Imagine requesting an on site visit and quotation for a small guest bathroom upgrade only to be asked whether I’m willing to spend in excess of R80k to R90 k minimum otherwise I’d be wasting time. This pre visit pricing was determined without any detail enquired about what needs to be done or what finishes are preferred. I have since tasked one of your premium competitors to proceed with their quote and work. I wouldn’t trust your company for any kind of work.

It takes a special type of personality to take on a kitchen project. There are lots of moving parts and contractors to coordinate. Even though Im a bit of a control freak it didnt take me long to realise I was actually in very good hands. Pat impressed me with his quick turn around time in the initial design phase. It wasnt long before we had some brilliant 3D renders in our hands and a few days later we decided to go ahead. Day 1 Pat and his team all arrived exactly on time at my place. Electricians, plumbers and builders - Pat gave everyone instructions and we were on our way. I was amazed at how much time Pat spent on site. I noticed he was firm with his employees but also kind and complementary to their good work. When he wasnt on site he was always available on the phone and sorted out any issues very quickly. Pat also took the time to work with other contractors that I had hired in order to ensure the work they did was compatible with his (we had new folding doors and a floor installed). The kitchen got completed on time and we are extremely pleased with the result. No short cuts were taken and quality parts were used everywhere. I remember thinking to myself more than once that clearly he has done this many times before - his experience is very apparent. Thank you Pat and team for your excellent service. HDI redecorated my kitchen and from the start their professional conduct and good workmanship impressed me. I was especially impressed with the communication between the different workmen, Jeff the designer/manager and myself. At times I was travelling and they were left alone doing what they do best.
