It was great. The service is excellent and they do go above and beyond. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because it is expensive. I would recommend them at a great treat and a excellent experience.

Edge for men is incredible. All the times I’ve been there has been awesome. The customer service is brill and the cuts they give are so edgy. Be careful when they wash your hair it’s the best and you may fall asleep.

Staff are extremely friendly and they offer a range of beverages while you wait. You get a very relaxing scalp massage while your hair is washed (usually the highlight of my day), and all services (from nose waxing to beard trimming/shaving) are done quickly and professionally. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, but the experience is worth it. Bookings are recommended, but they do walk-ins.

Great hairdressing salon with some very talented hairdressers and beard sculptors. Not all hairdressers are at the same level though so finding someone who is passionate and attentive is recommended. Reasonably good value for money.

I just paid R250 for an absolute trainwreck of a haircut, and a lot of time wasted on pointless things. I am guessing that the music was too loud for the person who cut my hear to hear me literally say as long as possible when he asked how much on the top?. He proceeded to cut off about held the length, and no, there was NO reason to do so - no dead strands, no split ends, none of that.I wish he had asked me if he didnt hear me properly, not sure how I should have known he didnt hear or understand me at all...Well, I guess I have no choice but to walk around like this for 2 or 3 months while I grow back the length required to wear my hair in an appropriate manner.

I highly recommend this place to everyone. The service is impeccable, the stylists are super fun and friendly, they give honest and professional advice and their craft is second to none. These guys know what theyre doing and they do it well.

Let me start off with the positive point, the head massage was very nice, the haircut in and of itself was okay.But the service and overall experience not so much.My stylist was arrogant and kept hinting towards a tip. He did not let off on the whole tips subject for the entire haircut.When I proceeded to pay, after successfully avoiding paying a tip, I was horrified to find out that for this uneasy interaction I was expected to pay R240.You and your money are better off going elsewhere.

Mohammed is an amazing barber, both my hair and beard. Never had a bad experience over the last 9 months monthly visits.

My regular stylist is Mohammed (Mo) and if he is not around then I wait until he is back in the shop. He has a unique way of approaching customers and their specific hair needs. I have never been disappointed and he always impresses me with his humour, knowledge about the hair industry and the finesse taken with my hair. Edge Canal Walk really has a superstar in their midst. Keep up the good work Mo.

They dont have a lot of space to work with which I understand. Free refreshments are great but at this price point its a necessity.In the end the cut was still average - but thats a mall business for you.

They are the best hair stylist for men Ive been to in cape town. Ive been here for about 3 years now. Worst haircut Ive ever received.I called and was promised the following:Switchbladed fade (use of a switchblade)Picture reference cutsA stylist who knew how to do this.I got there and they were confused as to who I was. The stylist they said I would get, I did not get. I got some woman named Nelly. Rude and brash, she had the cheek to tell me you should know what youre talking about and what you want. She is the stylist,not me, I dont know all the terms. Give what is on the picture. She was visibly and physically irritable.The cut lasted 15 minutes. It took more time to wash my hair. I received no fade, no switchblade and not the style I wanted. And she shaved half of my head a 1 and the other half a 2!!! I look like a clown.Then they had the cheek to charge me R250 for that!!! Unacceptable!!!!! You dont rush a haircut.

I am so disappointed and annoyed about the horrible haircut this salon gave my 9 year old son. My son cried from the time we left all the way home. This haircut cost R190! Worst of the worst.A trainee from Morocco was let loose on me even though I stipulated I was not comfortable with that.Low and behold he butchered my hair and I left fumming and rightly so refused to pay.The sheer lack of courtesy and respect for patrons is evident from the moment you arrive as the hostess would rather make a phone call than address the customer right in front of her.Shocking to mention the Cavendish branch with the same attitude.. or lack there of.Stay away, there are far better hair salons than this pit of despair

Men, thats where you need to going for a high powered, high class spoil. Haircut, shave and waxing, professionally done in friendly easygoing environment.

Kamal is what makes this place. He is a perfectionist that cares about the detail as a stylist.... As stylist should be. The salon itself is too small and cramp. The pornographic music they play is appealing but they did switch it off and apologies. remember guys canal walk is a family venue and my kids are always with me. Horrible experience. I have received 3 haircuts from Edge For Men in Canalwalk and have gotten no good experiences. I got a military buzz cut, which I payed R190 for. When I said I was unhappy I was offered a fizzer. A FIZZER!
