nails because she was so rough filling off my previous gelish, catching my skin the entire time and then burning my hands in boiling hot acetone to soak them off. The tools were dirty. I had to tell her 4 or 5 times to re-do/re-apply, she then got annoyed with me telling her that i was not happy. Shocked at the service, the experience was incredibly painful and I wil NEVER return to Diva nails. This was supposed to be a relaxing treat for me - never again.

Ive been going to Divas nails for more than a year now, at least twice a month. Appointments are readily available, just walk in, and someone will readily assist. The few times I had to wait, was few and far between, and never for longer than 15 minutes. My favorite technician is Sarah, shes brilliant, talented and rocks the ombre french like no other. Zinhle is fantastic at waxing, threading and various other salon treatments. If youre one of the all I want is world Peace and a pedicure kind, go there for the latter... The technicians are amazing and your feet will relax and sparkle without further delay.... Sometimes they even put the multiple rainbow lights on inside your feets bubble bath , so they can have a little party! I wholeheartedly recommend Divas nails, theyre thé most available, excellent and reasonably priced in the Cape, and their nails dont break! Ask for a loyalty card, and youll get a discount after a certain amount of treatments. Wonderful place, you’ll be supporting and empowering talented, beautiful girls❤️

Weve visited this place way too often - unplanned. Shes difficult to please but the Divas always gets it right, whether nails or eyebrows. Dont leave your lady in there too long, these guys works fast! Otherwise, join her for a foot massage.

This is a very dirty spa. The waxing room and the pedicure stations are hardly ever cleaned and they leave the basin dirty and foamy from the previous client, ew!! The towels are damp and reused without being washed. Also its the most expensive spa in the whole mall yet the dirtiest one.

I had the worst experience at the Canal Walk branch, from the cockroach to the dirty foot spa, the unfriendly and inexperienced therapist that worked on me and the therapists eating and discussing stomach bugs aound me. It is the most awful salon I have ever been too. And the contact form on the website does not work.

This place has no customer centricity. I waxed there 2 weeks ago and my eyelid was burnt and swollen.I never received an apology nor a response : the manager instead had her staff tell me she cant talk she needs to catch her train- I spent 600 at this place .

So disappointed, went for 3/4 leg wax...terrible results, a bunch of hair still left on my leg. Wax looks of poor quality.
